Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon was born on September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York. He is best known for his work as a former cast member of “Saturday Night Live,” and as the current host of “The Tonight Show.”

After starting his career as a stand-up comedian, Fallon was hired as a feature player on the 24th  season of “Saturday Night Live” in September 1998. He quickly rose to become one of the show’s most popular stars as a result of his spot-on celebrity impressions and music-themed comedy bits.

Fallon left the sketch comedy show in 2004 to pursue a movie career. He starred in the action-comedy “Taxi” alongside Queen Latifah, and the romantic comedy “Fever Pitch,” co-starring Drew Barrymore, but neither film were hits at the box office. In 2009, Fallon’s career saw a major resurgence when he was tapped to be Conan O’Brien’s replacement as the new host of NBC’s “Late Night.” Following his success on the program, he took over “The Tonight Show” from Jay Leno in 2014, becoming the sixth permanent host of the iconic late-night talk show.

Fallon has been married to film producer Nancy Juvonen since 2007, and is the father of two daughters, one born in 2013, and the other in 2014.
