Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star in and produce “Legacy of Secrecy,” based on the book by Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

In the film, DiCaprio will play real-life FBI informant Jack Van Laningham, who befriended Carlos Marcello, a mafia boss who reportedly confessed to being involved in the president’s 1963 murder.
