Casey Anthony‘s lawyer Jose Baez is reportedly meeting with the major television networks in a New York hotel to decide which outlet will land the first interview with his controversial client.

NBC, ABC and CBS are said to be in negotiations with Baez, under whose legal counsel Anthony was acquitted of murder in the death of her two-year-old daughter Caylee.

Gossip Cop debunked an earlier report claiming that Jerry Springer had offered Anthony $1 million to appear with her family on his show.

NBC currently has the inside track on an Anthony interview, according to TMZ.

Casey Anthony‘s trial made her one of the biggest stories of 2011, so speculation is already flying about when and where she’ll give her first media appearance since being acquitted of her toddler daughter’s murder.

Now RadarOnline claims Jerry Springer has offered Anthony $1 million to appear on his show.

“It’s the first genuine mega offer to be made to Casey,” says the site, which reports that Springer’s camp made the offer to Anthony’s legal team this morning, supposedly with the catch that she must appear with her parents, Cindy and George, as well as her brother, Lee.

The trial sparked allegations of sexual abuse among the Anthonys.

Obviously, there would be prurient interest in seeing the fractured family interviewed together.

But it’s not going to happen on “The Jerry Springer Show.”

Radar’s story is ”not true,” a rep for Springer tells Gossip Cop.

Yesterday, the British tab The Express reported that Jennifer Aniston was going to make a return to TV – as a talk-show host.

Huh?

According to the story, picked up EVERYWHERE, the supposed chat show would launch on OWN – Oprah Winfrey Network – come this spring.

Money isn’t a factor, says a so-called source, who claims, “She is doing this for one reason only; she absolutely wants to do it.”

So how did this all allegedly come about? Like most things: Chelsea Handler.

“Jen became fascinated with the format after spending time with Chelsea. When she saw Oprah she mentioned that it would be fun to do a chat show and Oprah seized the moment and suggested they front one together for her network,” says the “source.”

Isn’t this so unbelievable? Actually it’s entirely unbelievable. Gossip Cop has been assured that Aniston is 100 percent not going to switch gears and host a talk-show.

Darn, we were hoping she’d get all Jerry Springer on people.
