Jenelle Evans was arrested for possession of heroin and assault in North Carolina on Tuesday.

The “Teen Mom 2″ star was taken into custody on charges including possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell, distribute; simple assault; and simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.

MTV may be pulling the plug on “Teen Mom 2″ amid the seemingly endless antics of one of the show’s four stars, Jenelle Evans.

According to the New York Post, the network plans to shut down production on the series, in part because of the bad publicity generated by Evans.
