None of the information in the Star magazine story about Britney Spears being abused by boyfriend Jason Trawick is true, and ex-husband Jason Alexander hasn’t spoken to the pop star in years.

A rep for Spears issued the following statement to Gossip Cop

A second audio purported to be Britney Spears talking with ex-husband Jason Alexander about Jason Trawick’s abuse has just been released.

But, like the first recording, this one is a fake.

On it, “Spears” tells Alexander that she never reported Trawick’s supposed beatings because she “didn’t want the public knowing about it… I didn’t want to file anything, so everyone could find out. So I’ve just left him and changed my number.”

Star magazine claimed that Britney Spears was “beaten” by boyfriend Jason Trawick.

But Gossip Cop has confirmed that some of the tabloid’s key evidence is phony.

The tab alleged to have a series of phone calls and e-mails that Spears allegedly made to friend (and onetime husband) Jason Alexander, in which she claims to have been physically hurt.

“Britney is in an abusive relationship,” Alexander told Star.
