“I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,” reveals Cox.

“This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage… Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us,” she says in her first interview with TV Week. Do you think Cox and Arquette will reconcile?

David Arquette and Courteney Cox’s separation came as unpleasant news last week, but some outlets are doing their best to make matters seem worse than they are.

There was already the made up story about Arquette firing his fling Jasmine Waltz from a club job (which actually didn’t even exist) and speculative reports that Cox is beginning to date other men (which she is not).

Now the National Enquirer has jumped on the bandwagon, claiming that the couple’s “divorce” is “getting ugly.”

Arquette is partnering with Jeff Beacher to bring the latter’s “Beacher’s Madhouse” production to a new theater at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.

According to In Touch, after her sexual dalliance with Arquette was made public, Waltz was fired from a gig as “the face of the club.”

The mag’s claim is 100% untrue.

Arquette said on the air that it was Cox who wanted to separate shortly after their 11th anniversary in June, citing she was “tired of being [his] mother.”

The “Scream” star insists that he didn’t cheat on Cox before they split, but does admit to having since slept with “rebound” Jasmine Waltz.
