Vodka and prescription medication were found in the room where Jani Lane died.

The cause of death has not been determined, with an autopsy scheduled for today. Officials are reportedly treating the case as a possible accidental overdose.

The Warrant singer, who was found dead last night at a Comfort Inn in Los Angeles, had a history of alcohol-related arrests.

Jani Lane, the former lead singer of Warrant, was found dead tonight at a Comfort Inn hotel in L.A.

The cause of death has yet to be released. Lane, who wrote Warrant’s biggest song, “Cherry Pie,” was 47.
