Actor Now Claims He Never Told Tabs Justin Theroux Had a “Drug Past”

Keith Middlebrook, the actor who Star and RadarOnline allegedly quoted discussing Justin Theroux‘s “drug past,” claims he never said anything like that.

On Friday, RadarOnline posted a story from its sister publication Star that supposedly quoted Middlebrook as saying that on the set of Iron Man 2, Theroux “told me about using powerful painkillers like Dilaudid, as well as mushrooms, ecstasy, cocaine, heroin, LSD and crack.”

Now, however, Middlebrook says he never said those things about Theroux.

‘Eclipse’ to Debut on Record Number of Screens

It remains to be seen how much cash “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” takes in when it opens this week, but fans will have ample opportunity to catch it.

The movie is set to debut on a record 4,416 screens on Wednesday, beating the previous domestic release high of 4,380 (“Iron Man 2″).

Shrek Forever After ($43.3 million) came back to beat Sex and the City 2 ($32.1 million) for the Friday-through-Sunday period this holiday weekend, taking the #1 spot at the box office after Sex had raced to a huge midnight Thursday/Friday take.

“Shrek” Brings in the Green While “MacGruber” Bombs

According to updated estimates, Shrek Forever After 3D will breeze to a $72 million weekend opening and first place at the box office.

The other major release, action spoof MacGruber, looks to have bombed with just $4.1 million in receipts.

While the actual numbers for both films look to be slightly under initial projections, Iron Man 2 will hold off Robin Hood to keep the box office crown this weekend.

Iron Man 2 will finish with roughly $49 million for the weekend. It has broken the $200 million barrier in its first two weeks of release.

Robin Hood — the #1 film internationally — scored about $36 million in North America.
