India.Arie has taken to Twitter to deny she had her skin lightened on her new single’s cover art.

Speculation ran rampant Friday after blogs and fans pointed out that the Grammy winner’s skin color didn’t appear to be as dark as usual in the photo for “Cocoa Butter.”

Dozens and dozens of stars were at the Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles earlier today to record a remake of “We Are the World” to benefit those devastated by the earthquake in Haiti.

Among those lending their voices and support were Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Wyclef Jean, Pink, Jennifer Hudson, the Jonas Brothers, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, Tony Bennett, and Justin Bieber, to name just a few.
