Somerhalder tweeted, “People change and forget to tell each other,” quoting the late playwright Lillian Hellman.

Dobrev posted the news on Friday, after she and Somerhalder spent time with the 14-year-old patient in Toronto over Easter Weekend.

According to a flurry of stories that originated on Celeb Dirty Laundry, “The Vampire Diaries” couple supposedly broke up.

Why?

The website blames Somerhalder’s (imaginary) potential casting in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie and then claims that because the two stars tweet about different things, it means they’re “leading separate lives.”
