Rachael Ray is donating $500,000 to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in the wake of Hurricane Sandy to help relief efforts for families and their pets affected by the storm.

The TV host is also shipping 4 tons of her Nutrish brand dog food to devastated areas, and Ray’s Yum-o! non-profit organization is giving $100,000 to City Harvest and the Food Bank for New York City.

The teen singer announced that he’s donating $1 to victims of the superstorm from every ticket sold to his New York-area “Believe” concerts.

Rihanna is donating 1,000 sleeping bags to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts through the New York Daily News.

The singer is also hosting a listening party for her new album Unapologetic at the 40/40 Club in New York on Friday, and fans are being asked to bring supplies like diapers, coats and blankets in order to gain admission.

Lady Gaga has donated $1 million to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts by the American Red Cross.

The singer made the announcement on her Little Monsters website on Wednesday.

Simon Cowell has donated $25,000 to the New York Daily News’ Hurricane Sandy relief fund.

The “X Factor” creator said in a statement, “I’m proud to give my support to the Daily News Sandy appeal. This has been a terrible tragedy for so many families who have had their lives and homes destroyed.”
