Ben Affleck has launched a new program to aid eastern Congo.

The Eastern Congo Initiative will raise money and awareness concerning widespread atrocities against women and children in the violence-ravaged region. It is partly funded by Warren Buffet’s son Howard G. Buffett, whom Affleck pitched directly.
