Courtney Love’s Twitter account has been suspended as the controversial rocker faces the first high-profile defamation trial over a celebrity’s tweets.

In March 2009, the Hole singer ranted on Twitter against fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir, characterizing her as a drug pusher, prostitute and violent thief.

According to the music magazine, the Hole singer and widow of Kurt Cobain wants to now go by the name of Courtney Michelle. Really?
