“It’s over!” for Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, reports Star magazine, recycling a tabloid rumor from August that claimed the couple was ending their 14-year marriage.

The mag predicts the Smiths will file divorce papers in the near future, quoting a so-called “source” as saying, “They’ve been faking it for a long time and they don’t want to live a lie anymore.”

In a piece titled, “Faking Their Break,” Star magazine now claims that (erroneous) split rumors involving Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were nothing more than “a publicity ruse intended to breathe new life in Jada’s show, HawthoRNe.”

The show, not too long afterwards, was canceled.

Regardless, the tabloid maintains they also had the marital strife rumors spread because Jada thinks she and her husband are now viewed as “too family-friendly” and “too boring.” Seriously?

Rumors of an affair between Marc Anthony and Jada Pinkett Smith were no surprise to Jennifer Lopez, reports In Touch, which claims the actress had been “suspicious of her husband’s growing closeness” to his “HawthoRNe” co-star.

Back in May, says the mag, Lopez was “bothered” by how much time Anthony was spending on the show’s set. The tab quotes an “insider” as saying, “She was wondering why he was always on set, even when he didn’t need to be there.” Really?

A report originating with the New York Post claims ‘Men in Black 3′ has been shut down due to arguments among Will Smith, director Barry Sonnenfeld and producers.

According to a so-called “source” for the Post, the movie “has gone on hiatus again” because “Smith, Sonnenfeld and the producers have been fighting.” The disputes “are believed to be about the script,” alleges the paper.

The New York Daily News hears from “sources” that Will Smith is causing production problems for wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s medical series, “HawthoRNe.”

According to the paper’s “well-connected insider,” a recent, unplanned eight-day hiatus was ordered by the show’s network, TNT, to “sort out all of the production’s complications,” which executives supposedly blame on Will Smith “because he isn’t cooperating with the rest of the team.”
