Generally, the Tuesday night episode of “American Idol” beats the Wednesday night results show.

But not last week.

The Tuesday show, which showcased the music of the late Frank Sinatra, arranged by Harry Connick, Jr., only garnered 17.5 million viewers, making it the lowest watched episode since 2003.

But Lady Gaga’s performance the following night drew an additional 2.1 million audience viewers.

Was it that Sinatra’s music is too old or have you grown tired of the show?

And are you tuning in tonight?
