According to the site, there were so many displaced Libyans “closing in on” Jolie during her visit to a refugee camp in neighboring Tunisia, “The UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador was forced to cancel half of her visit for security reasons.” Really?

In an unannounced visit, Angelina Jolie quietly returned yesterday to Haiti, where she met with President René Préval.

Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, also met with other government and U.N. officials to discuss the situation of Haiti’s children, many of whom were orphaned and left homeless after the nation’s devastating earthquake on January 12.

After cheering on the New Orleans Saints at the Super Bowl in Miami, Angelina Jolie traveled to the Dominican Republic, where she spent time yesterday with hospitalized victims of the Haiti earthquake.

And later today, Jolie, a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, will head to Haiti to meet with those who affected by the earthquake.
