Kris Humphries appeared for his first TV interview on network television since his split from Kim Kardashian after 72 days of marriage, and he opened up about their breakup.

Humphries, who was on “Good Morning America” on Friday with his mother Debra, deflected most questions about his and Kardashian’s failed union, but said he’s “moving forward” and “focused on basketball.”

A free agent, Humphries is waiting to hear whether he’s been picked up by a NBA team.

When asked how he’s doing post-split, Humphries said, “Certain things happen in life, and you have to move forward.”

“I’m focused on basketball… Other things will take care of itself,” he noted.

Humhpries’ mom, who was on to do a cooking segment with her son and to discuss their foundation to fight child obesity, noted that after Kardashian filed for divorce, “The important thing is to stay close as family through the ups and downs that come, and it’s our fath in God that carries us through all of these times.”

She added, “We try to focus on being thankful… We’re not trying to look back.”

As the segment concluded, Humphries responded to a question about whether he still loves Kardashian: “I’m focused on just what I can control, which is ready to play ball.”

He also said what he’d like the public to know about him is that “I love to give back. I’m a fun guy. I don’t play into the gossip.”

Kris Jenner, who was on “Good Morning America” to promote her new memoir, “Kris Jenner and all Things Kardashian,” naturally talked about the book after first discussing Kim Kardashian and her decision to end her marriage to Kris Humphries.

Jenner said, “It was a decision she came to after a lot of heartache,” noting that for a long time Kim’s ”dream [was] to get married and have babies, and raise a family — that’s all she’s ever wanted.”

The famous family’s matriarch couldn’t pinpoint when her daughter realized her marriage was over, but did say, “Kim hasn’t been the Kim I know… She seemed worried, not her happy self.”

“I want Kim back….  I want her to be happy,” added Jenner, implying that Humphries was not the answer.

As for the infamous 20.5-carat diamond engagement ring that Humphries gave Kardashian, don’t count on the reality star returning the under $1 million bauble.

Jenner said, “I hate an Indian giver. It’s a gift. You keep a gift.”

From a legal standpoint, the ring 100 percent belongs to Kardashian.

Chaz Bono appeared on “Good Morning America” today and said he hasn’t been “paying that much attention” to the controversy surrounding his selection as the first transgendered contestant on “Dancing with the Stars.”

“I think it’s a much bigger deal to everybody else than it is to me,” said Bono, whose mom, Cher, has been among his most vocal supporters.

For the critics, Bono’s message is simple.

“I’m just a regular guy,” he says. “All these ideas that children shouldn’t watch me, [that] I’m going to be confusing, all this stuff… it’s crazy.”

Bono will be paired with dancing pro Lacey Schwimmer when “DWTS” premieres on September 19.

Marc Anthony opens up for the first time since he and Jennifer Lopez announced their split, telling ABC News, “nothing sensationalistic” happened to cause their marriage to end.

In an interview scheduled to air on “Good Morning America” and “Nightline,” Anthony talks about the end of his 7-year marriage to Lopez, dismissing rumors of infidelity and explaining the real reason behind the split.

Asked about reports that their marriage ended because of cheating, the singer says, “Absolutely not.”

“It was a realization on both our parts. So you know it wasn’t shocking. These things happen,” he says. “It was a decision that we made jointly.”

Anthony explains, “It wasn’t sustainable the way it was, and that’s that.”

The full interview airs tonight on “Nightline.”

“Bachelorette” Ashley Hebert and her chosen man J.P. Rosenbaum appeared on “Good Morning America” today to discuss their relationship since the show ended, as well as their future plans together.

As the couple said on the “After the Final Rose” special last night, Hebert is planning on moving to New York to be with her fiance.

Rosenbaum said, “She’s going to move to New York, but first finish up school at U Penn. She’ll get a job, we’ll get settled and then talk about wedding. Maybe end of next year, fall of next year.”

Of those who doubt their relationship will last, Hebert said, “We’re going to prove them wrong.”

Paris Hilton left an interview on “Good Morning America” after being asked whether her “moment” has passed.

After talking about her recent experiences with stalkers and her on-screen comeback in “The World According to Paris,” Dan Harris questions Hilton on whether other celebutantes (like Kim Kardashian) now overshadow her.

Uncomfortable with the conversation’s direction, Hilton can be seen looking off-camera and then bolts.

“What followed was a long and heated conversation with Hilton and her publicist,” explains Harris in a voice-over.

Eventually, Hilton recovered enough to show off her massive doghouse, which is a replica of her own mansion.

Mismatched lovebirds Doug Hutchison and Courtney Stodden appeared on “Good Morning America” today to discuss their controversial marriage (he’s 51, and she’s 16).

The couple describe how their first (professional) contact blossomed into an online courtship.

When they first met online, Hutchison thought the, um, mature-looking Stodden was in her twenties. Upon finding out she was 16, he says, “It didn’t make me want to walk away, but it definitely was a struggle inside my heart… because I had already started falling for her.”

Hutchison eventually flew up to meet Stodden and her family, and wound up proposing.

Stodden’s mother was the one who first pointed out that it was possible for them to marry despite her daughter’s age.

And that’s what they did.

Hutchison says the criticism he’s seen online has been tough, but “if [people] need to feel this way… it’s OK. I’ve been called worse than a pedophile in my life.”

Eden Wood, a six-year-old beauty queen on “Toddlers and Tiaras,” has decided to retire.

The pint-sized pageant veteran won 300 times during her short career on the circuit, and will now turn her attention to endeavors including her music and her memoir.

Seriously.

Wood, who aspires to be a “superstar,” was featured on “Good Morning America.”

“I think she’s following in the footsteps of some pretty big people who have done pageants like Oprah Winfrey,” says Wood’s mom Mickie. “As long as she enjoys what we’re doing and what she’s doing, mama’s gonna keep doing it.”

“If it leads to the Miley Cyrus status or the Selena Gomez or whoever, so be it. If it doesn’t, that’s fine, too. Why not see if we can’t have a Hollywood contract? A reality show? A spot on a Disney program? Why not? It’s the American Dream. It’s almost like her destiny.”

Sheesh.

Jennifer Aniston dropped by “Good Morning America” today to promote her upcoming comedy Horrible Bosses, and mentioned her new romance with Wanderlust co-star Justin Theroux.

Asked if she was happy in her personal life, a usually reserved Aniston opened up, “Yes, I’m very happy. I’m extremely lucky, and I’m extremely happy.”

Aniston wouldn’t go into detail, but it was clear she was alluding to her budding relationship with Theroux.

The couple has been seen all over New York together of late. Just this weekend, they went on a double date to Il Cantinori with Aniston’s Horrible Bosses co-star Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka.

Britney Spears‘ taped segment on “Good Morning America” aired today, and the singer revealed she’ll be touring this summer with Enrique Iglesias!

She told Robin Roberts in an interview backstage, “We’re going on tour with Enrique Iglesias in June!”

Not so fast…

Iglesias’ camp later released a statement saying, “Unfortunately, Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spears will not be touring together. Despite initial reports based on formal discussions of the possible run, Enrique will continue on his solo tour in support of his new album ‘Euphoria.’”

The statement added, “Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work.  He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone.”

ABC will not press charges against Chris Brown for his shocking meltdown yesterday following an appearance on “Good Morning America.”

The singer yelled, screamed and smashed a window in his dressing room with a chair after his segment.

The outburst, which was triggered by Robin Roberts‘ questions about his infamous beating of Rihanna, led many to question whether the network would press charges against the Brown, whose probation could be revoked.

Instead, ABC will not only refrain from pressing charges, but Roberts has also invited Brown back on the show, which she says he’s “seriously considering.”

Chris Brown had a violent outburst at “Good Morning America” today, allegedly triggered by questions about his infamous beating of Rihanna.

After interviewer Robin Roberts asked Brown about the topic, the performer went ballistic backstage, confronting production staff and screaming so loudly security had to be called.

We’re told Brown smashed a window in his dressing room with a chair, sending glass onto the Times Square intersection below.

Brown then stormed out of ABC without a shirt, skipping a scheduled performance for the network’s website.

In a since-deleted tweet immediately after the incident, Brown wrote, “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!!”

UPDATE: ABC news has responded to Brown’s outburst, defending Roberts for asking “relevant and newsworthy questions.”

Charlie Sheen explains to Andrea Canning in his upcoming “20/20” interview that the reason he’s speaking up now is “there’s some wrongs to be righted, and there’s some stories to tell that people need to hear my side of it.”

Sheen, who has already ranted day after day on radio shows, taped his first TV interview over the weekend.

“I have one speed. I have one gear. Go! And I dare you to keep up with me,” Sheen tells Canning while, at times, flanked by his two girlfriends.

In addition to addressing the production shut down of “Two and a Half Men” and his very public feud with the show’s creator and executive producer, Chuck Lorre, Sheen announces, “I am on a drug – it’s called Charlie Sheen.”

The full hourlong interview will air Tuesday on “20/20,” as well as on “Good Morning America” tomorrow and Tuesday. Portions will also be on the network’s website.

Capri Anderson, who was with Charlie Sheen on that infamous October night, appeared this morning on “Good Morning America.”

In an interview taped today and airing on Monday, Anderson will describe her infamous night with Sheen, supposedly portraying events as “much more violent” than what’s been reported to this point, according to TMZ.

Why then didn’t she tell the police these alleged details?

Hmm…

Anyway, her lawyer Keith Davidson, whom the site says Anderson has retained, will also appear.

Anderson says she was “extremely afraid” during Sheen’s drunken rampage, and recently began to explore her legal options.

Again, why didn’t she tell the police then?

What’s also interesting, Gossip Cop has learned, is that Anderson was turned down by a number of other networks and entertainment shows.

It’s been revealed that a number of celebrities, including  Jennifer Aniston, were victims of an alleged credit card scheme.

Maria Gabriela Perez, owner of Chez Gabriela Studio in Beverly Hills, is accused of ringing up hundreds of thousands of dollars in false charges on the credit cards of her famous clients.

During an appearance on “Good Morning America,” Aniston briefly touched on the alleged salon scam, saying there was “a situation that was not cool so I just stopped going to [Perez].”

Aniston added that she “knew something like this would eventually happen because there’s no way you can get away with that. It’s terrible.”

Liv Tyler was also reportedly ripped off by Perez. Court documents claim Tyler was bilked for $214,000.

Yesterday, Perez was charged with two counts of fraud. If convicted, she faces up to 25 years in prison.

Cyrus and Michaels, who has miraculously been touring after his near fatal brain hemorrhage, will duet on Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” which will mark the first time they sing the song live together.

Cyrus, whose appearance was announced back in April, will also perform solo on Friday.

“Jennifer Aniston is running all over NYC promoting her upcoming film The Bounty Hunter but when she went on Good Morning America Mar. 15 she totally let her fans down!” claims HollywoodLife, which couldn’t get a story right if we spotted them the R-I-G-H and even the T.

According to HollywoodLife, which rivals the “Bad News Bears” with its consistent errors, today Jennifer Aniston “zipped in and out of the Good Morning America studios Mar. 15 completely ignoring [her] fans!”

What?!

The site then accused Aniston of further dissing her fans by claiming, “You did your interview in the upstairs studio, so the crowd couldn’t watch… GMA is famous for their glass studio smack dab in the middle of Times Square so fans can watch BUT you did your interview in some off set location!”

First of all, from Aniston’s car to the studio’s door – this rainy morning – was just five steps. And who was there waiting for her? Paparazzi, professional autograph seekers and at most 30 fans, to whom she waved while smiling (see picture).

But the most ridiculous allegation is that she “did [her] interview in the upstairs studio, so the crowd couldn’t watch.”

Aniston did NOT choose which studio her interview was in. That’s completely absurd.

But, as we all now know, HollywoodLife prefers being outrageous over being accurate.

It has just been announced, “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos is officially replacing Diane Sawyer as co-anchor of “Good Morning America,” beginning this Monday. Stephanopoulos will join Robin Roberts on the morning show.

Stephanopoulos was once an adviser to President Bill Clinton.

ABC said the network would replace Stephanopoulos as host of “This Week.”

Just another reason to stay in on Friday nights.

Chris Cuomo is trading in his morning gig at “Good Morning America” to co-host the ABC evening newsmagazine “20/20.”

Cuomo will leave GMA on Friday, the same day that co-host Diane Sawyer is saying so long before taking over duties from Charlie Gibson on “World News.”

It’s expected with Cuomo’s move that the network will shortly announce that George Stephanopoulos is filling Sawyer’s seat.

You’ll recall just a few days ago Radar inaccurately reported that Cuomo had resigned from ABC, and was possibly heading to NBC’s “Dateline.” Gossip Cop, of course, busted that bad dish immediately.

The report went on to say that not only does “Cuomo’s departure [come] amid growing speculation that the Good Morning America anchor chair is going to George Stephanopoulos,” but also that the highly popular “Cuomo may be headed to NBC’s Dateline.”

Here’s what’s right: The spelling of Cuomo’s name.

Here’s what’s wrong: Everything else.

Gossip Cop hears that Radar’s report is 100 percent inaccurate. Cuomo has NOT resigned from ABC.

We’re told Radar’s false alarm has sent shock waves through the offices of ABC, which is now concerned that they may lose the respected newsman, who’s being courted by other networks.

It’s well known throughout ABC that a Cuomo departure would not only be a huge loss to the news division, but it would also take a tremendous toll on the morale of the staff, which is  quite fond of Cuomo.

Just six weeks ago, Cuomo edged out Stephanopoulos in an AOL poll which asked who should fill Diane Sawyer’s seat on GMA.

It’s been confirmed that Chris Brown will be on ABC’s “20/20″ on December 11.

In the interview, Brown will talk in-depth about his assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna, and will plug his new album “Graffiti.”

Parts of the interview will likely also air on “Good Morning America,” which this week canceled Adam Lambert’s appearance.

Already people have begun to complain about the fact that “Good Morning America” would give airtime to Brown, but not Lambert. What we can tell you is that the Brown interview was taped BEFORE Lambert’s performance at the American Music Awards.

Now, as to whether ABC give a woman beater airtime is an issue entirely unto itself, and apparently the network, which interviewed Rihanna last month, decided it was fine with them.
