Brandi Glanville may have fond memories of her “week of fun” with Gerard Butler… but the actor is drawing a blank.

Earlier this week, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star told “What What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen that she’d hooked up with Butler.

But when a TMZ cameraman mentioned to Butler that Glanville had rated him an “11 out of 10 in the lovemaking department,” the actor seemed confused.

“Who’s Brandi Glanville?” he asked.

Twice.

Well, this is interesting.

Brandi Glanville appeared on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” and made a rather startling revelation.

Host Andy Cohen asked the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star to name the most famous person with whom she’s ever hooked up (aside from ex-husband Eddie Cibrian).

And she answered… Gerard Butler.

Glanville says she and Butler enjoyed a “week of fun.”

Gerard Butler says the surfing accident that left him hospitalized two weeks ago was “a pretty close call.”

Butler was filming a stunt for Of Men and Mavericks when he was pummeled by strong waves and held underwater.

“This was maybe one of the few times that the reports were not exaggerated,” the actor says, explaining that the waves “just took me and I couldn’t get up.”

After he was rescued by a safety patrolman, Butler says he actually wanted to try the stunt again.

He reveals on Saturday’s episode of ”The Graham Norton Show,” “I was actually in the ambulance and wanted to go back, which was a little crazy, but it’s pretty addictive.”

Butler, who was later evaluated at a nearby hospital and found to be in okay condition, says the incident left him better suited for his role in the upcoming film about surfer Jay Moriarty, who died in a free-diving accident in 2001.

“Everything I talked about happening in the movie happened to me,” he says.

Gerard Butler had to be rescued from dangerous waves while surfing off the California coast on Sunday.

While filming a stunt for Of Men and Mavericks, the actor was pummeled by strong waves and held underwater.

A safety patrolman aboard a Jet Ski retrieved the star.

Butler was shaken up and taken to the hospital after the incident – but he’s OK.

“He’s fine,” a rep says in a statement. “Very scary. They brought him to Stanford University. More scary than anything. For precaution, we all wanted him checked out after it all happened. Came out with flying colors.”

Of Men and Mavericks is about surfer Jay Moriarty, who died in a free-diving accident in 2001.

“Love Is In The Air,” reads the headline of a Star magazine piece that claims “rumors of Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel hooking up as they filmed their new rom-com, Playing the Field, seem to be true.”

According to what sounds like a fabricated quote from a so-called “insider,” Biel and Butler “were often together once the cameras stopped — sometimes sharing a meal and acting quite romantic.”

(Yeah, no one really talks that way.)

Anyway, the tabloid reports it’s still on between the two co-stars, quoting its “source” as saying, “The two have definitely continued their ‘friendship’ well past filming.”

Two things are important to note here.

One, it was Star that reported back in June how “Jessica would never get into a real relationship with a playboy like Gerard,” and is only hanging out with him to “make Justin [Timberlake] jealous.”

Whoops.

And two, despite this tired rumor re-appearing over and over and over again, Biel and Butler have not been romantic.

A source close to Butler told Gossip Cop they were “simply friends working on a film together,” and a Biel confidante reiterated, “She is not dating Gerry… There is no romance.”

Actually, the only thing in the air is the smell of Star’s bad reporting.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are spending time together, as they have been repeatedly this summer.

The pair brunched at Swan in Toronto on Sunday before going for a heavily paparazzi-d bike ride.

Biel is shooting Total Recall in the city.

Timberlake and Biel called it quits last March after four years together, but have since been spotted together multiple times.

Of course, that hasn’t stopped the tabloids from (wrongly) trying to link Biel with Gerard Butler and Timberlake with everyone from Ashley Olsen to Olivia Wilde.

Jessica Biel is “using” Gerard Butler to win back Justin Timberlake, reports Star magazine.

According to a tabloid “insider,” Biel is hanging out with her Playing the Field co-star not because she enjoys his company, but because “she’s hoping her blatant flirting with him with catch Justin’s attention.”

“Jessica would never get into a real relationship with a playboy like Gerard,” explains another supposed “source,” but “she figured that seeing her with a guy like him would make Justin jealous.”

Hmm…

Sounds like the mag is simply trying to cover themselves after recently wrongly reporting the two were “getting close.”

As Gossip Cop has told you from day one, Biel and Butler are NOT romantically involved.

They’re just friends who hang out without any dramatic ulterior motives involving exes.

A source close to Biel confirms to us that the tab’s latest story is NOT true.

Jessica Biel and Gerard Butler are the subjects of a “new couple alert” issued by Perez Hilton, who says Biel “may have finally found someone to replace the Justin Timberlake size hole in her heart.”

Biel and Butler have been filming their movie Playing The Field in Louisiana, but Hilton says they’ve been acting like more than friendly co-stars.

“Maybe they are taking the state motto to heart!” declares Hilton.

Hmm.

Louisiana’s state motto is “Union, Justice and Confidence.”

We’re not really sure where Hilton was going with that one.

In any case, the blogger says Biel and Butler’s “actions around each other suggest something a bit more could be going on.” Specifically, they sat next to each other during a recent cast dinner, and they were reportedly spotted on Butler’s motorcycle over the weekend.

“Sounds like the start of something new to us!” gushes Hilton.

Actually… sounds like the same tired old wrong rumor about the pair that’s been popping up for a while.

A rep for Butler assures Gossip Cop that he and Biel are just friends.

“Jessica & Gerard GETTING CLOSE,” reads a headline from Star, recycling an old rumor that Jessica Biel and Gerard Butler are now a romantic pair.

According to a supposed “insider” for the tabloid, Butler “is crazy about Jessica and has been practically glued to her side” while they shoot their rom-com Playing the Field in Louisiana.

Biel allegedly told Butler she just wanted to “be friends” at first, which has supposedly made the actor “chase her even more.”

It’s not “an official romance yet,” says Star, but the pair has been spotted “buying sandwiches” at a local deli and doing karaoke at a nearby hotspot.

However, despite such scandalous sandwich-buying (oh, my!), the magazine’s story about a budding relationship between the co-stars is way off-base.

Butler and Biel are NOT romantically involved.

A source close to Butler tells Gossip Cop the actors are working on Playing the Field together – and that is all.

“Jessica Biel Has Been Flirting With Gerard Butler!” exclaims a headline from Perez Hilton.

According to the blogger who prints anything that comes across his desk, “Only DAYS after her split with [Justin Timberlake], Jessica Biel has been focused on flirting with hunky Gerard Butler all over Louisiana!”

He notes, “They’re shooting a movie there together, yeah, but have also been spending an awful lot of time off the set as well!”

Perez then mentions that “they were spotted at a crew member’s birthday party at a Japanese restaurant, where once Gerard arrived they couldn’t be separated,” and “a couple of nights later, they went to get some Mexican food together, slamming margaritas left and right!”

He adds, “We say they’d make a very dashing couple, that’s for sure!”

Except for one tiny thing…

Butler and Biel, who are shooting Playing the Field, were NOT flirting.

“They are simply friends working on a film together,” a source close to Butler tells Gossip Cop.

And a source close to Biel says the same, telling us, “She is NOT dating Gerry. They have only ever hung out in groups from the film,” adding, “there is no romance.”

Gerard Butler‘s latest lady friend is model Selita Ebanks, according to Life & Style.

The actor had Ebanks “on his [arm] at Madonna‘s Oscars afterparty on February 27,” leading the tab to assume that they’re an item.

The mag quotes a so-called “insider” as saying that the two are “hooking up,” although “it’s nothing serious.”

However, like Butler and Ebanks’ supposed relationship, there’s nothing serious about Life & Style‘s story.

A rep for the actor tells Gossip Cop that rumors he’s “hooking up” with Ebanks are completely “not true.”

The tabloids are so desperate to stoke drama between Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler, they’re now inventing rumors about casting.

“Jen Disses Gerard,” proclaims Star magazine, which claims Aniston “declined” Butler’s request that she play the leading lady in Consent to Kill, his upcoming thriller.

The pair worked together in The Bounty Hunter, sparking months of (wrong) romance rumors. Now Star is trying to make it seem like Aniston personally rejected Butler’s movie offer.

“Jen was flattered but said ‘no thanks,’” says an “insider” for the tab. “Bounty Hunter didn’t exactly set her career on fire.”

Star isn’t exactly “on fire” with its reporting, either. A rep for Butler tells Gossip Cop the report is “completely false.”

When Perez Hilton and Star magazine team up, it’s truly a thing of beauty.

The tabloid, which has published such ridiculous garbage about Jessica Simpson that she threatened to legally challenge them twice, now speculates that her new beau Eric Johnson is “using her” for money.

“Jessica is so starved for love, she just doesn’t see any of Eric’s faults,” claims a Star “insider.” His “faults,” apparently, are accompanying Simpson on a birthday vacation to Italy and sharing amenities.

Hilton can’t wait to pipe up, taking Star‘s story and insisting Simpson is “usually unlucky in love!” After regurgitating the tab’s story about Johnson and Simpson’s fancy trip, the blogger buys into the notion that the former football player is “just using her.”

“Smart guy, ha!” chortles Hilton. “But will Jess catch on??”

But will Jess catch on?

Um, Hilton recently reported that Jack Nicholson was pursuing Simpson. He’s also tied her (wrongly) to Taylor Kitsch. And to Gerard Butler.

So maybe it’s the blogger who should “catch on” and realize he has no idea what he’s talking about with Simpson.

Maybe Simpson had Johnson come with her to Italy… because she likes him. As a source close to Simpson tells Gossip Cop, she’s a “savvy woman and knows who to trust and who not to, and so far Eric’s been a good guy.”

As usual, Star and Hilton have plopped themselves far from logic in order to brew scandal.

It’s almost as though OK! magazine is trying to break an unofficial record for misleading stories about Jennifer Aniston starting a family.

Last September, the tab claimed an “exclusive” and declared Aniston was pregnant. She wasn’t.

By April, she’d supposedly decided to have a baby with Gerard Butler. Also not true.

In June, OK! “revealed” that she’d be announcing baby news in an upcoming interview. Nope.

Then the magazine insisted the actress had devised a “baby strategy.” Shockingly, it was wrong.

“Jen’s A Mom!” OK! blares on its current cover in another so-called “exclusive.”

Of course, the accompanying article is anything but exclusive or revealing.

It mostly discusses Aniston’s emerging romance with Chris Gartin, who happens to have two children from a previous marriage.

“She’s trying to be nice and win them over,” says a “source close to the situation.” “She says it’s like a dream come true,” reports a different “source,” who explains, “She has been wanting a family for so long, not to mention a loving relationship, and now she has both, practically overnight.”

Of course, no one wants Aniston to have a family as badly as OK!, which has been spreading varying rumors about her impending motherhood for months. And while her comfort with Gartin’s daughter Sydney and son Flynn is nice, Aniston’s evolving relationship with their dad is the article’s actual focus.

Look for more stories of the actress “playing mom,” as OK! continues to “play reporter,” giving Aniston children by any means necessary to fit their endless campaign.

“Yes! I Am Having A Baby,” screams the Jennifer Aniston cover of OK! magazine, which promises “A sneak peek at the interview everybody will be talking about.”

According to OK!, “Jen is finally telling the world that she’s taking the plunge into real-life motherhood,” and she revealed this scoop in a “startling frank interview for a fall issue of a monthly U.S.-based women’s magazine.”

Like the unnamed U.S.-based magazine, OK! quotes an unnamed source who claims, “Jennifer says in the interview that she will do everything in her power to have a baby ‘as soon as possible,’ and she says she is ready for that now.”

The so-called “source” continues, “This is really her public announcement that she is emotionally ready for children. She doesn’t get into specifics beyond saying how much she wants to be a mother – and that she’s actually exploring how she can do that.”

Although the tab says Aniston might adopt, it also has an alleged “insider” saying, “Privately, Jennifer maintains she would prefer to have a baby with the man of her dreams,” and lists as possible candidates “her latest Mr. Right” Jason Sudeikis and her “Mr. Yesterday” Gerard Butler.

Enough already!

Aniston NEVER dated Butler. And she is NOT dating Sudeikis.

More importantly, Aniston didn’t speak to a magazine about wanting to have a baby.

In fact, her rep tells Gossip Cop, “She did not give an interview to any magazine… this is just more BS from OK!“

Aniston, however, did pose for photos for the September issue of a magazine, but the accompanying quotes – which have yet to be given – will pay tribute to an icon.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first or second time OK! has been wrong about Aniston and babies.

The “Friends” star isn’t planning to have a baby any more now than she was when the magazine falsely claimed she was “pregnant at 40″ on a cover last September or when it inaccurately declared on a April cover that “she’s choosing bad boy Gerard make her dream come true.”

“Jennifer Aniston is saying aloha to Hollywood!” declares the National Enquirer, the same publication that reported she was going to write a cookbook (wrong), drunk dialed Angelina Jolie (wrong), and asked Gerard Butler to move in with her (wrong).

So what do the tab’s impeccable (cough) sources say this time?

They claim the “love-starved former ‘Friends’ star” plans “to make a new start in Hawaii,” following the advice of Oprah Winfrey.

Aniston is buying a home on Maui “in the hope that the change of scenery will recharge her personal and professional life,” encouraged by Oprah’s endorsement of Hawaii as the “land of new starts.”

According to a “close pal,” the actress fell in love with the “island vibe” after filming Just Go With It there.

“Just go with it” also seems to be the Enquirer‘s guiding principle when it comes to printing Aniston “news.”

Aniston is “not buying a home in Hawaii and has no plans to live there,” her rep tells Gossip Cop.

“Gerard Butler Is One Loyal Guy… At Least When It Comes To His Wardrobe!” exclaims HollywoodLife.com.

Brace yourselves.

The accuracy-challenged site goes on to state, “He may not be able to commit to one lady, but that isn’t the case with his fave pair of jeans!”

Really?

According to HollywoodLife, Butler “loves re-wearing his fave pair of jeans over and over again,” adding, “On three different occasions, March 17, 21, and 31, Gerard turned up sporting his PRPS Barracuda jeans.”

We have a hard enough time understanding HollywoodLife’s big blunders, like the site’s claim that Kim Kardashian is doing a dating show, but this story required nothing more than looking at the pictures.

As opposed to HollywoodLife’s contention that Butler wore his “fave pair of jeans” on “three different occasions,” the jeans on the far right — with the hole on the left pant leg — are clearly different from the other two jeans.

And the first and second pair are two different colors.

HollywoodLife says the jeans have experience “wear and tear” but usually the older jeans get the lighter they become – not darker.

Whoops.

Well, the story is completely wrong, but we do hope the site’s staffers score some free Barracuda jeans out of it.

Just when it didn’t seem like the absurd non-saga of Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler could take another turn, along comes OK! magazine.

“Confirmed: Finally, A Baby For Jen” announces the cover, promising to explain “Why she’s choosing bad boy Gerard to make her dream come true.” The photo shows Butler holding Aniston, and Aniston holding her belly.

That makes it pretty clear where OK! is heading. According to the tab, Aniston is either pregnant (or soon to be pregnant), courtesy of a handpicked Butler.

Unfortunately, the editors can’t seem to decide which it is.

While Aniston and Butler promoted The Bounty Hunter in Madrid on March 30, fans “started buzzing” about “the gleam in Jen’s eye, her easy, confident glow and her hand resting on her not-so-flat tummy.”

So she has a bump and a glow… that means she’s (supposedly) pregnant, right?

Not exactly. A “source” close to the actress tells OK! Aniston recently had a “heart-to-heart” with friends and relatives and “admitted this is the year she’s going to become a mom.”

Hmm. So did fans see a… practice glow and practice baby bump in Madrid?

We’re confused. Either she is or she isn’t pregnant. What, then, was “confirmed,” as the magazine’s cover advertises?

Absolutely nothing.

Just “friends” of the actress claiming, “This is the year.”

What about the declaration that Butler is going to be the father?

Another empty premise.

OK! mashes together old press junket quotes in which Aniston calls Butler “pleasant to be around,” Butler’s recent casual comment that he’d “definitely like kids some day,” and a so-called “insider” saying, “Jen adores Gerry and thinks he’d make a perfect father.”

Not a single shred of evidence Aniston and Butler have decided to be parents together.

We doubt the tab itself even believes what it’s selling, because it then adds, “Whether Gerard’s in the picture or not, certainly, Jen has options,” discussing her support of a Mexican orphanage and research she did for her artificially inseminated character in The Switch.

To recap…

OK! cover: Jennifer Aniston is definitely having a baby, and Gerard Butler will be the father.

OK! story: Aniston might be pregnant. She might not be pregnant. She might have a baby with Butler. She might adopt. She may go for artificial insemination.

The only thing “confirmed” here is that the tab doesn’t have a clue about Aniston’s future.

And oh yeah, Aniston is not pregnant with anyone’s baby.

Addressing Jennifer Aniston, as if she would ever read HollywoodLife’s drivel, the silly site asks, “Jen, Does It Bug You That Gerard Took Another Woman On A Romantic Date In Paris?”

The site, of course, is referring to Gerard Butler being spotted the other day walking hand-in-hand in Paris with Laurie Cholewa, a local TV reporter, with whom he dined a deux and visited some of the City of Lights’ sites, including the Louvre museum.

Unwilling, however, to admit that for months they have been 100 PERCENT WRONG about Aniston and Butler being a couple, HollywoodLife ridiculously continues, “It sounds like Gerard has totally moved on… but has Jen?”

 According to HollywoodLife, “After enjoying a romantic dinner with Jennifer Aniston on the Seine river March 27, Gerard stepped out with a new woman for a day-long date just a few days later.”

“A romantic dinner with Jennifer Aniston?” There were 20 other people at that meal in late March.

“A new woman”? Butler NEVER dated Aniston.

At the end of this, once again, misguided post, HollywoodLife foolishly asks, “Could it to be totally over for Jen & Gerard?”

Um, it NEVER even started, but the site steadfastly refuses to admit they have been WRONG over and over.

Since HollywoodLife is so fixated on questions (because they apparently often don’t have the real answers), we thought we’d pose one, too.

Is HollywoodLife’s insistence that Butler and Aniston dated because they’re dumb, delusional or desperate?

Maybe a certain spottily reported site calls itself HollywoodLife precisely because it just won’t let anything die, especially its way off-base stories.

About three weeks ago, HollywoodLife mistook photos of Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler at Heathrow Airport in London to be a sign of a secret “romantic rendezvous.” (Uh, the two flew into London for the film’s premiere there. Whoops.)

The guffaw-inducing gaffe was followed the very next day by a piece in which the site gushed, “The PDA [on the red carpet] makes you wonder … The Bounty Hunter costars HAVE TO BE romantically involved!”

“HAVE TO BE”?

The writer of that post went on to ridiculously state that people who think Aniston and Butler were “just promoting their movie and aren’t dating at ALL… don’t know what chemistry looks like!” 

Gossip Cop has developed a serious case of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome repeatedly busting HollywoodLife’s craptastic reporting, while noting all along the two co-stars are just friends.

Fast-forward to today’s offering from HollywoodLife.

In a piece titled, “Jen, Gerard Is Finally Coming Clean About Your Relationship!” HollywoodLife laughably writes, “Gerard Butler has finally fessing (sic) up about his alleged romance with Jennifer Aniston - and claims that he and his The Bounty Hunter co-star are, well, just friends.”

“Finally Coming Clean”?

“Finally fessing up”?

Have we not said they’re “just friends” since the rumor began floating last July?

Even after HollywoodLife quotes Butler telling a radio show this morning, “If I was going out with Jennifer, I’d be more than happy to share with the world that I’m going out with Jennifer, but it’s just not true,” the site still won’t let it die.

The bad blog writes, “So Gerard, what you’re telling us is that Jen’s sexy salsa dance after the Madrid premiere of The Bounty Hunter did nothing for you, and that your romantic boat ride down the Seine in Paris March 27 was strictly platonic? We wonder if Jen, 41, agrees!”

Actually, she does – and again, we’ve been saying the same thing for months!

Unable to leave bad enough alone, HollywoodLife wishingly concludes, “There’s still hope for Gerard and Jen.”

While one could argue whether “there’s still hope for Gerard and Jen,” it’s obvious there’s no hope for HollywoodLife.

Why does Us Weekly call its gossip section “Hot Stuff” when it serves rumors that seem to be cold?

The mag catches up with the pack today by printing the millionth piece claiming Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have been “hooking up.” According to the tab, The Bounty Hunter‘s two leads, “despite denials,” are “pals with perks!”

As evidence, it cites the duo’s cruise down the Seine in Paris (the one with 20 other people) and Butler grabbing Aniston’s “fanny” that same night (at least Us Weekly has the sense to use an appropriate photograph here, unlike certain outlets). The mag even revives last month’s wrong rumor about Butler and Aniston getting frisky while on her vacation trip to Mexico.

But there’s nothing new here to prove the two are “friends with benefits,” as a so-called “Aniston insider” professes.

It’s just the same old stories, cobbled together and packaged to look like, well, “hot stuff.”

When Gossip Cop asked a rep for Butler about this latest microwaving of old claims, we were told, “Nothing has changed.”

The (ahem) “crack” investigative team over at HollywoodLife has another mystery to solve.

Where did Gerard Butler‘s hand go?

“If Gerry really is playing hide-and-go-seek with his paw,” titters the site, “it’s no wonder Jennifer Aniston looks so happy!”

To illustrate the Case of the Missing Hand, HollywoodLife runs a photo of the two stars at The Bounty Hunter‘s Berlin premiere. “Hmmm… where could it be?” blushes the puzzled post before offering this theory: “While we can’t confirm that [Gerry] is goosing [Jen], we can only imagine that his paw might have strayed to her bum.”

Hmmm, indeed.

Because while HollywoodLife has to ask, “Gerard Butler, Where IS Your Hand You Naughty Boy?,” Gossip Cop — and anyone else who actually looks – has the answer.

It’s on Aniston’s waist.

Unless the actress has a peculiar (and heretofore unreported) growth… those are Butler’s fingers — visible — on her waist.

Again, this is the photo HollywoodLife chose to run for the sole purpose of pretending “naughty” Butler is sticking his fingers where they cannot be seen.

Wow.

You’ll recall that just a few days ago, the site had another misadventure with photography, posting an upskirt of Courteney Cox, highlighting an intimate area, and describing it with the tact and confusion of an elementary schooler.

“Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler just can’t help but fuel those romance rumors!” declares Showbiz Spy, among a host of sites breathing heavily this morning after the co-stars of The Bounty Hunter promoted the film in Paris on Saturday.

Citing a People.com item about Aniston and Butler’s trip down the Seine, outlets like Showbiz Spy focus on how “friendly and flirty” the two were on their “private Parisian cruise.”

Except that it wasn’t a “private” cruise.

Aniston and Butler were joined by twenty guests, with everyone dining around a single long table.

Interesting how those details didn’t make it into the second- and third-hand accounts saturating cyberspace.

We guess some sites “just can’t help but fuel” romance rumors.

How to Train Your Dragon has won the weekend box office.

The animated feature is on track for $43.3 million in its opening three days. It features the voices of Gerard Butler, Jay Baruchel, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, and others.

The film took down Alice in Wonderland, which won each of its first three weekends after release. The Johnny Depp 3D extravaganza slipped to second place with $17.3 million.

Another major opening, Hot Tub Time Machine, brought in $13.7 million to finish at #3, trailed by holdovers The Bounty Hunter and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

As for The Runaways with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, the rock pic tracked strongly ahead of its wide release on April 9.

It earned $1,878 per screen.

“Gerard Butler has turned his attentions to Hollywood actress Kate Hudson,” reports the Daily Mail, picking up a story about how the two stars met back in January.

According to the paper’s so-called source, the two “hooked up” before she left L.A. to shoot a flick in Louisiana, and Butler’s been saying “that of all the women he’s been with lately Kate was by far and away the most fun.” 

The tab’s source further claims, “He’s been calling and texting to ask if they can meet when she’s back in LA. She’s playing hard to get, which makes him keener.”

This is all very interesting, but not remotely accurate.

Besides Gossip Cop eyewitnessing Butler on several occasions not looking all hung up on Hudson, a source close to the actor said this latest tale is “crap.”

It looks like early projections for the weekend box office will hold.

Numbers are not yet final, but Alice in Wonderland should win with (roughly) $33 million.

Johnny Depp and elevated 3D ticket prices have powered Tim Burton‘s Alice to the #1 spot in each of its three weeks.

Meanwhile, it appears popular book adaptation Diary of a Wimpy Kid ($22.5 million) will edge the Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler romantic action-comedy The Bounty Hunter ($21 million) for second place.

The Jude Law sci-fi flick Repo Men will open with about $6 million, which would be very, very close to holdovers She’s Out of My League and Green Zone.

The Runaways bowed in more limited release.

First projections for the three-day weekend period for the rock biopic are at about $803,000 in 244 theaters.

It works out to a healthy $3,291-per screen average for the Kristen Stewart-Dakota Fanning movie.

That figure tops Repo Men, She’s Out of My League, Green Zone, Avatar, and others, finishing behind only the weekend’s top three films and special releases like Hubble 3D.

“Jennifer Aniston is running all over NYC promoting her upcoming film The Bounty Hunter but when she went on Good Morning America Mar. 15 she totally let her fans down!” claims HollywoodLife, which couldn’t get a story right if we spotted them the R-I-G-H and even the T.

According to HollywoodLife, which rivals the “Bad News Bears” with its consistent errors, today Jennifer Aniston “zipped in and out of the Good Morning America studios Mar. 15 completely ignoring [her] fans!”

What?!

The site then accused Aniston of further dissing her fans by claiming, “You did your interview in the upstairs studio, so the crowd couldn’t watch… GMA is famous for their glass studio smack dab in the middle of Times Square so fans can watch BUT you did your interview in some off set location!”

First of all, from Aniston’s car to the studio’s door – this rainy morning – was just five steps. And who was there waiting for her? Paparazzi, professional autograph seekers and at most 30 fans, to whom she waved while smiling (see picture).

But the most ridiculous allegation is that she “did [her] interview in the upstairs studio, so the crowd couldn’t watch.”

Aniston did NOT choose which studio her interview was in. That’s completely absurd.

But, as we all now know, HollywoodLife prefers being outrageous over being accurate.
