George Clooney allowed CBS cameras inside his Los Angeles house for “Person to Person,” a revived series from the 1950s in which celebrities are interviewed (via satellite) in their homes.

The Oscar nominee strolled through various rooms and answered questions from Charlie Rose and Lara Logan about the residence, its contents, and his life.

Stacy Keibler does not appear – but an adorable dog does.

George Clooney’s girlfriend Stacy Keibler is “dead set against living in the Oscar winner’s vacation villa on Lake Como [Italy] because he played house there with his ex-galpal Elisabetta Canalis,” reports the National Enquirer.

A so-called “source” for the tabloid claims, “Stacy has been to Como for a short trip, but she told George, ‘It’s Italy or me’ with respect to living there — and she means it!”

Explains the alleged insider, “She thinks it’s creepy staying in the home he shared with former girlfriends,” adding, “Stacy wants them to either build or buy a remote, private house together in Mexico.”

And Keibler supposedly “told George to find another girlfriend if he can’t deliver,” notes the source.

Uhh…

So what about all the other Clooney girlfriends before Canalis who stayed in his various homes? Is Keibler refusing to stay in those houses as well? Will she demand he build or buy a new place in every single city?

This story makes ZERO sense.

In any case, a source close to Keibler tells Gossip Cop the story is 100% FALSE.

Earlier this month, Us Weekly published a bogus report claiming that George Clooney “doesn’t like” Angelina Jolie, and that Jolie supposedly snubbed Clooney’s girlfriend Stacy Keibler on a recent flight.

The rumored group tension seemed to come out of nowhere, because, in fact, it came out of nowhere.

As Gossip Cop reported, there have been no bad feelings or uncomfortableness between Jolie and either Clooney or Keibler.

When the trio and Brad Pitt posed happily for photographs at Sunday’s SAG Awards, Us Weekly could have simply acknowledged that the quartet was having a good time at the event.

Instead, the outlet doubled down, deeming the pictures “awkward” and repeating the wrong allegations about Jolie and Keibler’s supposedly chilly jet trip.

As a close friend of Keibler tells Gossip Cop, it could not be further from the truth.

Jolie is “nothing but warm and wonderful to Stacy,” we’re told, and the feelings are mutual.

Us Weekly‘s characterization of the happy quartet as “awkward” is, like those previous stories, “100% false.”

Looking at the pictures from Sunday (another is below), it’s hard to disagree.

The Grey, the survival thriller starring Liam Neeson and a pack of wolves, is expected to win the weekend box office with approximately $18 million.

That total would put it ahead of One For The Money (starring Katherine Heigl) and last week’s champ, Underworld: Awakening, both of which are tracking toward $12 million in receipts.

Another holdover, Red Tails, is projected to take fourth place with $9 million.

Sam Worthington’s Man on a Ledge, meanwhile, is debuting to a tough fight for #5. Early estimates put it at $6.5 million, which is also the projection for Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, and not too far ahead of Contraband.

The Descendants, featuring an Oscar-nominated performance from George Clooney, is expected to take $5.5 million.

The chart rounds out with Beauty and the Beast 3D ($4.5 million) and Haywire ($3 million).

“A furious George Clooney cursed out his Ides of March co-star Ryan Gosling for blowing off the Golden Globes,” begins a breathless piece from the National Enquirer.

The mag claims that even though Gosling had a legitimate excuse to miss the show — he was filming Only God Forgives in Thailand — Clooney was still miffed about his absence.

According to so-called “sources” for the supermarket tabloid, Clooney “fumed to a group of showbiz execs in the lobby of the Beverly Hilton hotel following the Jan. 15 awards show,” allegedly ranting, “Ryan Gosling is a (bleep)! The (bleep) stood me up!”

The Enquirer notes that The Descendants star laughed off Gosling’s absence to reporters, joking that “he’s in Thailand… you know what you do in Thailand,” but claims that Clooney’s “jovial manner disappeared as soon as he was out of the spotlight.”

Another supposed “insider” for the tab blares, ”George called him every name in the book!”

Wow, that expression is almost as lame as this story.

Clooney was well aware ahead of time that Gosling would be missing the Globes to film his new movie, and was neither shocked nor angry about his co-star’s non-appearance.

Brad Pitt is thrilled about his Best Actor nomination for this year’s Academy Awards – and also excited for two of his close buddies.

“I’m so happy for Jonah Hill, I can’t tell you,” Pitt said of his Moneyball co-star, a Best Supporting Actor nominee, during a phone call to the “Today Show” on Tuesday.

Pitt will be going head-to-head with old friend George Clooney in his own category.

Does it feel weird?

“Absolutely not,” said Pitt. “It’s more fun to have a friend there. No one does it better than George. I say give him all the trophies, and when you run out of trophies, make some new ones and give him those, too.”

Pitt calls his Best Actor nod a “great honor,” and is especially gratified considering Moneyball was “dead on the rocks just two years ago.”

His immediate celebration plans at his house on Tuesday were simple and sweet: “Pancakes for everyone!”

The rumor mill recently put George Clooney in phony film collaborations and fake feuds, and now the star is being advertised for bogus appearances.

A widely circulated press release claims Clooney will be at the “All Star Comedy/Variety Show” charity event in Burbank, California on Saturday.

The event, which charges $10.00 at the door, promises that “more than a dozen of LA’s top name-talent will perform.”

But the Clooney billing is 100% bogus.

He will NOT be there.

“George has no idea who these people are,” his rep tells Gossip Cop.

“Angelina Snubs Stacy,” reads a headline from Us Weekly, which goes on to claim that Angelina Jolie was extremely rude to George Clooney’s girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, when the couple shared a private jet with Jolie and Brad Pitt to the Palm Springs Film Festival on January 7.

According to a source for the mag, “Angelina refused to acknowledge that Stacy was even on the plane.”

The supposed insider notes that Jolie “went out of her way to ignore her from takeoff to landing,” adding, “She would not even look Stacy’s way. She was not having it!”

Another “insider” chimes in that it’s no surprise Jolie “iced out” Keibler, because “Angie is really not a girlie girl.”

Uh-huh.

Keep in mind that this is the same publication which reported that Clooney “doesn’t like” Jolie, even though the actor himself told the mag there was “not one word of truth” to the claim.

And who is this supposed “insider” providing observations from the private plane ride? The pilot?

Just like the mag’s claims about Clooney allegedly hating Jolie, this tale about the actress snubbing Keibler is… full of hot air.

A source close to Keibler tells Gossip Cop the story is “totally false.”

According to Us Weekly, George Clooney “doesn’t like” Angelina Jolie.

The magazine reports that the Golden Globe winner “thinks Angelina is boring and not great company.”

What’s more, says Us, “He does not like to spend time with her,” and prefers hanging alone with Jolie’s partner, Brad Pitt.

Not exactly.

Clooney’s response to the reporting, obtained by Gossip Cop, is quite direct.

He says the mag’s story was made ”from whole cloth with not one word of truth in it.”

The publication has been wrong about Clooney in the past, and it looks like the actor is growing weary of the magazine writing about him.

Backstage at the Golden Globes on Sunday, we asked the Best Actor winner about the absurdities of the celebrity rumor mill.

“It’s really sort of every day now,” said Clooney of the baseless gossip.

The A-lister appreciates what Gossip Cop is doing.

“Three big cheers to George Clooney, who’s throwing a lifeline to doom-plagued wild child Lindsay Lohan,” begins a piece in the National Enquirer.

The supermarket tabloid claims Clooney agreed to put Lohan in an upcoming film production after her agent contacted him about the two stars working together.

“He said, ‘I would work with her. She’s talented and could use a break,” a so-called “source” tells the magazine.

Clooney supposedly even said he’d be willing to fight insurance companies, which might be reluctant to cover the trouble-prone actress.

“He’d like to give Lindsay a hand up,” the tab’s insider explains.

So, when does the movie start filming?

How about a week from… NEVER.

A rep for Clooney tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer‘s story is “completely made up.”

Who would you most want to kiss at midnight on New Year’s Eve?

The OMG! celeb site on Yahoo! polled more than 1,000 readers for a Hollywood Holiday Survey – and the results are pretty interesting.

On the question of which male celebrity respondents would most like to smooch on New Year’s Eve, George Clooney tops the list, with 28% of the vote, just beating Johnny Depp (27%).

Ryan Reynolds came in third with 18%, ahead of Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling, who rounded out the Top 5 with 12% and 7%, respectively.

As for the ladies, 22% of the men polled picked Jennifer Aniston as the number one celeb they’d like to ring in the New Year with a kiss.

Aniston edged out Halle Berry with 18% and Scarlett Johansson with a close 17%.

Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox took fourth and fifth places with 13% and 12%, respectively.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 won the top spot at the box office for the third weekend straight, topping a slew of family films.

Breaking Dawn took in $16.9 million, beating second place finisher The Muppets ($11.2 million), and Hugo ($7.6 million), which secured third.

Arthur Christmas and Happy Feet 2 came in fourth and fifth places with $7.4 million and $6 million, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 were  Adam Sandler in Jack and Jill ($5.5 million), George Clooney in The Descendants ($5.2 million), Immortals ($4.4 million), Tower Heist ($4.1 million), and Puss in Boots ($3.1 million).

There’s bad news for fans of Christian Bale‘s take on Batman.

The actor’s third appearance as the comic book hero, in 2012′s The Dark Knight Rises, will almost certainly be his last.

Bale revealed his intentions to hang up the cape in comments this week to a newspaper in the Philippines.

“I wrapped a few days ago, so that will be the last time I’m taking that cowl off,” said the star of director Christopher Nolan‘s Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

He continued, “I believe that the whole production wrapped yesterday, so it’s all done. Everything’s finished. It’s me and Chris – that will be the end of that Batman era.”

Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney each played Batman on the big screen before Bale.

Recently, tabloids have assumed that Sandra Bullock must be devastated over Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively dating.

OK! magazine wrongly claims she reacted by getting a “new face.”

And now the National Enquirer, which this past summer said Bullock was “primed for a passionate love affair” with George Clooney and addicted to chewing tobacco, argues that the actress has hit “rock bottom,” and is even turning down work because she’s so upset over Reynolds and Lively.

“The Oscar winner suffered an emotional breakdown” after hearing about the new couple, claims the Enquirer, with a so-called “insider” describing Bullock as “reeling.”

The “insider” explains, “At one point, I’m sure she thought maybe she and Ryan had a chance at love and started looking at him as potential husband material.”

Now supposedly heartbroken again, Bullock is said to have retreated from the world, including possibly starring in Clint Eastwood‘s film Trouble with the Curve.

“She’s not in a good head space right now, and the last thing she wants is to dive into an emotionally wrenching, high-profile movie,” explains the “insider.”

Enough already.

As Gossip Cop has reported for months, Bullock and Reynolds are friends – and were never romantically involved.

Linking her professional decisions to non-existent jealousy is silly.

Claiming the single mom is undergoing an “emotional breakdown” because of Blake Lively is even more ridiculous, but, sadly, not surprising for a publication that’s been so wrong, so often about Bullock.

A source close to the actress tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer story is “completely wrong.”

Stacy Keibler says “it’s love” with George Clooney after her injured man toughed it out and went with her to a Baltimore Ravens football game on Sunday.

The couple attended the clash between Kiebler’s hometown Ravens, for whom she used to be a cheerleader, and Clooney’s beloved Cincinnati Bengals – even though his arm was in a sling after an operation.

“You [know] it’s love when your boyfriend has elbow surgery 2 days ago and takes u to a #ravens game… especially when he’s a Bengals fan,” tweeted Keibler.

Clooney was all smiles – despite the bum elbow and a Bengals loss – in a photo he took with former Baltimore lineman Jonathan Ogden.

As expected, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 dominated the box office.

The movie debuted to $72 million on Friday, the second-biggest single-day opening in history, and has taken in $139.5 million in the U.S. for the weekend.

That total includes the $30.25 million “midnight” screenings haul Breaking Dawn earned before dawn broke.

Internationally, the film has topped $144 million for a combined $283.5 million.

This is already quite a coup, considering Gossip Cop sources tell us the film’s budget was $110 million.

Coming in a distant second this weekend was Happy Feet Two with $21.8 million.

Nabbing third was Immortals with $12.5 million in ticket sales.

Jack and Jill and Puss in Boots secured fourth and fifth places with $12.3 million and $10.9 million, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Tower Heist ($7.2 million), Leonardo DiCaprio‘s J. Edgar ($6.6 million), A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas ($3.2 million), In Time ($2 million), and George Clooney drama The Descendants ($1.1 million in limited release).

Outlets everywhere have picked up a report that claims George Clooney is fighting to play late Apple founder Steve Jobs in an upcoming movie.

According to Now magazine, which started the rumor, Clooney is “battling it out” with his onetime “ER” co-star Noah Wyle to portray the technology and business legend, who died last month.

Wyle had the role of Jobs in the 1999 television movie Pirates of Silicon Valley.

But don’t expect there to be any clash between the former TV doctors over a potential big-screen Jobs biopic.

When asked whether there was any truth to the rumor, a rep for Clooney told Gossip Cop, “Nope.”

The National Enquirer claims George Clooney gave Stacy Keibler crabs.

According to the tabloid, Clooney surprised Keibler with the shellfish on their recent vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

He supposedly had a crate of fresh Maryland crabs shipped from her hometown (Baltimore) for a “special candlelit dinner,” and his “gesture put the 32-year-old stunner in the mood for love.”

A so-called “source” says that Keibler was “over the moon” with Clooney’s crabs, adding, “As a matter of fact, Stacy prefers crabs as a gift over roses or expensive jewelry. She was amazed that George had made such a big effort to impress her.”

Indeed, it’s always romantic when Maryland meets Mexico!

But is there any actual truth to the shellfish shipment story?

Gossip Cop investigated the crab claim, and a source close to the actor tells us it’s “not true.”

Spinning off from Shrek, the Antonio Banderas-voiced character took in $34 million, breaking a Halloween weekend record. Saw 3 had previously held the title with $33.6 million.

Last week’s champ, Paranormal Activity 3, came in second with $18.5 million.

The Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried sci-fi flick In Time nabbed third with $12 million.

Footloose and Johnny Depp‘s The Rum Diary took fourth and fifth places with $5.4 million and $5 million, respectively.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Real Steel ($4.9 million), The Three Musketeers ($3.5 million), George Clooney‘s The Ides of March ($2.9 million), Brad Pitt‘s Moneyball ($2.5 million), and Courageous ($1.9 million).

Paranormal Activity 3 scared up $54 million in theaters, making it the biggest opening of all time for a horror film, as well as the best ever October debut.

Real Steel and teen dance rebellion Footloose came in a distant second and third with $11.3 million and $10.9 million, respectively.

New release Three Musketeers 3D wound up in fourth place with $8.8 million, followed by George Clooney‘s political drama The Ides of March, which nabbed the fifth spot with $4.9 million.

Rounding out the Top Ten were Dolphin Tale ($4.2 million), Moneyball ($4.1 million), Jonnny English Reborn ($3.8 million), The Thing ($3.1 million) and 50/50 ($2.8 million).

Elisabetta Canalis is no longer with George Clooney or on the show “Dancing with the Stars,” but it doesn’t mean she’s not still very desirable.

Canalis went out on a date last night with “True Blood” star Mehcad Brooks, a source close to the Italian beauty confirms to Gossip Cop.

Canalis and Brooks enjoyed a dinner for two at the L.A. hotspot STK.

They even drove off together in Brooks’ car after their date.

A rep for Canalis could not be reached for comment.

“Famine” has killed 30,000 children in just three months in Somalia, and stars including Colin Farrell and Rob Lowe want to help spread the word about the food crisis happening in the Horn of Africa.

The Hollywood figures are joined by politicians like Mike Bloomberg and Mike Huckabee.

Elisabetta Canalis is “at war” with George Clooney and his new girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, according to Us Weekly.

The magazine says the just-dismissed “Dancing with the Stars” contestant has been sending the new couple “nasty” text messages, angry that Clooney didn’t tell her about Keibler before she read it in the press.

Canalis was “disgusted” by the Keibler news and supposedly told Clooney off via “angry text messages,” claims Us.

Allegedly, Clooney and Keibler’s public outings are only further infuriating Canalis.

“It stung being dumped, and now he’s taking Stacy everywhere,” explains a so-called “insider,” who says Canalis “was embarrassed and upset. She sent those texts in the heat of the moment.”

Uh-huh.

Oddly, Us Weekly doesn’t seem to know what any of these “texts” actually say, which could be because they don’t exist.

A rep for Canalis calls the story “100% untrue,” noting that she “hasn’t been texting, calling her ex about anything.”

But even better, Clooney himself tells Gossip Cop, “The story running in the current issue of Us Weekly about Elli and Stacy was completely fabricated in order to sell magazines. I never comment on my personal life unless it affects others… and this lie affects others. Since I would be the only actual witness, I ask you correct  your story immediately, but that would assume you cared at all about telling the truth.”

George Clooney graces the cover of this week’s Parade, and admits that after turning 50 in May, he got a subscription to the mature people’s mag, AARP.

He tells Parade, getting a subscription to AARP “shocked me,” jokingly adding, “‘Are you kidding?’ I told them they should do ‘The Sexiest Man Still Alive.’”

But the actor, who can be seen in The Ides of March, is philosophical about growing older.

Clooney says, “I find that as you get older, you start to simplify things in general… You have some idea of who your friends are, at least.”

Nor is he concerned about aging on-camera.

The Oscar winner explains, “I look at myself on-screen and go, ‘I don’t look like I did when I was 40 — I know that.’ The people I’ve respected most in the industry over the years — Paul Newman, for instance. I just loved the way he handled growing old on-screen. It’s understanding that you’re now basically a character actor.”

One thing that will never grow old with Clooney is his love for pranks.

“You set a bit of a trap and then you watch it slowly unfold. I’ve had ones that have taken years,” he says.

Clooney recalls, “I took a painting out of the trash once, and I put it up on an easel in my house and got some paints, and I convinced one of my best friends, Richard Kind, that I was painting. I bought some other pictures, I told him I was studying art. And then for his 40th birthday I gave him this horrible painting. He had to hang it on his wall, [it was by] his best friend! And for years people would come over — everyone else knew it was out of the trash — and go, ‘That is a beautiful painting.’ And he was convinced by the end that it was a beautiful painting. Until I did The Tonight Show, I think, and told the story and then I told him to watch the show. And he said, ‘I hate that painting.’”
