There will be no funeral for Gary Coleman.

Robert Jeffs, the independent attorney appointed as the special administrator of Coleman’s estate, says the former child star will not have funeral services, as specified in his 2005 will.

Coleman’s remains are to be cremated, although it has not been determined when.

In a 1999 will, the actor expressed a desire to be remembered in a wake by people without financial ties to him, who “can look each other in the eyes and say they really cared personally for Gary Coleman.”

Coleman died on May 28.

A new report claims Gary Coleman specifically directed that he NOT be removed from life support in legal documents from 2006.

Ex-wife Shannon Price authorized doctors to “pull the plug” on Coleman last month before posing with his dying body for photographs later sold to a tabloid.

But according to TMZ, documents Price filed as part of the fight over Coleman’s estate include a “health care power of attorney,” signed by Coleman, that states, “I want my life to be prolonged as long as possible within the limits of generally acceptable health care standards.”

The box marked “Choice to Prolong Life” is checked.

The box marked “Choice Not to Prolong Life” is NOT checked.

Price contends she was “forced” to discontinue Coleman’s life support following the injuries that led to his coma last month.

UPDATE – 8:37 p.m.

What will happen with Gary Coleman’s assets and remains is still in dispute.

Both Coleman’s ex-wife, Shannon Price, and ex-girlfriend, Anna Gray, contend that they are the rightful executor of his estate.

Today, a Utah judge ruled that Coleman’s remains should not be cremated until Gray can get from Oregon to Utah to see the deceased star one last time.

The judge also appointed an independent attorney to oversee Coleman’s assets and cremation until the dispute between Price and Gray, who was named in Coleman’s 2005 will, is resolved.

As of now, “The Diff’rent Strokes” star will not be cremated until at least Wednesday.

Gary Coleman‘s former manager and friend, Dion Mial, will exit the battle brewing over the late actor’s estate.

An attorney for Mial says he will not longer seek to be named the estate’s special administrator after a challenge from Coleman’s ex-wife, Shannon Price.

A will written in 1999 gave Mial the position, which determines what happens with former TV star Coleman’s assets.

Last week, Coleman’s former girlfriend Anna Gray filed documents claiming she’d been named administrator in a 2005 will.

Someone has sold a tabloid pictures of Gary Coleman as he lay in his hospital bed while sustained by breathing tubes.

Shockingly, there’s even a shot of Coleman dead after he was removed from life support.

Who’s behind these gruesome photos, depicting Coleman’s final moments?

Considering Price didn’t want to go downstairs to help Coleman after his fatal fall, it probably shouldn’t be too surprising.

According to TMZ, the same production company that interviewed (the not ironically named) Price shortly after Coleman died, is the same operation that photographed him as he lay in the hospital.

The pictures might hit newsstands as early as this week, and Price will receive a cut of the deal.

Speechless.

Salt Lake City attorney Kent Alderman said today that Gary Coleman’s parents will not seek to bury their estranged son in Illinois, now that it’s come to light that the actor named an executor in his 1999 will, which is believed to be his last will.

Former TV star Gary Coleman‘s estranged parents are seeking custody of his remains in order to return them to his boyhood home in Illinois.

Coleman died last week in Utah at the age of 42 after suffering a brain hemorrhage. His ex-wife, Shannon Price, had doctors remove him from life support.

But W.G. “Willie” and Sue Coleman, Gary’s parents, claim to be his body’s legal custodians because he and Price were divorced.

Coleman is from Zion, Ill., where his parents reportedly want to have a small, private ceremony.

“The arrangement we’re working on now is to get Gary back to his next of kin, which is his parents,” said family spokesman Victor Perillo.

“The funeral home has been notified, the sheriff’s office, we’ve notified them that there is to be no communication on where the body is to go unless it’s dealt with legally with Gary’s next of kin, and that’s the way it stands right now,” he continued.

Before his death, the actor and his parents were not close. Coleman famously sued them during a long dispute over the money he earned for starring on the sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes.”

It had been more than two decades since Willie and Sue Coleman were in regular contact with their son.

The actor died of the intracranial hemorrhage suffered earlier this week.

He was 42.

Gary Coleman is on life support.

The former child star is unconscious at Utah Regional Medical Center after suffering an “intracranial hemorrhage.”

His condition has worsened since being admitted to a Utah hospital on Thursday after a fall at his home in Santaquin, 55 miles south of Salt Lake City. Lucid upon arrival, Coleman later slipped into a coma.

“At this critical moment, we can only ask for your thoughts and prayers for Gary to make a speedy and full recovery,” Coleman’s family said in a statement.

Gary Coleman is in critical condition in a Utah hospital.

A spokesperson for the Provo facility says the actor was admitted on Wednesday, but couldn’t release additional details.

According to one unconfirmed report, the former child star fell and suffered a head injury.

In February, Coleman suffered a seizure on the set of “The Insider.”

Gary Coleman suffered an apparent seizure on the set of “The Insider,” the show confirms.

He was transferred in “stable condition” to a local hospital, according to its official site.

Drew Pinsky, better known as Dr. Drew, was also on set and aided the actor until paramedics arrived.

Coleman was in the hospital back on January 6 after suffering what he described as “a little seizure activity.”

Gossip Cop is glad to hear Coleman is “stable” and hopes he recovers swiftly.

The plea stems froma domestic violence incident last April in Santaquin, Utah.

While the judge sentenced Coleman to 31 and a half days in jail, the “Diff’rent Strokes” star can avoid time behind bars if he completes a domestic violence course and pays a $595 fine.

Before the hearing began, Coleman said, “I’ve been in better places on my birthday.”

According to a story out today, Gary Coleman supposedly traded nudity for bail.

Ballsy producers of a film called “Midgets vs. Mascots” used an unauthorized shot of Coleman’s penis, incurring the actor’s anger earlier this month, and are now claiming they paid for Coleman’s bail after his Utah arrest on Sunday in exchange for his permission to keep the controversial footage.

Reportedly, Coleman’s naked moment occurs during an improvised moment in a shower scene in which Coleman’s robe comes open while he breaks up a fight.

The penis-for-bail rumor understandably raised eyebrows.

However, there are now reports that that is not what actually happened.

The real story is that Coleman was bailed out by fan named Jarrod Clarke of Draper, Utah. Clarke, who wasn’t looking for publicity and owns Money Train Title Loans, told the local KSL Newsradio, “If you see his mug shot, I mean, what a sad face… To see that he was sitting in there — and he’d been there for 27 hours—and bail was only $1,700, I thought somebody probably ought to do something.”

Clarke then drove to the jail, some distance away, because he was told Coleman needed a drive home. The fan, however, didn’t get to give the “Diff’rent Strokes” star a lift because the actor’s father-in-law had arrived and agreed to drive him home.

“I don’t want to be selfish,” Clarke said about driving Coleman home. “It would have been fun, but it didn’t happen.”

Coleman’s wife called Clarke to thank him.

Gary Coleman was arrested today in Santaquin, Utah, for one count of domestic assault.

It is unclear right now who the victim was, but it’s related to a previously unresolved arrest warrant.

Last July, Coleman’s wife Shannon Price was picked up for suspicion of domestic violence and disorderly conduct, also in Santaquin.

Coleman is still trying to raise the $1,725 needed to post bail.
