Frances Bean Cobain is speaking out about bizarre rumors linking her to Dave Grohl, her late father Kurt’s Nirvana bandmate.

The buzz started with Cobain’s mother, Courtney Love, who recently tweeted (on a private Twitter account) about Foo Fighters frontman Grohl hitting on and trying to seduce her daughter.

Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, has turned 18 and gained her long-sought legal independence.

She’d been subject to a guardianship under paternal grandmother Wendy O’Connor and aunt Kimberly Dawn Cobain after a court stripped Love of control in late 2009.

A judge has extended the order restricting Courtney Love’s contact with daughter Frances Bean Cobain.

Love lost legal control of Cobain back in December, and also had to abide by a restraining order. That order has now been extended to April 9, according to a report.

Seventeen-year-old Cobain will become a legal adult in August.

Courtney Love has lost legal control of her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. A court has appointed two legal guardians to care for the 17-year-old daughter of Love and Kurt Cobain. They guardians are Wendy O’Connor (Kurt Cobain’s mother) and Kimberly Dawn Cobain (his sister).
