Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart grace the pages of Famous magazine again, which must mean it’s time for Famous to “grace” readers with yet another bogus story about the couple.

According to the tab, “sources on the set” of ‘Breaking Dawn’ and “several international news outlets” are reporting that Pattinson and Stewart are finished.

Rarely has a bait-and-switch tabloid cover been as ridiculous and irresponsible as Famous magazine’s current “report” about Robert Pattinson.

Under the picture of a downcast Kristen Stewart, Famous blares, “Rob & The 17-Year-Old Aussie Girl: How Kristen Found Out.” Below that it continues, “The Emails Revealed: What He Tried to Keep Secret.”

The insinuation is obvious.

Famous wants people to think that 24-year-old Pattinson cheated on Stewart with a teenage girl.

Except once anyone opens the magazine, the actual story is TOTALLY different.

In 2009, Famous magazine claimed Kristen Stewart was “snobby” and “miserable” and at odds with her cast mates, also reporting that she was going to quit the ‘Twilight’ franchise.

In 2010, Famous insisted that Stewart was in a romance with Taylor Lautner and “drifting away” from Robert Pattinson.

As soon as 2011 began, of course, Famous reported that Stewart and Pattinson were engaged.

The tabloid prints so many rumors about Stewart, you’d think they’d get one right by sheer accident at some point.

That moment hasn’t arrived.

The tab from Down Under tries to “put one over” on everyone with a priceless piece on Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

The leading couple “beamed from ear to ear” during their happy trip to last week’s People’s Choice Awards, and the magazine thinks it knows why – Pattinson and Stewart are supposedly engaged.

The cast and crew on ‘Breaking Dawn’ have been “left reeling,” declares the tabloid.

There is “confusion & anger” as “filming on ‘Breaking Dawn’ is cancelled,” according to the mag’s cover.

Tabloids slip into alternate realities with the distracted ease most of us show when putting on socks.

Last week, Famous magazine claimed Robert Pattinson had dropped a “bombshell” on the Water For Elephants set and confirmed to the media he and Kristen Stewart had split.

He’d done nothing of the sort.

Famous fabricated the entire premise.

Gossip Cop felt an unpleasant tingle in our knee this morning.

It either means there’s rain coming, or Famous magazine put a certain Twilight twosome on its cover.

“For weeks Kristen Stewart has known there’s something wrong in her relationship with Robert Pattinson,” writes the tab.

Stewart “doesn’t know exactly what it is” but “says she can feel Rob drifting away.”
