Carrie Underwood is taking over for fellow country star Faith Hill on Sunday nights.

Underwood will now sing the opening theme for “Sunday Night Football” on NBC, it was announced on Tuesday.

Last month, Hill announced that after six seasons it was time “someone else rock the open.”

Faith Hill will no longer open “Sunday Night Football” on NBC.

The singer announced on Monday that the primetime pigskin broadcast will not begin with her rendition of “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night” when it returns next fall.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill announced today that they’re organizing a benefit concert on June 22 to aid those affected by the floods in Nashville.

“Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery” will take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, and will feature, among others, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, Miley Cyrus, Martina McBride, Amy Grant, Miranda Lambert and LeAnn Rimes.
