Just hours after Heidi Klum and Seal announced their separation, the singer honored a previously scheduled commitment to appear on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

In his first TV appearance since he and Klum split, Seal and DeGeneres talked about the breakup, his feelings towards her, and why he’s still wearing his wedding ring.

It’s a pretty compelling conversation about one of the more surprising Hollywood splits in recent memory.

Ali Shields’ “American Idol” audition featured her appearing on “Ellen,” getting her first kisses from Usher and Mike Posner, rapping, doing “ghetto dancing,” and even singing the Corinne Bailey Rae song, “Like a Star.”

Even though pictures from the Lindsay Lohan issue of Playboy leaked online early, the magazine is selling BIG.

Hugh Hefner had initially been so concerned that the leak would hurt sales, he moved the magazine’s release date up to get it quickly on newsstands.

Well, it seems the leak and Lohan not promoting the issue on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” the way she was supposed to didn’t affect the sales too much.

Hefner just tweeted, “The Lindsay Lohan January-February Double Issue is breaking sales records.”

Gossip Cop has similarly learned that many newsstands have run out of the magazine, and that people have bought multiple copies of it.

The graphic Lohan photos were inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s shoot for Playboy.

Demi Lovato talks with Ellen DeGeneres about her recent travails (and comeback) in an “Ellen” interview slated to air on Tuesday.

The former “Sonny with a Chance” star, who stopped performing and entered treatment for “emotional and physical issues” last year, is now speaking out about the pressures behind her collapse and what she hopes to do now.

“So many things were going great in my life and then all of a sudden my personal life just went down at crazy speeds,” recalls Lovato. “I had a negative breakdown and it changed my life forever.”

She adds, “But I’m glad that it did, because if I had never gone into the treatment… I don’t know if, one, I’d even be sitting here today, [or] two, if I’d be alive today.”

The “Skyscraper” singer explains that body image issues had a lot to do with her downward spiral.

“One of the reasons why I became so outspoken when I decided to come out of treatment and talk about my issues was because when I grew up I was dealing with the pressures to be thin,” says Lovato.

She explains, “It was the time in the tabloids when very, very skinny girls were on the cover of every magazine and that’s what I was looking up to. That’s what I had to idolize. I don’t want that for young girls to idolize.”

Lovato now want to use her status as a public figure to combat the “very unhealthy” habits she once followed.

“There was nobody out there for me to look at and say, maybe this is unhealthy. Maybe starving myself isn’t the answer,” she says.

“So I want to be that for a 13-year-old girl at home deciding whether or not to eat dinner, or an 18-year-old deciding whether or not to keep her breakfast down. There needs to be a role model out there, and for the first time in my life, I actually feel like one.”

Eva Longoria visits “Ellen” today and tells the host all about her post-divorce life.

It turns out she and ex Tony Parker don’t speak anymore, but it doesn’t seem to bother the “Desperate Housewives” star much.

“I’m in a happy place. Everyone says I look younger… I think divorce agrees with me,” says Longoria.

She acknowledges that she learned a lot through the experience of breaking up and moving on.

“For me being a woman, I realized you cannot identify yourself through a man or through your marriage,” she declares.

The star chatted about Michelle Williams and their movie Blue Valentine – while exercising – before presenting the talk show host – and her audience – with his greatest discovery: Jumpin’ Jammer’z.

Within minutes, the adult-sized onesies were everywhere in the studio, and building huge buzz online.

Anna Faris, who stars in Yogi Bear, made one colossal Boo-Boo while sexting.

The actress tells Ellen DeGeneres that she and her husband Chris Pratt “would sexy text each other” on Wednesdays.

But once, after texting Pratt, “I can’t wait to see you in bed tonight,” she received no reply.

The reason?

She’d accidentally sexted her dad.

Whoops.

She and Pratt “used to have a spicy relationship,” she joked to DeGeneres. “Now this is really going to embarrass my mom that I told you that story.”

Faris mentioned that she had another “close call” with Pratt’s nephew, “who’s like 9 years old.”

It’s a good reminder for everyone – check before sexting.

Bristol Palin and “Dancing with the Stars” partner Mark Ballas appeared on “Ellen” today, and Palin discussed baby daddy Levi Johnston‘s bid for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.

“Do you think he’d be a good mayor,” asked the host. “Do you think he knows about politics?

Judging by Palin’s response, Johnston might have some work to do convincing the voters.

One day after Willow Smith made her live TV debut with Ellen DeGeneres, another young superstar dropped by the show to chat and dance.

Justin Bieber surprised the host during her monologue, first signing a copy of his book for her, and then teaching DeGeneres some new dance moves.

Bieber also sat down to talk about girls, music and bullying, revealing some of his own experiences being teased.

“Everybody goes through bullying… even me,” he told DeGeneres.

“There are so many haters,” he continued. “They just say crazy stuff.”

But Bieber claims he is “not mad” about frequent online taunts.

“I’m 16 years old and I don’t have chest hair and I’m not angry about it at the moment. That will come!”

He also mentioned that he gets grief for his high voice, with people joking that he must use helium before he sings.

“You just have to laugh at yourself. It’s funny.”

Beyonce is pregnant with her first child, claims Us Weekly.

The magazine quotes a source as saying the superstar, who is in her first trimester and is married to Jay-Z, is “shocked” by the surprise pregnancy, but realizes “this is a gift from God and she’s so happy.”

Beyonce’s mom, Tina, however, taped a segment with Ellen DeGeneres – that will air on “Ellen” tomorrow – in which she said the rumors are “not true.”

Gossip Cop is still going to keep an eye on this one.

Did Ellen DeGeneres really have a beef with Lady Gaga over her “meat dress”?

According to a so-called “insider” quoted by the National Enquirer, “Ellen, a vegan, was horrified when she learned Lady Gaga was coming to the interview [on her show] in that monstrosity… She sent a personal message, asking her to change into something… less meaty.”

Timeout: Don’t the phrases, “Ellen, a vegan…” and “something less meaty” seem a tad fabricated?

Anyway, the alleged “insider” says Gaga refused to slip out of her carcass costume, and even after DeGeneres “again begged her to change,” the singer’s “answer was, basically, take it or leave it.”

Gossip Cop looked into this story, and it seems the Enquirer cooked up this “meat” dish.

A source close to DeGeneres assures Gossip Cop that the talk show host did NOT have a cow over Gaga’s ensemble.

“Damn! Casey James Never Nearly Went Pant-less On ‘Ellen’!” reads a HollywoodLife headline that makes even less sense the more you read it.

Slight aside: Can someone from HollywoodLife please contact us and try to reasonably explain what “Never Nearly Went Pant-less” means?

In the meantime, HollywoodLife claims, “Before pre-taping his appearance on Ellen DeGeneres talk show May 20, [James] couldn’t find the new jeans he was meant to wear.”

A so-called “insider,” who’s as uncomfortable with the English language as the gang at HollywoodLife, tells the site, James “arrived to discover he had not pants for his appearance!”

According to the unintentionally funny blog, “Less than an hour before show time the gorgeous blond was still sans jeans — even while rehearsing, no less! — but the jeans were eventually tracked down and found behind a few props that were being used for the May 20 show.”

This is a titillating tale, but it’s not true.

A source involved with the show told Gossip Cop the HollywoodLife piece is “nonsense.”

Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D, and other nicknamed stars of the “Jersey Shore” will test their knowledge (or lack thereof) when they tape appearances this week on “Ellen” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” 

On Thursday, the “Jersey Shore” crew will stop by the daytime talk show, where Ellen DeGeneres will have them play her hysterical game “Know or Go.”

Basically, contestants stand on a platform and are asked a series of questions. But should they answer incorrectly, after Ellen pushes a button, they’re eliminated by falling through a hole in the platform’s floor.

The taped episode airs on Monday, so set your DVRs.

While out West, the cast will also tape an installment of “Jaywalking All-Stars” to air on Jay Leno‘s first week back as host of the “Tonight Show.”

Back in December, Snooki, Pauly D and The Situation competed in a “Jaywalking All-Stars” segment — a mock question-and-answer quiz show —  and embarrassed themselves with their ignorance.

Gossip Cop is fairly certain that unless the questions posed during “Know or Go” and “Jaywalking All-Star” are only about hair gel and fake tans, these two taped segments will be pretty funny.

In Entertainment Weekly‘s cover story, featuring “American Idol” judges Ellen DeGeneres and Simon Cowell, when the rumor is brought up that Cowell may leave the show when his contract expires later this year, DeGeneres says “If Simon goes, I go!”

The article notes that DeGeneres’ comment prompted Cowell, in their joint interview, “to laugh — and squirm a bit. ‘Oh, Ellen!… That’s quite a tricky situation you’ve put me into!’”

Despite Cowell’s reaction, it’s not a laughing matter.

Gossip Cop knows for a fact that DeGeneres is having second thoughts about joining the hit competition show. An insider recently told Gossip Cop that DeGeneres is concerned about the time commitment and added work. In fact, she now has to tape “Ellen” earlier because of the demands of “American Idol.” And, said the source, “she doesn’t want to do it if Simon isn’t on the show.”

For the time being, however, we’ll at least have one season with both DeGeneres and Cowell. The new season kicks off on January 12, but DeGeneres won’t be on until the contestants hit Hollywood on February 9.

Gossip Cop had eyes and ears at tapings of “Ellen” today, where Kellan Lutz and Robert Pattinson charmed the audience in back-to-back appearances. Here’s what we found out:

Lutz taped his episode first, and it airs tomorrow (Wednesday). DeGeneres offered him $5,000 to charity for him to remove his shirt. We won’t spoil whether he agreed to the offer – you’ll have to watch tomorrow.

Pattinson’s parents and sisters were in the audience for his taping, which airs on Friday. He told DeGeneres he was proud of his body for the first time in his life when he watched “New Moon.”

Apparently he isn’t the only one feeling comfortable these days.

Pattinson revealed to DeGeneres that a woman in a crowd had asked him how she could get his attention, and he jokingly suggested she could get naked.

And she did.

Forget Edward Cullen. It’s Robert Pattinson whose powers are superhuman.

“New Moon” hits theaters in ten days, and its enormous ensemble cast continues to hit the small screen in the days leading up to the highly anticipated November 20 release.

UPDATE 9:00PM:

Gossip Cop can now EXCLUSIVELY confirm eight – count ‘em, EIGHT – new bookings today.

It looks like “The Bonnie Hunt Show” will be having a week chock full of “Twilight” stars:

Michael Sheen will appear on November 30, Kellan Lutz on December 2, Nikki Reed on December 3, and Ashley Greene on December 4.

A source told Gossip Cop that Peter Facinelli is ALSO being booked for Bonnie’s show, although a date is not yet known.

Earlier, Gossip Cop confirmed with insiders at “Rachael Ray” that Nikki Reed will be appearing on November 20 (taping on the 18th), while Peter Facinelli will tape an appearance on November 17 – air date to be determined.

We’ve also learned Kellan Lutz will be on “Ellen” on November 18. It tapes the day before.

The new confirmations are now on the Big Board.

One name has been conspicuously absent from the roster of “New Moon” stars making talk show rounds before the film hits theaters on November 20. Well, Gossip Cop can now add it to the list.

Dakota Fanning, who plays Volturi vampire Jane, is scheduled to join hosts Ellen DeGeneres on November 16 and Jay Leno on November 19, Gossip Cop has learned.

The updated, full list of cast appearances can be found here. Something tells us more dates and names are yet to emerge, given the unbelievable anticipation for “New Moon.”

Gossip Cop has learned that Robert Pattinson will be a guest on “Ellen” in a new episode airing November 20, the day “New Moon” hits theaters. A highly, highly placed source confirmed Pattinson’s appearance to Gossip Cop. The interview, however, will be taped on November 17.
