Today Perez Hilton writes, “Not True! Joaquin Phoenix Not Playing Poe!”

What’s interesting about that headline is that Gossip Cop exclusively busted the rumor that Joaquin Phoenix was going to play Edgar Allen Poe TWO DAYS AGO, while at the same time Perez initially called Phoenix’s being (reportedly) tapped for the Poe role an “Inspired casting choice.”

Whoops.
