Brad Pitt Dustin Lance Black George Clooney

George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Jane Lynch, Kevin Bacon, Martin Sheen, and several other stars took to an L.A. stage on Saturday to do a reading of Dustin Lance Black’s play “8” about the federal court case to overturn California’s Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage.

George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Kevin Bacon and Martin Sheen star in a reading tonight of Dustin Lance Black’s play “8″ about the trial to overturn California’s Proposition 8, which outlawed gay marriage.

The reading is also a fundraiser for the American Foundation for Equal Rights.

GQ Australia has apologized for a recent Taylor Lautner interview in which the magazine asked whether two gay Hollywood figures had hit on the actor during a recent dinner.

Dustin Lance Black, the writer and director, has responded to a GQ Australia interview in which Taylor Lautner was asked whether Black or Gus Van Sant (both of whom are gay) had made a pass at him when the trio had dinner together at a restaurant last summer.

“No, definitely not,” replied Lautner. “I think they know I’m straight. But they’re great guys. They’re a lot of fun.”

This is the weirdest, wildest, silliest Robert Pattinson rumor we’ve seen, and it comes just hours before his small, under-the-radar film “New Moon” has its world premiere in Los Angeles.
