Prince William is following in his mother’s footsteps.

The Duke, who’s president of London’s Royal Marsden Hospital — like Princess Diana had been — is opening a children’s cancer unit there with his wife, Kate.

On September 29, the royal couple will tour the new pediatric center, meet patients and medical personnel, and officially open the unit with a plaque.

Prince William has many, many names – and a sense of humor.

Canadian singer Meaghan Blanchard had a major slip of the tongue before performing for William and Kate on Monday, accidentally referring to the “duke” as a “douche.”

Actually, it reportedly came out “dootch,” but the damage was done.

Prince William and Duchess Kate heard from hecklers in Montreal this weekend, as small crowds of demonstrators chanted “Go home parasites!” and “We will never bend!” outside the children’s hospital and cooking workshop visited by the royal newlyweds.

The anti-monarchist protesters, many of them voicing support for a separatist French Quebec, resent Canada’s ties to Britain, whose Queen Elizabeth II is still the North American nation’s official head of state.

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended Wimbledon today, catching the fourth-round match between British star Andy Murray and Richard Gasquet.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived at @Wimbledon for a private visit – they are both #tennis fans,” tweeted Clarence House.

Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis will cook for the royal couple when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attend a charity polo event in Santa Barbara on July 9.

Catherine, the new Duchess of Cambridge, was in attendance as Prince William, the Duke, took part in his first Trooping of the Colour at Buckingham Palace on Saturday.

The ceremony and parade marks the official birthday of England’s monarch (even though Queen Elizabeth II’s actual 85th birthday was in April).

William wore his wedding uniform – and an enormous bearskin hat for the parade itself.

Prince William and Kate Middleton — aka the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge — are set to make their first official tour as a couple, and their North American itinerary has just been revealed.

President Obama and Michelle Obama met William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, today at Buckingham Palace.

The Obamas spent approximately 20 minutes chatting with the newlyweds, who have just returned from their honeymoon. The atmosphere was described as “relaxed.”
