More of Dr. Phil‘s interview of Casey Anthony‘s parents, George and Cindy, aired this morning on the “Today Show.”

The talk show host pressed the Anthonys on some tough issues in the previous installment, and in the new segment, mom Cindy talks about her frustration with Casey boiling over after learning that her granddaughter, Caylee, had been missing for a month.

“My worst nightmare had just unfolded in front of me,” she recounts. “I just screamed at [Casey], and I said, ‘What the hell are you talking about? What do you mean you haven’t seen Caylee?’”

“I wanted to choke her or hit her and I just went over there and punched the bed as hard as I could to get my anger out,” she continues.

Casey Anthony‘s parents, George and Cindy, sat down with Dr. Phil for an exclusive interview about the events surrounding the death of their granddaughter Caylee, and an excerpt of it was aired this morning on the “Today Show.”

In the clips, Dr. Phil presses Cindy about an odd MySpace message she posted which read, “My Caylee is missing.” What makes that message particularly noteworthy is that Cindy posted it on July 3, a full 12 days before Caylee was reported missing.

So, did Cindy already know about Caylee’s disappearance?

In the excerpt, she says, ”Caylee was missing in my heart that day. She wasn’t missing physically, but I thought I knew where she was at.” Cindy adds, “I wanted Casey to know how much she was hurting me, and I thought she was purposely keeping Caylee away from me.”

Dr. Phil also confront the Anthonys about the foul odor emanating from Casey’s trunk, and what they thought it was.

“Truthfully, to this day, I don’t know, to be honest,” says Cindy.

George responds, “Do I want to believe Caylee was back there? I don’t want to believe it. I’m going by what investigators have told me. All I know is that Caylee is not with us anymore. I know that.”

And when questioned about whether George knew more about Caylee’s whereabouts, Cindy says, ”George would have never have put us through those six months of not knowing where Caylee was if he knew where Caylee was. I watched his heart break every single day, and I watched him as frantic as he was.”

Casey Anthony‘s parents, George and Cindy, will appear on the season premiere of “Dr. Phil” on September 12.

The couple has remained silent since their daughter was acquitted of murder in the 2008 death of their granddaughter, Caylee, but will do the ”Dr. Phil” interview in exchange for a donation to Caylee’s Fund.

“We knew that we’d want to speak at some point,” said Cindy Anthony in a statement.

“We are hoping that by doing this interview, we will be able to help other people who may be experiencing struggles of their own. We certainly don’t want anyone to experience what we have these last three years.”

That experience includes attacks on the family, before and after Casey’s controversial acquittal.

“Have these attacks been warranted, or not? I looked them straight in the eye and asked some very tough questions,” said Dr. Phil in a statement. “Nothing is off limits during this interview.”

Oprah Winfrey taped her third and second to last shows on Tuesday night in front of more than 20,000 fans inside Chicago’s United Center.

The first one-hour show was hosted by Tom Hanks, who told the talk-show queen, “Today you are surrounded by nothing but love,” before noting that “pulling off this surprise [filled show] has been a mission impossible.”

Enter Tom Cruise, who Winfrey said “looked like you were 10 when you on my show in 1988.” Cruise has been a guest one dozen times on the show.

Next up was “America’s Got Talent” phenom Jackie Evancho, who sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and was joined by Josh Groban and then Patti LaBelle.

Not enough?

Madonna walked on stage and told Oprah, “You look surprised,” before adding, “Millions of people are inspired by Oprah. I am one of them… She’s a self-made woman who’s been at the top of her game for over 25 years and she is still kicking ass.”

Dakota Fanning came out next to talk about “‘Oprah Show’ Babies,” the generation who grew up watching the program and learning “that girls can run the world.”

That then segued into Beyonce, dressed in a tuxedo leotard, singing her hit, “Run the World (Girls).”

Diane Sawyer was also on hand to announce that 25,000 oak trees are being planted in honor of Oprah, who joked with the audience, “You get a tree, and you get a tree, and you get a tree. Everybody gets a tree!”

Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, and Katie Holmes came out to talk about viewers — who were in the audience — who’ve helped their communities through various charitable acts.

Holmes and Cruise then introduced Rascal Flatts, who closed out the show with a performance of “I Won’t Let You Go.”

The second taped show on Tuesday, slated to the be next to last aired “Oprah Winfrey Show,” was hosted by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.

And the first guest was former Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, who arrived in the Windy City the same year that Oprah did.

Following the basketball great was Jamie Foxx performing “Isn’t She Lovely.” Foxx was joined on piano by Stevie Wonder, who later sang a song he wrote just for Oprah.

Jerry Seinfeld followed Wonder with a standup routine.

After Simon Cowell made a cameo that included him saying, “You are a very good kisser,” Rosie O’Donnell took the stage to sing, “Fever,” with a number of special Oprah-specific lyrics. Joining O’Donnell onstage were Oprah proteges Dr. Phil, Nate Berkus, and Dr. Oz.

And then — just hours after the shocking revelation that Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child out of wedlock – Maria Shriver hit the stage with Gayle King and told Oprah, “For more than 30 years, you bestowed the most amazing friendship on me, given me love, support, wisdom and most of all truth.”

Kristin Chenoweth sang a tune from “Wicked,” which was followed up by a poem Maya Angelou wrote and performed specially for Oprah. Alicia Keys then crooned the song, “Superwoman.”

In a rare public appearance, Stedman Graham took the stage to laud his longtime girlfriend. “I’m so proud of you,” he told his “sweetheart.”

Graham then introduced Aretha Franklin, who belted out “Amazing Grace.”

“I’ve never experienced anything like this,” Oprah told the massive audience, adding, “Thank you for taking me to a place that’s beyond joyous.”

But Will Smith told Oprah there was just one more remaining surprise… Usher, who performed a medley of “O.M.G.” and “Oh Happy Day” before confetti exploded across the audience.

The two taped shows will air on May 23 and May 24. Oprah’s last show is May 25.

David Letterman accused Donald Trump of racism during last night’s “Late Show,” taking Trump to task for the President Obama birth certificate controversy.

During an interview with guest Dr. Phil, who’s friendly with Trump, Letterman suggested that Trump’s recent implication that Obama only got into Columbia and Harvard because he’s black is when things stopped being funny.

“It’s all fun, it’s all a circus, it’s all a rodeo – until it starts to smack of racism,” said Letterman.

When the host asked Dr. Phil whether he considered Trump a racist, the guest replied quickly, “I do not,” explaining that Trump often just doesn’t think before he speaks.

Letterman didn’t seem so sure.

“If he comes back on this show, and I am not sure we want him back on this show under these circumstances, he ought to be prepared to apologize just for that kind of behavior.”

Ted Williams has reportedly quit rehab against medical advice.

The golden-voiced homeless man who rocketed to fame earlier this month after his talents were discovered on the street, has left Origins Recovery Center in Texas, according to TMZ.

Williams entered rehab for drug and alcohol abuse less than two weeks ago after being convinced by Dr. Phil.

Gossip Cop has reached out to individuals at the center for comment in order to confirm the report.

Ted Williams is going to rehab, Gossip Cop has confirmed with a rep for Dr. Phil, who convinced the formerly homeless man to seek treatment.

He’s en route to rehab right now.

The man with the golden voice taped two segments over the weekend with Dr. Phil.

The first, which aired yesterday, was just so the host could get more familiar with Williams.

The second episode, which airs today, featured a reunion with his family.

Sources close to the situation tell Gossip Cop that Williams and his family were kept in separate hotels before the reunion.

Fast forward to today: After the incident on Monday night in which Williams got into a verbal altercation with his daughter Janey, Dr. Phil had Williams come back for a third taping.

Today Williams admitted on the program that he’s currently using alcohol, a rep for the show confirms to Gossip Cop.

Away from the cameras, away from the media, Dr. Phil convinced Williams to go to rehab.

Following the incident with her dad, Williams’ daughter said, “He’s consumed at least a bottle of Grey Goose a night, at least. That’s not including the Coronas he orders, that’s not including Budweisers he orders, that’s not including the other alcohol, the wines. He drinks – heavily.”

The segment in which Williams admits he’s still drinking will air tomorrow.

Yesterday, we busted National Enquirer for making 100% false claims about Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw; specifically, allegations that a recent house purchase signaled the end of their long marriage.

The Enquirer insists that Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher‘s brand-new marriage is also threatened by a house.

It’s starting to look like the tabloid is no better at real estate reporting than it is with celebrity news.

The newlyweds are “already at war after she reneged on an earlier promise to move to his native Canada,” claim “sources” for the mag.

According to the Enquirer, Underwood and Fisher were honeymooning in Napa Valley when “their problems erupted in an explosive confrontation” supposedly sparked when Fisher mentioned building a nursery in the house he’s constructing in Ottawa, where he plays professional hockey.

Underwood allegedly “flew off the handle,” telling Fisher she had “no intention” of living there, since Nashville is a “more logical home base” for her own music career. The tabloid says Underwood “glossed over the settling-down issue” before the wedding, assuming everything would work itself out.

An “insider” tells the Enquirer that Fisher “feels duped and raged that Carrie misled him.”

That sounds more like a description of how Enquirer readers often feel.

Because just like the Dr. Phil piece and countless other relationship stories botched by the mag, this article has no basis in reality.

Underwood never changed her mind about Ottawa, and is happy to be living there with new hubby Fisher. A source close to the performer tells Gossip Cop the rumors of unrest are “not true.”

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Dr. Phil recently put his home up for sale, and – contrary to reports – it wasn’t a sign he was divorcing wife Robin.

In actuality, the couple was selling because they bought another home to live together.

Leave it to supermarket tabloid National Enquirer to claim that the new house is really just part of a fabricated “divorce deal” by which the couple lives on opposite sides of the reported $30 million mansion.

The mag alleges Robin is itching to divorce the famous TV doctor, but he wants “to control the timing.”

An unnamed source explains, “Phil came up with a secret plan. Robin has agreed to it and will temporarily stay in the marriage.”

So what’s the plan exactly?

“Phil bought the biggest house he could find, and he and Robin will lead separate lives, even sleeping in different wings of the new mansion,” the supposed insider continues. “When his show ends and they’re ready to officially split, Robin will receive the house as part of their divorce.”

Uh huh.

And when they don’t split, the Enquirer will be hoping this story is long forgotten. How convenient.

Not so conveniently, a source close to the doctor assures Gossip Cop that the claim is “ridiculous,” noting how divorce rumors have swirled around the couple for years — yet they remain happily together.

“Divorce Rumors True? Dr. Phil Puts His House On The Market” reads the headline of a post by Perez Hllton, who notes the TV doc is looking to sell his 8-bedroom, 11,000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion, which comes complete with a screening room, a pool, and a billiards room.

Dr. Phil’s desire to unload his massive home prompts Perez to ask, “Could this be another sign of divorce for the hick doctor?” 

The bad blogger even states, “The last time [Dr. Phil] and his wifey looked into selling the place, it was three years ago, amidst divorce rumors.”

Well, those rumors were false then – and so is this latest pile of junk.

Unlike Perez – who blocks Gossip Cop on Twitter because he’s afraid of us – we fact-check stories.

And a source close to Dr. Phil assures us that the Cop Blocker’s divorce insinuation is “ridiculous.”

But wait, it gets better.

Not only is the selling of their house not indicative of an impending divorce, but rather it’s a sign of their commitment.

Dr. Phil and his wife just “purchased another house” together, says our insider.

Kelly Osbourne is joining “Dr. Phil.”

The reality TV superstar and “Dancing With the Stars” fan favorite will begin appearing as a special contributor on Phil McGraw‘s syndicated program.

Her first role will be on a panel discussing prescription drug use in Hollywood and how it affects teenagers.

She’ll continue to appear through the remainder of the season.

“Kelly is an excellent addition to our show because she’s experienced a lot of what many of our younger viewers may be going through,” Dr. Phil explained, later referring to her addictions and battle with obesity.

Osbourne said she is “honored” to be part of the powerhouse program.

“I really hope I can use my life experiences to do some good,” she says.

In a cover story titled “Whitney Dying!” the National Enquirer claims, “Whitney Houston’s physical condition is so fragile that alarmed family members begged her to put off her worldwide comeback tour.”

Really? What else?

“Now experts predict Whitney – ravaged by drug addiction, an abusive marriage, family stress and a stalled career – has just five years to live,” reports the Enquirer.

Seriously?

The Enquirer, which has already sentenced Kirstie Alley and Dr. Phil to early graves, once again trots out some guy with a Ph.D named Patrick Wanis, who has developed what he calls a “Life & Death Calculator” – based on a person’s emotional, physical, mental, nutritional and spiritual state – and who claims that he can predict a person’s life expectancy.

This time around Wanis says, “Whitney can’t escape the consequences of her past,” referring to her previous drug abuse. He says he’s “added up the stressors and other factors in her life, and unless she starts taking care of herself both mentally and physically, she may have only five years to live.”

So what are some of these stressors that will kill Houston at age 51, according to the Enquirer?

In addition to her past drug use, the tabloid lists such determinants as “a toxic 15-year marriage to ex-husband Bobby Brown, the 2003 death of her father, stalled career.”

Wait, she’s going to die because of a marriage that ended three years ago, her father’s death seven years ago, and a career that’s not stalled anymore?

[scratching head]

The fact of the matter is Houston is quite alive and well. Not only is she in better shape than she’s been in years, but she recently wowed an audience in Osaka, Japan.

Once again, the Enquirer is dead wrong with its speculation.

When Gossip Cop reached out for a comment, a rep for Houston called the story “ridiculous” and “rubbish.”

The National Enquirer has once again done what it likes to do best: predicting the premature death of a celebrity who is presently alive and well. This time, in a cover piece titled, “Dr. Phil: Only 3 Years to Live!” the supermarket rag has decided to cut the talk show host down in his prime.

Is he gravely ill? What’s wrong?

The Enquirer says he has a “deadly heart problem he’s hiding.”

Well, it couldn’t be that his dad died of heart disease, because he hasn’t hid that at all. It is that? Oh, never mind.

Anyway, the Enquirer has some guy with a Ph.D named Patrick Wanis, who has developed what he calls a “Life & Death Calculator” – based on a person’s emotional, physical, mental, nutritional and spiritual state – and who claims that he can predict a person’s life expectancy.

Enter Dr. Phil.

Wanis says of the 59-year-old talk show host, “I have added up the stressors in Dr. Phil’s life, and unless he adds more balance to it, he may live to only 62.” Wanis goes on to say, “Dr. Phil has the temperament that would most likely choose to ignore the dangers of stress… Such type A personalities have double the risk of coronary heart disease.”

The article adds that Dr. Phil’s family history of heart disease, plus “the tremendous personal and work stresses he’s facing, could doom him to an early grave.”

How very ominous – and ludicrous!

Perhaps the Enquirer forgot that the heart-conscious doctor exercises by playing tennis EVERY day.

Nevertheless, a rep for Dr. Phil told Gossip Cop, “This is classic National Enquirer – taking an ‘expert’ on their payroll to comment on someone he has never met and knows nothing about.”

According to a TMZ story, picked up by Perez Hilton and others, a woman named Shirley Dieu, who participated in the series “The Dr. Phil House,” is claiming Dr. Phil “touched her left breast during her therapy session.”

Gossip Cop has learned that the allegation, part of papers she filed yesterday in the L.A. County Superior Court, is “completely ridiculous,” according to a source close to the talk show host. And that shouldn’t be too hard to prove, because a statement sent to Gossip Cop by the Dr. Phil show states, “Dr. Phil is never alone in the House with any of these guests and all of his interactions are captured on video and/or audio tape.”

Interestingly, Dieu tried to file some claims nine months ago with the Los Angeles Police Department, and the breast-touching allegation was not included. Her contentions were investigated back then, and the City Attorney decided not to pursue the case.

Another claim Gossip Cop can shoot down which Dieu alleged in her court papers is that she “was blocked by the staff to prevent her from leaving.”
A source close to Dr. Phil tells Gossip Cop, she was “never imprisoned,” and, in fact, when Dieu said she wanted to leave the house, far from blocking her access, the show arranged to have a car take Dieu from the Hollywood house to her home in Orange County.

The National Enquirer is claiming a “world exclusive” for its cover story heralding “Oprah’s Lost Diaries.” And the reason no one else has this exclusive is because, well, her diaries aren’t actually lost.

Undeterred even by Oprah’s publicist telling the tab the diaries aren’t lost or anyone coming forward having found them or looking to sell them, the National Enquirer still used significant space to dredge up a slew of unfounded rumors. Among the alleged diary secrets that Oprah’s “fearful” will be “misinterpreted and misunderstood” are that “Oprah admits that she and Gayle [King] are much more than just friends” who sometimes share a bed, and are not gay. Their closeness, according to the supermarket tab, would hurt longtime beau Stedman Graham, of whom the weekly says the diaries note “their passion has run cold.”

Another man who takes a hit in the so-called “lost diaries” is her protege Dr. Phil McGraw. An equally so-called ‘insider’ says:

The best thing about a “lost diaries” story? Unless someone comes forward with them, Gossip Cop will still maintain there’s a lot missing to all this.
