Snooki has endorsed Donald Trump for president.

Speaking with Huffington Post, America’s guidette-in-chief expressed a lack of enthusiasm for the current Republican contenders looking to beat President Obama in the fall.

That’s when she made her real political preference known.

“I thought Trump was gonna run,” said Snooki. “But he’s not, right? I would endorse him and vote for him.”

There you have it.

Steve Jobs is Barbara Walters’ “Most Fascinating Person” of 2011

The TV journalist revealed her annual selection Wednesday during her ABC special, “Barbara Walters Presents: The Most Fascinating People.”

Walters explained that it used to be a rule that the top honor went to a living person.

Jobs was originally selected when he announced his retirement from Apple over the summer.

But after his death from pancreatic cancer in October, Walters and her staff decided he still deserved the title.

“It’s unlikely there will ever be anyone like him again,” she said.

Gary Busey is endorsing Newt Gingrich for president.

The actor and reality TV star revealed the news during a holiday party in Washington, D.C. on Saturday.

“I’ve never met Newt but I know what he stands for,” Busey told The Hill.

He picked Gingrich over Rick Perry, even though the latter candidate is governor of Texas, Busey’s home state.

“He’s a good guy, he just doesn’t belong in the race,” said Busey of Perry.

Busey’s old “Celebrity Apprentice” buddy, Donald Trump, is still slated to moderate a Republican debate in Iowa on December 27 – even though only Gingrich and Rick Santorum have agreed to attend.

When he’s not endorsing presidential candidates, Busey can be seen starring on “Celebrity Wife Swap,” which begins in January.

Donald Trump is set to moderate a Republican presidential debate, according to reports.

The business mogul and “Celebrity Apprentice” host, who flirted with his own potential candidacy last spring, has teamed up with conservative outlet Newsmax for the December 27 event in Des Moines.

It will be broadcast on Ion Television.

“Our readers and the grass roots really love Trump,” explains Newsmax exec Christopher Ruddy. “They may not agree with him on everything, but they don’t see him as owned by the Washington establishment, the media establishment.”

Trump has privately met with several Republican contenders over the course of the long pre-primary season.

On Friday, candidates were formally invited to “The Newsmax Ion Television 2012 Presidential Debate.”

Barbara Walters has announced the majority of the interviewees for her upcoming “The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011″ special.

Among the luminaries to be profiled are Simon Cowell, Derek Jeter, Donald Trump, Katy Perry, Pippa Middleton, “Modern Family” stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, as well as the press-shy Kardashians (Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Kris Jenner).

Walters’ “Number One Most Fascinating Person of 2011″ will be revealed on the show.

The 19th annual special will air on December 14.

Regis Philbin says goodbye to “Live with Regis and Kelly” on November 18, and during his last week on the air he’s going to get a sendoff from some of his “favorite guests and friends.”

Among those booked on Philbin’s final week are Jimmy Fallon and Don Rickles (November 14), Donald Trump (November 15), David Letterman (November 16), and his former co-host Kathie Lee Gifford (November 17).

The final shows will also feature musical performances from Tony Bennett, Josh Groban, and Bret Michaels.

Philbin’s last day on the air will be a look-back at his nearly three decades hosting the hit morning show, along with a few surprises.

Jimmy Kimmel will host the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the annual star-studded night when comedians take jabs at President Obama and other political figures.

In a statement, the late-night TV personality said he looked forward to the occasion, joking, “I love dinner.”

“Jimmy’s humor is sophisticated and edgy while appealing to a wide audience,” said White House Correspondents’ Association president Caren Bohan. “We are thrilled that Jimmy has accepted our invitation to be the featured comedian at our annual dinner.”

“Saturday Night Live” player Seth Meyers had hosting duties last April, using the platform to blast then-possible presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Other recent emcees have included Jay Leno and Stephen Colbert, who infamously mocked an unamused President Bush.

The Kimmel dinner is set to take place on April 28, 2012.

When the less-than-credible site TheDirty alleged late last week that Liev Schreiber had been unfaithful to Naomi Watts, his longtime partner and the mother of their two children, it was Gossip Cop that reported the story was a complete lie.

At the time, TheDirty and assorted lemmings like HollywoodLife claimed that after the wrap party for Mental, Schreiber had a sexual encounter with a woman named Phoebe Roberts, who was a stand-in for his co-star Toni Collette in the film.

The sites took pains to write that Schreiber and Roberts went “back to his apartment.”

We said then it wasn’t true, and now even Roberts has publicly dismissed the rumors.

She says, ”I did not and am not having a sexual relationship with Liev Schreiber,” adding, ”We have a professional relationship. We worked together on a film and nothing inappropriate occurred between us.”

Gossip Cop would like to point out that TheDirty seems to be removing almost as many of its headline-grabbing stories as it posts.

The site pulled down its piece about Schreiber and Roberts, and as we reported earlier, it also yanked its similarly erroneous cheating report about Donald Trump and a porn star.

It’s time for TheDirty to clean up its act.

Donald Trump is accused of having an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels in a report first published on TheDirty.com and then repeated in the pages of Life & Style.

The “Apprentice” star supposedly “cheated on Melania Trump when she was pregnant with his child,” according to a so-called “source” for the original blog story.

“My friend [Daniels] had sex with Donald after one of his golfing events, and he lured her to multiple hotel rooms after that,” continues this “source.”

But the story is 100% false.

Trump’s camp tells Gossip Cop the report is “totally untrue and ridiculous,” pointing out that Life & Style went ahead and printed the allegations even though TheDirty had already pulled down its post.

More damning is that Daniels herself slams the rumor.

In a letter to TheDirty obtained by Gossip Cop, Daniels’ attorney calls out the site for fabricating a sexual affair involving Daniels and Trump “to lure potential customers to your commercial filth.”

Life & Style was more than happy to repeat the filth without bothering to look into its authenticity.

The only people “cheated” here are the tabloid’s readers.

Well, at least that’s the title awarded to her by Parade and Yahoo! OMG! in their annual pop cultural poll, which surveyed Americans on a number of topics.

With 29% of the vote, Kardashian edged out Charlie Sheen (27%) for Most Annoying Celebrity.

Leila Lopes of Angola was crowned Miss Universe on Monday night.

The 25-year-old Lopes is the first Miss Universe from Angola. She beat out contestants from 88 other countries to win the title on the pageant’s 60th anniversary.

And it was a question about beauty that helped her take the crown.

When asked what physical trait she would change, Lopes replied, “Thank God I’m very satisfied with the way God created me, and I wouldn’t change a thing.” She added, “I consider myself a woman endowed with inner beauty. I have acquired many wonderful principles from my family, and I intend to follow these for the rest of my life.”

The first runner-up after Lopes was 23-year-old Olesia Stefanko of Ukraine, followed by Priscila Machado of Brazil, where the competition was held.

Lopes replaces last year’s Miss Universe, Ximena Navarrete of Mexico.

Miss Universe is co-owned by Donald Trump and NBC.

Earlier this week, Betty White was crowned America’s “favorite and most trusted” celebrity in a poll conducted by Ipsos Public Affairs.

White, Denzel Washington and Sandra Bullock led the pack of 100 pre-selected public figures (politicians excluded), with the trio each getting a “favorable” opinion from at least 84% of respondents.

But which celebrities ended up on the other end of the spectrum?

The list of the 10 “least favorite” celebrities, as determined by who received the highest “unfavorable” ratings from Americans polled, is as follows:

Bret Michaels and Donald Trump could be getting back into the reality show business together.

The Poison rocker, who won Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2010, is reportedly in talks with The Donald to develop a series called “Something To Believe In.”

According to the New York Post, the show would feature Michaels traveling across America and helping people dealing with adversity.

“Mr. Trump thinks Bret is a wonderful guy. [He] wants to consider it,” a rep for the business icon says.

Michaels has gone through his share of tough times of late, having suffered a nearly fatal brain hemorrhage and a stroke last year before bouncing back to perform on stage.

Roseanne Barr announced last night on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno“: “I am running for President of the United States.”

The former sitcom star, who was showered in red, white, and blue confetti, claimed, “I’m totally serious.”

She explained to Leno, “I want to be part of the debates, because I want to represent the tax payers, and in fact, I’m choosing the tax payers as my vice president.”

The talk show host even had bumper stickers and buttons made up for presidential run.

When asked whether Sarah Palin influenced her decision, Barr quipped, “It’s because of her that I decided to do a reality show,” and then noted, “That’s kinda what got me to thinking that I too should run for president… if she can.”

Barr stated she’s not running as a Republican or a Democrat.

“I’m not for either party ’cause they both suck and they’re both a bunch of criminals,” said Barr, adding, “So I made up my own party. It’s America’s Green Tea Party.”

Of course, like Donald Trump, who floated a possible presidential bid, which resulted in a ratings boost for “Celebrity Apprentice,” Barr is trying to lift the numbers of her new show, “Roseanne’s Nuts,” which follows her as she runs a nut farm in Hawaii.

Donald Trump called in to “Fox & Friends” this morning, and announced his granddaughter’s name.

The real estate mogul, whose daughter Ivanka had a baby girl yesterday, said, “I just left the hospital… The baby is beautiful,” and her name is “Arabella Rose.”

The new grandpa used the opportunity to also weigh in on the current political landscape, noting that if the Republicans don’t nominate a viable candidate, he could jump into the race.

Trump said after the “Apprentice” season is over, he “might do something,” but not as a republican since it would be too late to run as a GOP candidate.

Trump gave birth to a girl this morning.

It’s the couple’s first child.

She tweeted, “This morning [Jared] and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world. We feel incredibly grateful and blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!”

“The Apprentice” star and Kushner wed in October 2009, and Trump announced her pregnancy in January.

Trump told Harper’s Bazaar in May, “We have our work cut out for us to ensure that our daughter is grounded and not spoiled.”

“Marlee Matlin was soooo sure she was going to win The Celebrity Apprentice that she told many folks she was the favorite,” writes Star, which adds the Oscar winner “even had a congratulatory celebration planned with family and friends at her home the very same night she was fired by The Donald, who chose John Rich.”

According to the tabloid, “Marlee stormed out of the studio just seconds after being given the boot, leaving most of her belongings behind — including her handbag and her house keys!”

Really?

Nope.

Not only does an NBC source call the Star story “false,” but Matlin herself tells Gossip Cop it’s “not true at all.”

Of course, the fact that Star is WRONG should come as no surprise.

The inaccurate Matlin piece was written by the exact same Star “reporter” who claimed, “Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s headline-making split was caused by his decision to leave politics and return to Hollywood.”

Donald Trump just blasted Rep. Anthony Weiner in a video on his YouTube page, calling the New York Congressman a “psycho” who “should never ever be allowed to run for office again.”

Trump says he knows Weiner “very well,” and he “was not surprised at all” when it came out that the Congressman had tweeted inappropriate photos of himself.

“The fact is, Anthony Weiner is a bad guy,” says the mogul and maybe-presidential candidate.

Sarah Palin will meet with Donald Trump today at Trump Tower in New York City.

The “Celebrity Apprentice” star’s office has confirmed the meeting, after which Palin and Trump are set to have dinner.

It’s not been revealed what the nature of the meeting will be, although reports claim Palin was the one who requested the Manhattan sit down.

One week after announcing he’d decided not to run for President in 2012 and one day after crowning John Rich the winner of “Celebrity Apprentice,” Donald Trump, who emerged from the birther movement even more orange-faced than before, revealed that he still MIGHT run for the nation’s highest office.

Calling into “Fox & Friends,” the real estate mogul expressed dissatisfaction with the current field of Republican contenders, suggesting that none of them can beat President Obama.

When asked why he’d elected not to run, Trump cited the sacrifices he’d have to make (including “Celebrity Apprentice”), but then said, “It was just a decision that I made, but who knows, stranger things have happened.”

After co-host Brian Kilmeade asked, “So you’re [saying]… you would not rule out a late entry if nothing pans out for the [Republicans]?”

“I would not rule it out, no, I would not rule it out.”

John Rich has been crowned the winner of “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Donald Trump said that having to choose between the country singer and actress Marlee Matlin was one of the most difficult decisions in the history of the competition.

Rich will be taking home a $250,000 prize.

The entire season four cast was on hand for the live show, and it appears Meat Loaf and Gary Busey have ended their feud, while Star Jones and NeNe Leakes, evidently have not.

Ivanka Trump dresses as a Playboy bunny, talks about her pregnancy and slams President Obama in a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are expecting their first child – a girl – on July 14.

“We have our work cut out for us to ensure that our daughter is grounded and not spoiled,” remarks the “Celebrity Apprentice” star.

Not surprisingly, Trump thinks her father Donald Trump would make an excellent commander-in-chief, even though he announced yesterday that he won’t be running in 2012.

“I think he’s exactly what we need,” she says. “He’s the best equipped to deal with the most important issues this nation has, which is ultimately that we’re suffering under a massive burden of debt.”

“We need a very acute financial mind to get us out of this mire.”

As for the current President, Trump isn’t a big fan.

“Of course [once he was elected] I wanted him to succeed, but he’s proven to be a very ineffective leader,” she says of Obama.

“He has just not risen to the occasion. He doesn’t have business experience or a business mind.”

“After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency. This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country. I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.

I want to personally thank the millions of Americans who have joined the various Trump grassroots movements and written me letters and e-mails encouraging me to run. My gratitude for your faith and trust in me could never be expressed properly in words. So, I make you this promise: that I will continue to voice my opinions loudly and help to shape our politician’s thoughts.  My ability to bring important economic and foreign policy issues to the forefront of the national dialogue is perhaps my greatest asset and one of the most valuable services I can provide to this country.  I will continue to push our President and the country’s policy makers to address the dire challenges arising from our unsustainable debt structure and increasing lack of global competitiveness.  Issues, including getting tough on China and other countries that are methodically and systematically taking advantage of the United States, were seldom mentioned before I brought them to the forefront of the country’s conversation. Should Donald Trump run for president – and not do “Celebrity Apprentice” – NBC is prepared to replace him.

Today, the network announced next year’s schedule lineup, and its entertainment chairman, Bob Goldblatt, said, “If [Trump] decides to run and is unavailable to do the show, we will bring the show back and someone else will be sitting at the head of the board table.”

Nevertheless, Goldblatt added, “We are still hoping to have Donald back.”

While NBC would like Trump to stay with the show, Goldblatt acknowledged, “It’s the right and privilege of anyone to run for the highest office of the land. Nothing would make me happier than for someone to reach that.”

Should Trump toss his hair, er, hat into the ring, NBC would look for “another galvanizing presence,” noted Goldblatt, who reiterated, “I’m hopeful we don’t have to go there.”

David Letterman accused Donald Trump of racism during last night’s “Late Show,” taking Trump to task for the President Obama birth certificate controversy.

During an interview with guest Dr. Phil, who’s friendly with Trump, Letterman suggested that Trump’s recent implication that Obama only got into Columbia and Harvard because he’s black is when things stopped being funny.

“It’s all fun, it’s all a circus, it’s all a rodeo – until it starts to smack of racism,” said Letterman.

When the host asked Dr. Phil whether he considered Trump a racist, the guest replied quickly, “I do not,” explaining that Trump often just doesn’t think before he speaks.

Letterman didn’t seem so sure.

“If he comes back on this show, and I am not sure we want him back on this show under these circumstances, he ought to be prepared to apologize just for that kind of behavior.”
