Eddie Murphy is reportedly a leading contender to host next year’s Academy Awards.
The actor’s name is said to be at the top of the list thanks to his relationship with Brett Ratner, who directs Murphy in ‘Tower Heist’ and is producing the 2012 Oscars.
Murphy is interested in the hosting job, according to multiple industry reports.
