“Dolce and Gabbana want to sign up Rihanna,” reads the headline of a piece in the Mirror, which goes on to explain that they “want the controversial 22-year-old singer as their muse.”

Not surprisingly, gossip’s junkyard, Hollyscoop, picked up the story – without bothering to fact-check – and added, “Look out, Madonna! There’s a younger chick in town who is taking your place!” So is Rihanna going to replace Madonna as the new face of Dolce & Gabbana?
