Lindsay Lohan and her dad Michael had a face-to-face yesterday at the Betty Ford Center, a source close to the situation confirms to Gossip Cop. We’re told the meeting between the formerly estranged father and daughter was “emotional,” and part of the actress’ therapy. For months, when talk turned to possibly meeting up with her dad, Lohan was adamant, and would tell Gossip Cop, “No, not meeting with him.” What do you think of Michael and Lindsay’s reunion?

Finally, something Dina and Michael Lohan can agree on.

Lindsay Lohan was sent back to rehab today after Judge Elden Fox heard her case.

Although the District Attorney recommended that Lohan be sent to jail for six months, Judge Fox ordered rehab instead.

Dina Lohan exclusively tells Gossip Cop that she is not shopping an interview for after she visits daughter Lindsay Lohan in rehab, contrary to some reports.

TMZ claims Lohan is asking “in the high five figures” for the chat, and that she’s trying to arrange a deal where cameras would film her visit to the Betty Ford Center, where Lindsay is in treatment.

But Dina Lohan says the interview rumor is “absolutely not true.”

Lindsay Lohan allegations always seem to be bubbling up, but a widespread rumor that she attempted to break out of rehab for a caffeinated soda just fizzles.

A report emerged on Wednesday claiming that Lohan “was caught trying to escape” from the Betty Ford Center, where she’s currently in rehabilitation.

“In a tale so bizarre it is almost unbelievable,” the starlet supposedly tried to “flee” the center’s grounds to buy a beverage at a nearby building’s vending machine, but her fellow patient accomplice’s clothing “got caught on the fence.”

Michael Lohan will try to seek a legal conservatorship for Lindsay Lohan.

The actress’ father plans to file a petition sometime in the next several days.

The elder Lohan met with lawyer David Chon, a trusts specialist, on Wednesday.

He, however, is not looking to be her conservator.

Lohan told Gossip Cop, “It is being worked on, and no I will not be [her] conservator.”

But he has also made it clear that he doesn’t want Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan, or her new business manager, Lou Taylor, to have control of his daughter’s affairs.
