According to TMZ, Dina is shopping a book in which she exposes her daughter’s “dark secrets,” supposedly “blowing the lid off of Lindsay’s alleged drug and alcohol use.”

But Dina tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the story is a “total lie.”

“I would NEVER do a negative book about my child,” she continues, saying that “when and if” she does a book, it will be “all positive.”

Lindsay, of course, is facing the media glare this week without her mother’s help, having had her probation revoked and then failing to show for work at the L.A. County Morgue.

“Lindsay Lohan Partied Hard And Did Shots At Kim Kardashian Wedding,” reads a headline from RadarOnline, the same blog that recently said she’s dating Virgin Mobile “Sparah” model Spencer Falls (wrong), and was going to blow off community service to party in Europe with Paris Hilton (wrong).

“Lohan was one of the hard-partying guests at Kim Kardashian’s wedding,” says a supposed “eyewitness” for RadarOnline, which magically was the only outlet to allegedly see this.

According to the site’s source, ”She was drinking and partying hard… I saw her order shots from the bar.”

Lohan’s mom ”Dina didn’t seem to mind. She was sitting right with her daughters as Lindsay enjoyed several drinks,” adds RadarOnline.

But did Lohan really booze it up at Kardashian’s wedding last night?

Nope, says the actress.

Lohan tells Gossip Cop, “It’s all a lie. That’s so untrue.”

Of course, skeptics are going to just say Lohan’s lying, but RadarOnline – which has a long history of getting it wrong with Lohan – is the only outlet to report she was drunk, and there were cameras everywhere.

The magazine notes that “just like icons Madonna and Cher,” she’s dropping her last name.

The tale about Lohan losing her surname began when PopEater quoted the actress’ mom, Dina, as saying, “She’s just going by ‘Lindsay.’”

But Gossip Cop decided to go to Lohan herself, and she confirmed “I’m not” dropping the last name.

The show touts its exclusive as ”a deeply personal and revealing conversation” with Lohan.

Lohan, however, tells Gossip Cop the interview will not have the bombshells one might be expecting.

Instead, the segment will focus largely on Lohan giving her mom, Dina, a gift of a kitchen makeover.

While we generally watch “Extra” because it’s one of the good entertainment shows, now we’ll definitely be tuning in to see whether the two-part interview is Lohan dishing about rehab – or where her mom stores dishes in her redesigned kitchen.

The tab claims that before Lohan entered rehab, “her mom Dina asked Jen to mentor Lindsay.”

According to source for the tab, Aniston accepted, and immediately “took a shine” to the troubled actress.

The “Friends” star “wrote her inspirational notes and encouraged her to check out yoga, meditation and Eastern philosophies,” the supposed insider tells the mag.

Gwyneth Paltrow is returning to “Glee,” Gossip Cop has learned.

The Oscar-winner will reprise her role as substitute teacher Holly Holliday.

Paltrow made news for her appearance by singing Cee Lo Green‘s “F**k You,” and taking jabs in one scene at Lindsay Lohan for being in rehab.

Shortly afterwards, Dina Lohan told Gossip Cop exclusively that she wanted to take legal action.

There’s no word yet on when the new Paltrow episode will be filmed.

“Lindsay Lohan will not be allowed to leave the state of California during the Thanksgiving holiday – so she’ll be breaking bread with her father Michael on Turkey Day,” claims TMZ.

The generally reliable site goes on to report that “Lindsay will spend the day at a home where Michael is staying, close to Betty Ford.”

Not so fast, Dina Lohan tells Gossip Cop.

As to the where and with whom Lindsay will celebrate the holiday, Dina says, “We are figuring all of that out now.”

Meanwhile, while Lohan continues to concentrate on her recovery, Malin Akerman has been tapped to replace the actress in Inferno, the film about porn star Linda Lovelace.

Dina Lohan is spitting mad at “Glee” after last night’s show featured a scene in which Gwyneth Paltrow, playing a substitute Spanish teacher, instructed her students in the language by asking them questions related to Lindsay Lohan.

In the scene, Paltrow’s character asks in Spanish (and translated via subtitles onscreen): “Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?”

Then, in an effort (presumably) to teach the students the number 5, Paltrow’s character quizzes, “How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?”

And when the substitute teacher needs to talk privately with a student, she tells the class, “Please get into groups and discuss how many times Lindsay Lohan has been in rehab.”

Well, Dina Lohan is not letting this slide. She tells Gossip Cop, “Our lawyers are sending a letter” to “Glee” on the grounds that the show allegedly defamed the actress who, by all accounts, is working hard on her recovery.

A rep for Lohan adds, “Lindsay has an issue that millions of people around the world are dealing with yet ‘Glee’ is treating addiction as a laughing matter.”

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly switched to an outpatient house from the Betty Ford Center.

Photos of the actress arriving at the new location yesterday are posted to TMZ.

During her Monday interview with “Today,” Dina Lohan said her daughter had “spent the 30 days in [inpatient care,] now she’s in a home.”

The starlet must be in rehab until January 3, as per an October 22 court ruling.

Lindsay Lohan and her dad Michael had a face-to-face yesterday at the Betty Ford Center, a source close to the situation confirms to Gossip Cop.

We’re told the meeting between the formerly estranged father and daughter was “emotional,” and part of the actress’ therapy.

For months, when talk turned to possibly meeting up with her dad, Lohan was adamant, and would tell Gossip Cop, “No, not meeting with him.” And when he showed up unannounced (and unwanted) in April, she expressed to Gossip Cop, “He is INSANE!”

But since some of Lohan’s issues are reportedly related to her dad, the Mean Girls star voluntarily met with her father yesterday.

Gossip Cop is told Michael and Lindsay Lohan spent “considerable time together” at Betty Ford, and even went to a local mall.

Though Lohan is sticking to his word not to discuss his family anymore – and would not comment on the meeting – he told Gossip Cop, “As I have consistently said, all I can say I that I love Lindsay as I do all of my children, and I am proud of the steps Lindsay has taken and the progress she has made.”

Back on the East Coast today, Dina Lohan hit the “Today Show,” where she said that her daughter’s current stint at Betty Ford is “life-changing,’ and that Lindsay is “just a different person.”

Lindsay Lohan was sent back to rehab today after Judge Elden Fox heard her case.

Although the District Attorney recommended that Lohan be sent to jail for six months, Judge Fox ordered rehab instead.

“I don’t want another train wreck,” the judge said, believing rehab would be more beneficial than a stint behind bars.

A very pleased Michael Lohan tells Gossip Cop the judge’s decision is “exactly what we prayed for and exactly what she needs.”

Dina Lohan exclusively tells Gossip Cop that she is not shopping an interview for after she visits daughter Lindsay Lohan in rehab, contrary to some reports.

TMZ claims Lohan is asking “in the high five figures” for the chat, and that she’s trying to arrange a deal where cameras would film her visit to the Betty Ford Center, where Lindsay is in treatment.

But Dina Lohan says the interview rumor is “absolutely not true.”

According to the site, Dina Lohan “is currently shopping a reality show based around visiting her daughter, Lindsay, while she is in rehab.”

The story, which got picked up by such dupes as Perez Hilton, quotes an unnamed “squealer” as saying, “Not only has Dina been ‘shopping’ around her upcoming trip to visit Lindsay in rehab at Betty Ford with her “other” 3 abandoned children, Michael Jr,(22), Ali (16) and Cody (13) to media outlets for the sale of pictures BUT she is doing it to develop a new REALITY SHOW!”

First, who would say in a real conversation, “Her ‘other’ 3 children, Michael Jr, Ali and Cody”?

That quote is as fabricated as the premise of the story.

And rather than dealing with phony quotes from a “squealer,” Gossip Cop went directly to Dina Lohan herself.

Lohan told us that reports of her trying to sell a reality show, based on her upcoming visit to Lindsay in rehab, are “so not true.”

A rep for the Mean Girls actress also tells Gossip Cop that it’s “a smear campaign against the family, and it’s just hurting Lindsay.”

Lindsay Lohan allegations always seem to be bubbling up, but a widespread rumor that she attempted to break out of rehab for caffeinated soda just fizzles.

A report emerged on Wednesday claiming that Lohan “was caught trying to escape” from the Betty Ford Center, where she’s currently in rehabilitation.

“In a tale so bizarre it is almost unbelievable,” the starlet supposedly tried to “flee” the center’s grounds to buy Coke — as in cola — at a nearby building’s vending machine, but her fellow patient accomplice’s clothing “got caught on the fence.”

The two were reportedly forced to return to the clinic.

Whoa, that sounds crazy!

It’s also 100% untrue.

Dina Lohan tells Gossip Cop the rumored breakout is “not true” — there was never any dramatic attempt to flee.

Michael Lohan will try to seek a legal conservatorship for Lindsay Lohan.

The actress’ father plans to file a petition sometime in the next several days.

The elder Lohan met with lawyer David Chon, a trusts specialist, on Wednesday.

He, however, is not looking to be her conservator.

Lohan told Gossip Cop, “It is being worked on, and no I will not be [her] conservator.”

But he has also made it clear that he doesn’t want Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan, or her new business manager, Lou Taylor, to have control of his daughter’s affairs.

Taking a swipe at the two, he tells Gossip Cop, “I  just want Lindsay’s life and career to be guided by people who are in it with their hearts, not their hands.”

Britney Spears famously ceded legal power in recent years to a conservatorship established by her father, Jamie Spears.

Last May, Lindsay Lohan told Gossip Cop exclusively that her dad’s potential attempt to create a conservatorship for her would go nowhere.

“He won’t ever get that,” she said at the time.

Circumstances have changed, of course, with the younger Lohan in rehab for a fifth time and a probation violation hearing next month.

Michael Lohan is blaming Lindsay Lohan‘s lawyer and “enablers” for the actress’ return to jail today.

Speaking outside the courtroom after his daughter was remanded to jail following the revelation that she failed a drug test, the elder Lohan – who has had his own troubles with the law – said he’s confident Lindsay knows she has a problem, but jail isn’t going to help her.

“Lindsay knows what she needs and what she wants but people are turning a blind eye,” he said.

Lohan explained, “Personally, I feel Shawn [Chapman Holley, Lindsay's lawyer] and the people around Lindsay who are representing her are responsible.”

He also blamed ex-wife Dina for not giving their daughter the support he believes she needs.

“It’s all people, places, and things,” he said. “She’s around the wrong people, hanging out in the wrong places.”

But the father of four also acknowledged his own shortcomings, saying “I’ve made mistakes myself. I’ve fixed them. I’ve tried to help my family.”

When reporters asked why he seemed so angry, Lohan replied, “Why am I angry? My daughter’s in jail. I’d rather be in jail than my daughter today.”

Lindsay Lohan‘s mom Dina says her daughter will be leaving Los Angeles after her rehab stint is over, and “she’ll be coming back to New York.”

Though the Lohan matriarch praised California as “a wonderful state,” she told Matt Lauer on “Today Show,” “It’s a different game you play there. The court system is a little different.”

Lohan acknowledged that when her daughter moved to California at the age of 19, she was young and ”got in trouble” and “made mistakes as we all have,” but felt ”without failure [there] is no success.”

And she noted that since the actress’ last rehab stint, ”She’s grown up considerably.”

Most recently, Lindsay spent 13 days behind bars, where her mother said she was locked up with alleged murderers, and became friends “with a lot of them.”

As for Lindsay’s release from the rehab facility at UCLA, Lohan acknowledged that it will be a shorter sentence than the court-mandated 90 days, and that her daughter will be released “soon.”

Lindsay Lohan got a visit on Thursday from lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who is not “exactly sure” when her client will be leaving jail but said she’s “fine, she’s good.”

“She’s looking forward to her release, said Chapman Holley after her hour with Lohan at the correctional facility in Lynwood. “It’s a light at the end of the tunnel.”

The starlet’s mom Dina, sister Ali and ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson also stopped to see her on Thursday. Fans of the actress were expected to show up for a public demonstration of support as well.

According to reports, Lohan met recently with representatives from rehab facilities. She’ll be attending an inpatient program after her release from jail.

Lindsay Lohan‘s first few days in jail included visits from her mom Dina, sister Ali, and gal pal Samantha Ronson. But the weekend was a lonely one with just one visitor allowed: her attorney.

“It was hard for her not to see her family over the weekend,” says Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley.

The actress had used all her allotted personal visits during the week.

Though Holley said just yesterday that Lohan was “fine” and “made some friends,” she notes today that her client “obviously wants to see her family.”

Holley also reiterated that it’s unclear when Lohan will be released, though she’ll likely serve just a small portion of her 90-day jail sentence.

The starlet could even be out by the end of this week or early next week.

“We hope to know something soon,” Holley says.

Lindsay Lohan will serve only about 14 days of her 90-day jail sentence, provided she behaves herself.

“She is scheduled to be released on either August 1 or 2 for overcrowding issues and good behavior,” confirms Steve Whitmore of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department.

It is standard procedure to release nonviolent misdemeanor offenders early in the L.A. County jail system given its facilities’ problems with overcrowding.

Lindsay Lohan has arrived at the Century Regional Detention Facility, where she’s been “extremely cooperative,” according to Steve Whitmore of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

“Ms. Lindsay Lohan was booked into our facility to begin her sentence,” Whitmore said in a press conference. “She has been extremely cooperative and everything is going smoothly.”

Lohan surrendered at a Beverly Hills court house this morning, accompanied by lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley and mom Dina.

Whitmore noted that the starlet is currently “going through a triage,” which is a routine medical and psychological evaluation for arriving prisoners.

Though there is speculation that Lohan will be released after serving just part of her 90-day sentence, Whitmore said the specifics haven’t been determined.

In the meantime, Lohan will be isolated from other prisoners under a “keep away” order, a common practice, and upon arrival “was treated just like any” inmate.

Despite the media circus outside the facility, “inside it’s business as usual,” said Whitmore.

Lindsay Lohan has finally replaced departed attorney Shawn Chapman Holley, according to a report.

The troubled star will hire Stuart V. Goldberg, a Chicago defense attorney whom she asked to meet in Los Angeles, sources tell TMZ.

Lohan, along with mother Dina and sister Ali, reportedly spent several hours with Goldberg on Friday.

Lohan is due to surrender on July 20 after being sentenced to 90 days in jail.

According to a New York Post piece that was picked up all over, “Lindsay Lohan has been approached by Donald Trump to star in the next ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ season” – and she’s “considering” doing the NBC show.

The paper even quotes her mom, Dina Lohan, saying, “Donald is a friend of the family, and producers of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ have approached Lindsay to appear in the next season. She’s deciding if she wants to do it or not.”

While NBC told the paper it was “too early to talk about casting,” a “source” said, “They are in advanced talks with Lindsay and Dina.”

“Lindsanity Might NOT Be Starring In Porn Star Biopic!” reads another inaccurate report from Perez Hilton. 

According to the bad blogger, “Lindsay Lohan may not be starring in the Linda Lovelace biopic as previously reported because she is unsure about what the role will do for her troubled acting career.”

Lifting his story from the equally mistaken Fox411 blog, Perez says a “source” reveals, “She is not officially locked into the movie yet. She does have some reservations about doing the film.”

Actually, Lohan is locked into the film, as we first reported a month ago.

Additionally, she is NOT having any reservations about starring in the film.

On the contrary, Dina Lohan told Gossip Cop that Lindsay is “excited” about Inferno, and talk about her not wanting to star in the film is a “total lie.”

Amid reports that her father is preparing to begin legal maneuvers to create a conservatorship over her, Lindsay Lohan tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “He won’t ever get that.”

Michael Lohan says it’s “now time” to pursue the conservatorship he’s previously discussed, and that “he’d gladly serve as the conservator but is open to someone else assuming that role,” according to TMZ.

The site also claims the elder Lohan is worried Lindsay could be jailed for violating terms of probation and wants to put her into private rehab.

It sounds as though Lindsay is prepared to fight to remain in charge of her life.

Lindsay Lohan has spoken exclusively to Gossip Cop after her father’s Twitter account allegedly claimed that she is HIV positive.

In tasteless, since-deleted tweets that he says are the work of a hacker, Michael Lohan allegedly tweeted that Lindsay is “living with HIV” and had an affair with music mogul Tommy Mottola when she was 17.

“He’s a grown man and has done the exact same things on TV/interviews, [so] why wouldn’t he lie on Twitter, and everywhere else!” Lohan tells Gossip Cop.

“He just want money – and he’s using me, my name, my status, my mother, brothers and sister for the cash to pay for [another] wedding.”

Lindsay’s response comes after two supposed tweets on Michael Lohan’s account earlier today.

“It’s time you learned the truth,” wrote Michael Lohan. “The truth about Tommy Motolla (sic) engaging in an affair with my then-17 year old daughter.”

He allegedly followed with this stunner: “The truth about my daughter living with HIV for the rest of her life as a result of the decisions she has made,” before erasing both messages.

In recent days, the Lohans have engaged in a very public fight laced with accusations and mutual threats of legal action. Michael Lohan claims to fear for the well being of younger daughter Ali Lohan under Lindsay’s watch, and reportedly is seeking a conservatorship over Lindsay. The sisters and mother Dina Lohan wish to enact restraining orders against Michael.

A hush fell across the world today and all eyes turned to Los Angeles, where Lindsay Lohan had been asked to meet with estranged father Michael Lohan to avoid a possible legal conservatorship.

Of course, Gossip Cop exclusively told you yesterday that the face-to-face wasn’t going to happen.

When we asked Lindsay, she said flatly, “No, [I'm] not meeting with him.”

Sure enough, Lindsay and little sister Ali enjoyed a cheerful lunch together this afternoon while a frustrated Michael headed back to New York to enlist the help of Child Protective Services after being “stood up.”

Last week, Michael Lohan and sheriff’s deputies paid an unexpected visit to Lindsay’s home, where Michael claims 16-year-old Ali is in an unsafe environment. At the time, Lindsay told Gossip Cop she intended to get a restraining order against her father, a notion furthered again today by the younger Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley.

Gossip Cop will keep close tabs on the developing drama.

Once again, Perez Hilton can’t be bothered by the facts.

The blogger, who is so afraid of Gossip Cop that he’s blocked us on Twitter, notes that Lindsay Lohan “and mom Dina showed up to the Chateau Marmont for one of the [Golden Globe] award pre-parties hosted by the (sic) The New York Times Style Magazine.”

He adds, “The only problem? They weren’t invited.”

Did Perez fact-check? Of course not.

Had he done a teensy weensy bit of reporting, Perez would have known that Lohan did not “crash,” as he put it.

Gossip Cop spoke to the party’s organizer, Peggy Siegal, who told us, “She didn’t crash. She was expected.”

And, among the reasons Lohan came to the party — which also drew the likes of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Jeff Bridges, Jane Fonda, Adam Lambert, and Anna Kendrick – was that she wanted to see Best Screenplay nominee (“It’s Complicated”) Nancy Meyers, who cast her way back when in “The Parent Trap.”

The only one who crashed here is… Perez.

Once again, Michael Lohan has released to Radar a secretly recorded telephone conversation with ex-wife Dina Lohan, and again, quite understandably, it isn’t sitting well with his daughter.

Lindsay Lohan, who has every right to be angry with her dad for making seemingly private conversations public, exclusively told Gossip Cop: “My father knows nothing other than how to sell stories for money instead of getting a real job like normal people do, including myself.”

And since he’s allegedly being compensated, Lindsay said, “I sure hope he’s planning to pay child support,” which she claimed he’s never done “my entire life… [he] never has paid!”

(Gossip Cop tried to find out how much Michael Lohan was paid, but a call to Radar, which is owned by the same company as the National Enquirer and the Star, was not returned.)

Irrespective of his reasons for releasing these secretly recorded tapes, the effect is still the same. Lindsay told Gossip Cop, “I hate him so much.”
