Rapper Machine Gun Kelly was arrested for disorderly conduct in Florida on Sunday.

He was taken into custody shortly after 4:00 a.m. by authorities in Pinellas County and released after posting $100 bond.

“Just spent my entire night in a f**king Florida jail… s**t escaladed way to quick last night, it always does with us thought,” wrote Kelly on Twitter.

He added, “The weirdest part of it was how many inmates in there knew who I was… It was some trippy s**t.”

Kelly (real name: Richard Baker) performed in St. Petersburg on Saturday night.

He was recently signed by Diddy to Bad Boy Records.

Scarlett Johansson and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour will host a fashion event in New York City to benefit President Obama’s reelection campaign.

The fundraiser is set for February 7 at the Theory store in the Meatpacking District, and will be attended by such designers as Beyonce, Diddy, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Georgina Chapman and Vera Wang.

The event is part of Runway to Win, a campaign initiative by fashion designers who support Obama’s reelection, and will feature Obama-themed clothing and accessories crafted by the designers.

The People’s Choice Awards will be a whole lot more interesting this year, according to Life & Style, which claims Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez‘s “nasty rivalry” is threatening to come to a head when the stars, who are both up for an award, come face-to-face at the ceremony next month.

An “insider” for the mag explains, “Cameron has always hated Jennifer because Jen trash-talked her to the press in the 1990s, and Cameron never got over it.”

Their supposed “frosty relationship” began when Lopez dismissed Diaz as a “lucky model” during an interview, writes the tabloid, and alleged “sources” insist the feud escalated when they both worked on What to Expect When You’re Expecting last summer.

Life & Style points out that the two didn’t share any scenes in the film, and quotes a supposed “on-set insider” as saying, “Producers made sure the actresses never crossed paths — even booking Jennifer and her massive entourage into a different hotel in Atlanta.”

And things (supposedly) got even worse from there.

The mag says Diaz flipped when she learned Lopez was going out with Bradley Cooper (whom she was rumored to be dating in 2009), and so “retaliated with Diddy [Lopez's ex] weeks later.”

Now, Life & Style claims Diaz is demanding Diddy “stop talking to Jen!”

Wow, this soap opera sounds more enthralling than most movie scripts.

Unfortunately, it’s all nonsense.

A rep for Diaz tells Gossip Cop, “There is no truth whatsoever to any of this,” adding, “Cameron likes Jennifer” and “was completely enthusiastic about her joining the cast of the movie.”

Diddy‘s son, Justin Combs, has committed to play football at UCLA.

“Playing Division I football was a lifelong dream of mine, and through hard work I was able to achieve it,” said the 5-foot-9, 170-pound defensive back for New York’s New Rochelle Iona Prep in a statement.

Combs added, “I am a living testament that with a strong relationship with God, family, and hard work dreams do come true.”

His famous father is thrilled, too.

“As a parent, this is one of the proudest moments of my life. This is everything a father could want for his son, for him to excel at what he loves to do,” explained Diddy.

The music mogul continued, “Justin is a shining example of what hard work, determination and a strong mentality can achieve. I am honored to call him my son and am happy that he is fulfilling his dream.”

Combs was reportedly also offered scholarships by Illinois, Virginia and Wyoming.

“Cameron Diaz and Diddy are hooking up!” reads a headline from Us Weekly, which claims the actress is rebounding from Alex Rodriguez with the singer.

The mag says Diaz and Diddy, who supposedly had a fling in the past, are reuniting now that she’s single, and have even “gone public” with their romance.

According to Us, the pair was “nuzzling in a booth at NYC’s Catch on October 24,” and a so-called “eyewitness” tells the mag they were “inseparable” and “had their hands all over each other.”

And on November 11, adds another “source,” they were allegedly ”making out” and “acting romantic” over lunch at Scarpetta in Beverly Hills.

Gossip Cop reached out to a rep for Diaz, who insists, “They are not romantically involved.”

The reps says she and Diddy are ”longtime friends,” adding, “They have been seen together recently because they are developing a film project.”

Jennifer Lopez got emotional about lost loves during a show at Mohegan Sun on Saturday night, breaking down in tears after a dance performance meant to evoke her past relationships.

After singing “If You Had My Love,” Lopez told the sold-out audience, “That’s the first song I wrote about love. And this is the last song I wrote about love. A lot has happened since then.”

As she belted out “Until It Beats No More,” the “American Idol” judge was joined by dancers made to look like exes including Diddy, Cris Judd, Ben Affleck and soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Describing the performance to the audience as a “trip down memory lane,” Lopez teared up and began to cry.

The crowd responded with a standing ovation.

“Rapper T.I. Allegedly SMACKED Diddy,” blares a headline from MediaTakeOut.

According to the blog, on Saturday night “Diddy had a Ciroc [vodka] party at Atlanta’s top nightclub Compound. At some point during the night, Diddy got UPSET because a lot of celebs were drinking OTHER alcohol… and started ACTING UP.”

The site goes on to claim that Diddy, who’s an ambassador for Ciroc, was “threatening people” who weren’t drinking his vodka, prompting T.I. to warn “if Diddy didn’t stop it, [he] was gonna do something that would get him locked up again.”

A so-called “insider” for MediaFakeOut says, ”Diddy kept acting up and T.I. slapped [Diddy].”

For real?

NO.

For MTO, “allegedly” ends up often being synonymous with “did not.”

Anyway, it’s true that Diddy got into it with a patron who was not drinking Ciroc, but as opposed to T.I. slapping him, the rapper was actually asking for everyone to calm down.

T.I., who’s on probation and was just released from a halfway house, urged Diddy to chill out, noting, “I done paid enough time.”

Later, Diddy tweeted, “I’m just sayin you can do better.”

MediaTakeOut says these tweets are Diddy “BEGGING J Lo to give him a second chance.”

Actually, it’s more like MTO is begging visitors for a “second chance” with its 100% wrong premise about the exes getting back together.

Insiders close to Diddy and Lopez assure Gossip Cop – again – that there’s no truth to rumors of a reunion.

Jennifer Lopez opens up to Vanity Fair for the first time since her split with Marc Anthony.

The “American Idol” judge tells the September issue of the magazine, “I really worked hard at [the marriage]. We both did.”

Still, she acknowledges, “Sometimes it doesn’t work — and that’s sad.

Nevertheless, says Lopez, “I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love… It’s still my biggest dream. I am positive — determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong.”

The singer-actress, who also touches on exes Diddy and Ben Affleck in the article, adds, “I’m a hopeless romantic and passionate person when it comes to love,” but explains, “It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself — if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”

Lopez tells Vanity Fair, “I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer… We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic — and we did. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”

Why might the “stage” be “set”?

“They’re talking,” declares OK!, which cites a so-called “Lopez colleague” as confirming, “They’ve spoken more than once.”

Uh-huh.

Meanwhile, the core of the magazine’s cover story appears to be that Lopez’s mom, Guadalupe, really likes Affleck.

“They were like best friends when Ben was engaged to J. Lo,” explains a so-called “insider.” “He and Guadalupe were drinking and gambling buddies.”

Hold on.

Let’s get this straight.

Affleck, who’s been happily married to Jennifer Garner for 6 years and has two children with her, is supposedly on the verge of getting back together with Lopez, whom he hasn’t dated since 2004, because he… likes to go gambling with her mom?

This is just ridiculous.

As soon as her marriage broke up, the rumor mill started picking through Lopez’s former beaus and throwing superstar names out there just for attention.

But just as there’s nothing going on between Lopez and Diddy, there’s no romantic reunion with Affleck.

“None of it is true,” a source close to Affleck assures Gossip Cop, while a Lopez rep dismisses the OK! cover as “inaccurate.”

Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and other social media superstars will lend their enormous influence to a great cause – the “Show Your Hearts” campaign – starting tomorrow.

On July 3, a car accident killed Joshua and Robin Berry and left their sons Peter (9) and Aaron (8) paralyzed below the waist. Now the boys and their sister Willa (6) are in a Houston-area hospital, facing incredible challenges.

The “Show Your Hearts” fundraising campaign to benefit the Joshua and Robin Berry Children’s Trust officially begins tomorrow, July 27.

It will be aided by celebrities including the Kardashians, Diddy, Jennifer Hudson, Selena Gomez, Julianne Hough, Nicole Scherzinger and “Glee” cast members.

These stars and others are asking everyone to spread awareness about the Berry kids by swapping out profile pictures and avatars for “Show Your Hearts” artwork.

People are also encouraged to post a picture or video of themselves making the “heart” symbol with their hands.

Donations can be made via PayPal and text.

Sean Combs has changed his name from Diddy to SWAG – for this week only.

The hip-hop mogul/performer made the announcement in a “CALL ME SWAG” video posted to YouTube and his @iamdiddy Twitter account. Combs also created an @iamswag account identified as “the alter ego of @iamdiddy.”

In his giddy video explanation (see below), Combs runs down some of his previous names – Puff Daddy, Puff, P. Diddy, Diddy, etc. – before declaring, “My new name is Swag!”

The world will never be the same.

The rapper/actor/entrepreneur just snagged himself a role on “Hawaii Five-0,” in an episode set to air this spring.

Diddy will play NYPD Detective Reggie Williams, who arrives in Honolulu to seek justice against the men responsible for a crime against his family.

To prepare for the role, he’ll undergo weapons instruction and train with a Navy S.E.A.L.

Not surprisingly, the episode will also feature several of his hit songs.

This New Year’s Eve, the same site that recently reported Kim Kardashian is “PREGNANT!!” claims, “IT’S OFFICIAL!! KANYE WEST AND KIM KARDASHIAN ARE DATING.”

And Kardashian and West are going to “GO PUBLIC with their relationship any day now,” writes the less-than-reliable site, adding, “Actually it might happen tonight.”

No, it WON’T!

The two are NOT dating – they’re just friends.

An annoyed friend of Kardashian tells Gossip Cop, MediaTakeOut has “not had one true story ever” about the reality star.

R&B legend Teena Marie‘s death yesterday touched many in the music world.

“God bless Teena Marie & her Family!” tweeted Alicia Keys. “Sending Blessings & prayers. I was jus sayin tht ["Fire and Desire"] is 1 of the most beautifully performed songs!”

Mary J. Blige tweeted, “Rest in peace Teena Mari. My Love love for u is forever.”

But perhaps no message was as personal as Lenny Kravitz‘s video remembrance of Marie, whom he describes as a “treasure.”

“I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Teena,” says Kravitz, who describes Marie taking him in when he was a teenage street musician, giving him a bedroom, feeding him, and caring for him. “She changed my life, not only as an artist, but as a person.”

Diddy is going to fix the hair of the model whose locks went up in flames at a party for the release of his album, “Last Train to Paris.”

As you’ll recall, Miyoki Jones‘ hair caught on fire when she sat in a tub too close to a candle at Diddy’s bash, held at The London hotel in New York.

After the incident, Diddy reportedly called Jones and said he would pick up the bill for whatever it costs to fix her hair.

According to TMZ, Jones made an appointment for this coming week, and the repair treatment is expected to set Diddy back approximately $1,000.

According to a statement picked up by numerous outlets, Nicki Minaj fired Diddy as her manager, just one month before the release of her second album “Pink Friday.”

“I am really strict when it comes to my representation. I had sympathy for Sean however I feel as if I haven’t gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client,” read the the statement.

“I’d like to thank him for everything he has done for me; for taking me under his wing,” continued the statement, “But now that my album is about to drop, its time to get serious and stop playing games.”

Well, someone is certainly playing games – but it’s not Minaj.

The rapper took to her Twitter to correct the rumor that she sacked Diddy and hired mogul Benny Medina. She tweeted, “lmao.  i’ve never met benny medina a day in my life.  we good on this side.”

According to MediaTakeOut, one of its “snitches” was in the VIP area of the New York club Greenhouse last night and saw that “Drake and Rihanna were MAKING OUT.”

One of its snitches?

Would this be one of the “snitches” who told the site Diddy was secretly getting married in St. Bart’s last New Year’s Eve or the “snitch” who said Kim Kardashian recently began dating Chris Brown?

Well, Gossip Cop snooped around and couldn’t verify the sole eyewitness’ account that MediaTakeOut magically obtained. Additionally, a rep for Greenhouse tells us the claim is “not true,” adding, “We didn’t see any making out.”

Nevertheless, MTO says, “In a few days, EVERY GOSSIP place in the WORLD is gonna be talking about this. And when you hear it elsewhere DON’T FORGET that you read it here FIRST.”

The legal battle between Demi Moore and Pacific Magazines – over pictures its Australian tab, New Idea, published of a private post-Oscars bash Moore threw in 2008 – has been settled.

Moore, who was seeking unspecified damages, claimed she had an agreement with an event organizer for the copyright of the pictures.

The playful snaps were reportedly a number of black-and-white photo booth-style pictures of Moore, her daughter Rumer Willis, Orlando Bloom, Cameron Diaz, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Amanda De Cadenet.

The case was to begin Monday in Melbourne, Australia, but the judge said Moore and Pacific Magazines had reached a settlement.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

A woman has sued Diddy for firing her because of age and disability.

Francesca Spero served as an executive at the mogul’s Bad Boy record label until being axed in March.

In court documents, the self-described “51-year-old white woman” claims that Diddy (aka Sean Combs) was “unsympathetic” when she informed him that she required major hip surgery in 2008.

She also says she later “suffered a relapse” with an addiction to alcohol and prescription meds.

While Spero continued to work for two years, she claims Combs endeavored to remove her from the company, eventually replacing her with a younger executive “who lacked the skill set and experience” Spero possessed.

Spero is seeking $12 million in damages, reports TMZ.

The rap icon born Shawn Carter tops a Forbes list of the genre’s biggest earners this year. Jay-Z took in a staggering $63 million through album sales, a concert tour and high-profile investments.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is at #2, having parlayed his first new release in four years and ventures such as Ciroc vodka into $30 million.

In the third spot is Akon (Aliuane Thiam), whose Kon Live label includes Lady Gaga. His touring, clothing line, and other revenue streams added up to $21 million.

Rounding out the top five are heavy hitters Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter ($20 million) and Andre Young — better known as Dr. Dre ($17 million).

Diddy was slated to appear at the Harrah’s Resort party – inside one of the hotel’s clubs – but unruly crowds caused authorities to cancel the Independence Day event.

“The party was so crazy I couldn’t even get in!!!!!!” Diddy tweeted shortly after, adding “10 thousand people showed up.”

While event organizers disputed that number, they said safety concerns led them to end the event early.

Like a bad firecracker, Diddy heard the noise, but saw nothing.

The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Alicia Keys and Sheryl Crow are among the eclectic group of performers set to take the stage for the “Good Morning America Summer Concert Series.”

The weekly event will kick off in New York’s Central Park on May 21 with the Jonas Brothers and Lovato, all of whom will make a second appearance in mid-August. Other scheduled performers include Sugarland, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna, with more still to be announced.

MediaTakeOut announces it has “EXPLOSIVE NEWS.”

The site says Nicki Minaj, who recently dropped out of Rihanna’s tour to purportedly work on her next album, is joining Lady Gaga’s tour.

“That’s right y’all,” writes the site, adding, “According to MediaTakeOut.com’s ULTRA-RELIABLE inside snitch, Gaga’s people learned that Nicki wasn’t touring and quickly snatched her up.”

MediaFakeOut, as it’s also known, says, “Rihanna ain’t gonna like this news one bit!!” and claims that Lady Gaga and Minaj “are finalizing the details now, and that we should expect and (sic) announcement VERY SHORTLY!!!”

And MediaTakeOut is serious about this “exclusive.”

The site has a special note at the bottom of its post that reads: “Members of the press ARE REQUIRED to credit MediaTakeOut.com for this ORIGINAL report. We work EXTREMELY HARD for our exclusive reports, and we DESERVE credit for our hard work.”

Two important things:

(1) Gossip Cop always credits MediaTakeOut for its “ORIGINAL” reports, including such doozies as Beyonce being pregnant, Diddy getting married, and Usher converting to Judaism.

(2) Nicki Minaj is NOT joining Lady Gaga’s tour.

Despite MTO’s info from an “ULTRA-RELIABLE inside snitch,” Gossip Cop is told by Lady Gaga’s rep that the site’s report is not true, and “Semi Precious Weapons remains the support act.”
