Dick Clark, who died of a massive heart attack on Wednesday, has been cremated, his rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

Although “Entertainment Tonight” is reporting that Clark’s ashes will be scattered in the Pacific Ocean, the broadcasting icon’s rep tells us, ”The family has not decided” what to do with his ashes, and that “no plans have been finalized.”

Dick Clark will still be part of New Year’s Eve in Times Square.

Fans of the broadcasting legend, who died of a heart attack on Wednesday, will be able to write messages about Clark on pieces of confetti that will be used to shower midtown Manhattan when the clock strikes midnight next December 31.

Memories and tributes can be submitted online or written on square-inch confetti at the Times Square Visitor Center & Museum.
