Lea Michele is supposedly leading a cast “revolt” against “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy, according to Us Weekly.

The magazine claims the young musical talents on the Fox series are “fed up” with storyline decisions, low pay and long hours, and have organized behind Michele.

“The cast has been speaking about banding together against [Murphy], and Lea is leading the charge,” explains a so-called “source.”

According to the article, frustrated cast members include Dianna Agron (whose character was rendered “unlikable” because she allegedly suggested ideas to Murphy) and Amber Riley (whom Murphy allegedly “threatened to axe” in retaliation for her pal Michele butting heads with him).

Now, “on-set anguish” has supposedly led everyone to line up behind Michele to demand… what exactly?

Us Weekly doesn’t say.

There’s lots of talk of “mutiny” and “showdown,” and then absolutely no details aside from the fact that everyone works long hours (as with every TV show) and wants more money (as with every job, ever).

A rep for Michele tells Gossip Cop the Us article “isn’t true.”

Alleged “mutiny” agitator Michele herself, meanwhile, seems too busy tweeting nearly every day about how “awesome” and “amazing” her job is to lead much of a revolt.

On December 3, for instance, she was “making some coffee & catching up w/ my favorite boss/BFF Ryan Murphy :)”

Anyone who looks at the initial report notices the somewhat important detail that the pair was joined at dinner by two “agent types.”

But reality is so boring for HollywoodLife – baseless speculation is much more fun!

So the site writes that Lautner took the “Glee” star “on a date!”

Um… no.

They went to dinner… with two agents, a source close to Lautner confirms to Gossip Cop, adding, “They are just friends.”

We can’t wait for HollywoodLife’s rumor about Agron and the waiter dating because they were seen at the table together.

Alex Pettyfer seems to have a new lady friend.

The actor was spotted kissing his Magic Mike co-star Riley Keough at LAX airport on Saturday.

Keough, a model-actress, is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley.

She and Pettyfer play exotic dancers in the Steven Soderbergh-directed movie, based on Channing Tatum‘s experiences as a male stripper.

Pettyfer split from “Glee” star Dianna Agron in February.

Time revealed today its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world, and among the celebrities who made the cut this year were Justin Bieber, Chris Colfer, Colin Firth, Blake Lively, Bruno Mars, Amy Poehler, Mark Wahlberg, Sting, and Oprah Winfrey.

As is the case, usually the “Most Influential” people are written about by those in their field or who know them well.

“Glee” co-star Dianna Agron says in her piece about Chris Colfer that he “lives by extreme truth, speaking out against the epidemic of bullying that he, too, faced in high school. The honesty that he in fuses into his ‘Glee’ character, Kurt, leaves you reeling.”

Usher, writing about his protege Justin Bieber, notes, “From the minute I met Justin, I knew this kid possessed a certain confidence that only a star could have. He was born a star. He knew what he wanted to accomplish; all he had to do was get everyone else to believe it. Now, looking back at his incredible run, the reality of who he is and what he’s accomplished far exceeds anybody’s expectations of him.”

Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and gymnast Carly Patterson have also been added to the list of women hacked by a criminal ring under FBI investigation, according to TMZ.

Alex Pettyfer‘s house caught fire last night as the actor attended the premiere for his new film Beastly.

The star left the event early to check on the property near Beverly Hills, where 27 firefighters had responded to the blaze.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.

“Glee” actress Dianna Agron shared the home with Pettyfer before the couple broke up earlier this month.

The aftermath of Dianna Agron and Alex Pettyfer‘s breakup was extremely ugly, according to a sensational Us Weekly rumor.

As Gossip Cop reported, the I Am Number Four co-stars recently split, with Agron moving out of the home she and Pettyfer shared.

But the magazine claims things got scary for the “Glee” actress as the relationship came to an end.

A so-called “insider” tells Us Weekly that Pettyfer allegedly became “a psycho loose cannon” after the breakup, leading Agron to flee for a hotel, where another “source” says she’s staying “under an alias.”

Pettyfer purportedly got into a “heated confrontation” with actor Sebastian Stan at a West Hollywood club on February 18, explains the magazine, supposedly accusing Stan of getting close with Agron.

According to an Us Weekly source, “Dianna is terrified of [Pettyfer],” who allegedly “threatened” her during a phone conversation.

Threats are obviously serious business, as is the suggestion that someone has reason to fear a “psycho.”

But Us Weekly happens to be the same outlet that just this month started the wrong rumor that Agron and Pettyfer were “engaged,” which Gossip Cop promptly debunked.

The tab fares no better with the Agron-Pettyfer truth this time around.

A rep for the actor says there were never any threats.

More importantly, a source close to Agron tells Gossip Cop that Us Weekly‘s story is “completely false.”

It would be refreshing if the magazines could let a relationship end peacefully without feeling the need to create drama.

Liam Neeson‘s thriller Unknown beat the Alex Pettyfer-Dianna Agron sci-fi flick I Am Number Four for the top spot this weekend.

Unknown took in $21.8 million, while I am Number Four earned $19.5 million, edging out Gnomeo & Juliet, which nabbed third with $19.4 million.

Just Go With It and Martin Lawrence‘s fat suit extravaganza Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son came in fourth and fifth place with $18.2 million and $17 million, respectively.

Rounding out the Top Ten were Justin Bieber‘s biopic Never Say Never ($13.6 million), Oscar contender The King’s Speech ($6.5 million), The Roommate ($4.6 million), The Eagle ($4.1 million) and No Strings Attached ($3.4 million).

Lea Michele is again too sexy for some concerned parents.

The “Glee” star appears on the cover of the March 2011 Cosmopolitan, baring skin in a low-cut top.

Now some fans’ parents are condemning the choice, claiming that “as an actress who plays a high school student on a TV show watched largely by teen and pre-teen viewers,” Michele has a responsibility to keep things chaste.

The actress has been at the center of controversy before.

Back in October, Michele and her co-star Dianna Agron were criticized for their GQ photo shoot. Provocative shots of the duo romping in a school setting upset parents who felt the spread bordered on “pedophilia.”

The March 2011 Cosmo cover is less risque, and Michele is a 24-year-old adult woman – not a teenager – posing for a magazine marketed to other adult women.

But as long as her fan base skews young, covers like this one are likely to generate controversy in some corners.

But a source close to Agron assures Gossip Cop that she and Pettyfer do not have a “secret” engagement, as at least one story claims.

TVLine reported that ”Glee” was going to do a Justin Bieber episode that would air on February 15.

According to the blog – and regurgitated by its sister site Deadline - the hit show’s cast was supposedly going to cover several of the pop superstar’s songs.

Gossip Cop tried to confirm it - but it’s NOT true.

Ryan Murphy, the show’s creator, is now saying that there won’t be a Bieber-centric episode, but there will  be one tune of his featured in an upcoming show.

In that episode, Chord Overstreet‘s character, Sam – sporting Bieber’s hairstyle – will try to win back Dianna Agron‘s Quinn character with a Bieber song.

“Glee” returns in a big way next month with a special broadcast following the Super Bowl.

The cast of “Glee” will kick off a short concert tour this summer in the United Kingdom.

Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, new addition Darren Criss and the rest of the cast will begin the five-date stretch in Manchester on June 22.

London and Dublin will also see performances.

The concert will include performances of “Empire State of Mind,” “Toxic,” “My Life Would Suck Without You,” “It’s My Life,” and “Don’t Stop Believin” as well as other hits from the show.

“People around the world want to see our cast live and in person, so this European tour is our way of thanking them for the unbelievable way they’ve embraced our little show,” said the show’s creator Ryan Murphy.

“And for everyone in America who has asked if we’ll be back to a city near them this summer, stay tuned,” Murphy added, “We’ll have some exciting news very soon.”

Tickets go on sale on November 26.

Gwyneth Paltrow will perform Cee Lo Green‘s hit song “F— You” when she goes on the show in two weeks, it’s been confirmed.

The song will be censored to “Forget You” for the episode.

Even with a cleaned-up version, this should be interesting.

Will “Glee” guy Chord Overstreet get naked for cash?

After a week during which his female co-stars Lea Michele and Dianna Agron were peeped in their undies thanks to GQ, Overstreet has been offered up to $100,000 to pose for Playgirl.

“We love Chord over at Playgirl,” a rep for the magazine tells Gossip Cop. “He’s the perfect combo of all-American jock good looks that Playgirl is known for, and the fact that he’s pretty helps!”

And just how much of Overstreet would be exposed?

“We’d be happy to get Chord down to his skivvies, but face it, our readers want to see at least his butt. And I’ll personally throw in another [$50,000] if he drops trou — that’s how committed I am!”

That’s what we’d call enthusiasm for photography.

Overstreet’s co-star Mark Salling is also reportedly on Playgirl‘s wish list.

No word yet on whether Overstreet or Salling will pull a “Levi Johnston” and strip for the magazine.

Most of the negative response has come from critics who think it’s wrong to have stars who portray high schoolers frolicking in their underwear, even if the women are in their twenties in real life.

But GQ isn’t the only recent magazine cover to raise eyebrows.

Back in August, three naked “True Blood” cast members — Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard — posed for Rolling Stone, splashed with fake blood.

And earlier this month, Kim Kardashian was nude – fully nude — in the pages of W magazine.

Sex sells, of course, but some observers have taken issue with these spreads.

The uproar over GQ‘s photo spread featuring “Glee” stars Lea Michele and Dianna Agron continues, and now the show’s cast is responding.

In the controversial pictures, Michele and Agron, both 24 in real life, are shown romping around a high school without much clothing.

Yesterday the Parents Television Council slammed the shoot, claiming it “borders on pedophilia.”

Co-star Mark Salling, though, disagrees with the outrage.

“Personally, I think it’s not a big deal,” he told a radio interviewer.

“I mean, come on! We’re obviously not in high school. It’s tongue-in-cheek that we’re in high school… There’s more important things to worry about in the world.”

Agron herself, meanwhile, reacted to the controversy on her personal blog.

“If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention,” she writes. “And if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry. But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there?”

Playing “very heightened versions of our school characters” for the shoot “wasn’t my favorite idea,” adds Agron, “But I did not walk away.”

A parents group is blasting “Glee” for its sexy GQ magazine cover story and photo shoot.

The Parents Television Council says the spread featuring Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith, in which the two female cast members pose provocatively in school settings, “borders on pedophilia.”

“It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on ‘Glee’ in this way,” reads a statement from the council.

It’s worth pointing out that Michele and Agron are both 24 years old, although they depict teenagers on the show.

Although the studio and even Emma Stone‘s own people expected her to grab the the role of Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming Spider-man reboot, she’s instead going to play Peter Parker first love, Gwen Stacy.

The 3D film, due in 2012, will feature Andrew Garfield as the title character.

Actresses including Mia Wasikowska, Dianna Agron, Georgina Haig and Dominique McElligott were rumored to be in competition for the Stacy role, but some now may be considered for Emma Jane Watson.

Kirsten Dunst played Watson in the recent trilogy starring Tobey Maguire as the superhero.

Is Katie Holmes returning to the small screen?

According to the National Enquirer, Holmes is negotiating a five-part guest starring role on “Glee,” a favorite of hers and husband Tom Cruise.

“She’s hoping a stint on ‘Glee’ will jump-start her standing in Hollywood,” explains an Enquirer “insider” who claims Holmes is taking dance lessons with choreographer Tyce Diorio and recently hired a private singing coach.

Holmes supposedly arranged a meeting with show creator Ryan Murphy through friend and cast member Dianna Agron. She’s “finalizing a deal,” claims the source.

But ‘Glee’ fans shouldn’t expect to see the actress singing and dancing her way onto the Fox hit anytime soon.

A rep for Holmes tells Gossip Cop the report is “not true.”

“Hey Katie Holmes, Will You Be Guest Starring On ‘Glee?’” asks the site HollywoodLife, which spends far more time posing questions than fact-checking.

The blog says, “We all know Katie Holmes loves to sing and dance (think of her special performances on ABC’s ‘Eli Stone’ in 2008 and FOX’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ in 2009), and now we think she might be gunning for a role on FOX’s musical hit, ‘Glee!’”

Why does HollywoodLife think Holmes is “gunning for a role?” They actually admit it’s all based circumstantially on having “spotted her chatting with ‘Glee’ star Dianna Agron at last night’s New York Times-sponsored Golden Globes party at the Chateau Marmont in LA — and Katie was asking Dianna lots of questions about the show.”

HollywoodLife even excitedly reports they heard the two “ending their conversation with Dianna telling Katie, ‘I’ll let you know,’” and adds, “Hm… Could they be getting the ball rolling on Katie’s guest-starring role?”

Once again, Gossip Cop answers questions, especially when other sites ask the wrong ones.

For starters, Holmes is NOT doing “Glee.” And we double-checked with her rep, who told us the same thing.

As for HollywoodLife basing its fabricated scenario that Holmes might possibly do “Glee” because she was at a party, talking to Dianna Agron, who was overheard saying, “I’ll let you know” – the site made one HUGE oversight. Agron and Holmes worked together in the upcoming movie, “The Romantics.”

No “Glee” for Holmes (or Gossip Cop for constantly having to correct HollywoodLife).

Elijah Wood dating Dianna Agron from “Glee”?

OK! is reporting, “It seems like the castmembers of The Romantics are getting, well, quite romantic!”

According to the weekly’s website, one of the film’s stars, Dianna Agron, has “moved on” from Adam Brody – huh? – to another co-star, Elijah Wood.

Pause.

Agron and Brody were never a thing – they’re simply co-stars, and they were photographed grabbing Starbucks one day. Hardly a romance.

Continue.

An “insider” tells the mag, Agron is “all over Elijah. She’s grabbing every second she can with him when they’re not filming and flirting like crazy.”

What else?

“She’s hugging him, feeding him yogurt… it’s a bit much,” adds the source.

What else?

“He seems pretty uncomfortable and he’s very aware of what the paparazzi can see because they’re shooting outside,” says the insider.

Anything else?

Not only does a source close to Wood tell Gossip Cop that the link to Agron “is absolutely false,” but there’s also something else… Wood is still dating long-time girlfriend Pamela Racine.

So the mag’s story is, well, not OK!
