Gabrielle Giffords, the U.S. Congresswoman from Arizona who was shot in the head last January, will give her first TV interview since the incident to Diane Sawyer.

ABC News will air the chat with Giffords and her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, as part of a November 14 primetime special.

Oprah Winfrey taped her third and second to last shows on Tuesday night in front of more than 20,000 fans inside Chicago’s United Center, and everyone showed up to pay homage – Tom Hanks, Madonna, Tom Cruise, Halle Berry, Will Smith and the list goes on and on.

Katie Couric is leaving her job as the anchor of “CBS Evening News,” reports the Associated Press.

The news service, claiming to have spoken to a CBS executive, says Couric – the first woman to solely anchor an evening newscast – will leave her position, and is “expected to launch a syndicated talk show in 2012.”
