Desperate Housewives Marcia Cross Melrose Place National Enquirer

Marcia Cross won’t have a “Desperate Housewives” gig after the show ends next spring, but the National Enquirer already lined up a new career for her.

According to the tabloid, the actress plans to be a professional therapist.

The Enquirer says Cross signed on to the ABC series “soon after earning her license to practice, so she put psychoanalysis on the back burner to take part in the show.”

Now that “Housewives” is set to wrap, the actress, who has been helped in her own life by therapy, “wants to give back and help others” in that capacity, claims an Enquirer “source.”

“All good things eventually come to an end, and in the eighth and final season, the stakes for everyone on Wisteria Lane are at an all-time high,” the network said in a release.

Desperate Housewives Eva Longoria Ricardo Chavira

Ricardo Chavira of “Desperate Housewives” was arrested for DUI this morning in Los Angeles.

The actor plays Eva Longoria’s husband on the hit series.

Police reportedly smelled alcohol on his breath during a routine traffic stop at approximately 2:00 a.m. Following field sobriety tests, Chavira was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Beso Desperate Housewives Eva Longoria Eve MGM Resorts International

Just two days after Eva Longoria and her co-investors filed for bankruptcy for her Las Vegas restaurant Beso and Eve, the club above it, the “Desperate Housewives” star was working it inside the Sin City eatery.

Longoria’s restaurant, which could use positive publicity, was where she decided to do a risque photo shoot yesterday.

The “Desperate Housewives” star opened Beso restaurant and the Eve nightclub in MGM Resorts International’s CityCenter development just a little more than one year ago.
