“The Talk” may have just gotten a little funnier.

Former “Friends” star Aisha Tyler has joined the show as a permanent co-host, reports Deadline.

The actress-comedian, who did a guest stint on the daytime show in the past, will take her place alongside hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and newcomer Sheryl Underwood on Monday.

Mel Gibson broke his silence and spoke for the first time about a variety of subjects, including those infamous taped telephone rants directed at his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

“It’s one terribly awful moment in time, said to one person in the span of one day, and doesn’t represent what I truly believe or how I’ve treated people my entire life,” Gibson tells Deadline in a candid interview.

He claims that despite the tenor of the tapes, “I’ve never treated anyone badly or in a discriminatory way based on their gender, race, religion or sexuality – period. I don’t blame some people for thinking that, though, from the garbage they heard on those leaked tapes, which have been edited.”
