“Tom Cruise Goes Into Couch Jumping Panic Mode At National Movie Awards!” blares a headline from Perez Hilton, who reports that Tom Cruise demanded that he be kept apart from Katie Holmes’ ex-boyfriend and “Dawson’s Creek” co-star Joshua Jackson.

According to Hilton, when Cruise “found out he would have to walk the red carpet with Josh, he lost his little mind!” Really?

The “Dawson’s Creek” turned “Mercy” star made the announcement on Twitter: “Yes, it’s true – the woman I love and I are expecting our first child… currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed.”

Van Der Beek and Kimberly Brook met last July.
