David Cassidy has pleaded not guilty to a DUI charge stemming from a November 3 arrest in Florida.

The former teen idol insists he was not drunk, claiming at the time that he’d had one glass of wine earlier in the day and a hydrocodone pain pill in the afternoon.

David Cassidy was arrested yesterday in Florida on a DUI charge.

The former teen idol was spotted allegedly weaving on and off the road by a Florida Highway Patrol trooper, and when cops checked his 2008 Mercedes they found a half empty bottle of bourbon.

We’re told Meatloaf, Oscar winner Marlee Matlin and Playboy’s “Playmate of the Year” Hope Dworaczyk, who also starred on the E! show, “The Girls next Door,” will be on Donald Trump’s reality contest show.

Although the regular version of “The Apprentice” isn’t performing as well as expected, “Celebrity Apprentice” is set to begin filming next week.

And Gossip Cop can confirm exclusively that Lisa Rinna, David Cassidy and Dionne Warwick will be on the next “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Among the other reported “Apprentice” hopefuls are Star Jones, Mark McGrath and La Toya Jackson.
