Dane Cook is reportedly developing a sitcom for NBC.

The hugely successful standup comedian has signed a deal with the network with the intention of putting together a half-hour show for the 2012-13 television season, according to TVLine.

Dane Cook tweeted late last night that his dog Beast was missing.

He wrote on Twitter, “West Hollywood I need your help please. My dog Beast is missing in that area.” Within hours the lost pooch was found.

Neil Patrick Harris will host this year’s Video Game Awards.

The actor, an avid gamer, stars in the title “Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.”

He will be joined at the 8th annual VGAs by presenters and attendees including: Tony Hawk, Dane Cook, Olivia Munn, Denise Richards, Guillermo Del Toro, AnnaLynne McCord, Chris Hemsworth, Nathan Fillion, and cast members from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”

There will be 13 video game world premieres, including those for “Batman: Arkham City,” “Resistance 3,” and “Thor: God of Thunder.”

Dane Cook Half Brother Ordered to Pay Comic $12 Million

Dane Cook’s half brother Darryl McCauley, who was sentenced in October for stealing millions of dollars from the comedian, has now been ordered to pay Cook $12 million.

McCauley, once Cook’s business manager, simply wrote checks to himself and deposited the comic’s cash directly into his and his wife’s bank accounts.

Dane Cook isn’t exactly shy, and he showed off some personality — and more — on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

It turns out the comedian is a big fan of fellow guest Taylor Swift.

Such a fan, in fact, that Cook took off his shirt, revealing a giant tattoo of Swift on his chest, and then serenaded the country star with a song he may want to put some more work into.

Dane Cook to Make Broadway Debut

Dane Cook, who has sold out arenas and starred in several films including “Good Luck Chuck” and “Employee of the Month,” is going to make his Broadway debut this spring.

The performer is set to appear in Neil LaBute’s comedy “Fat Pig.” Cook joins other comics who will be on Broadway in 2011, including Chris Rock, Ben Stiller and Robin Williams.

A successful comedian known for celebrity roasts and a stint as a judge on “Last Comic Standing,” Giraldo was hospitalized five days ago in New Jersey after overdosing on prescription pills. He was 44.
