Call it Daisy-gate. Janet Charlton’s Hollywood, which last gave us the ridiculous story about John Mayer and Kristin Cavallari secretly hooking up in The Hollywood Hills, now has this tail, er, tale about a cover-up involving Jessica Simpson’s dog Daisy, who was taken by a coyote.

It’s Day 2 of the search for Jessica Simpson’s dog, and the only thing harder to locate than Daisy is any sympathy or sensitivity from other websites for the distraught owner. Today a number of outlets are reporting – with a smirk – that Simpson contacted dog-finding service FindToto.com to help return Daisy after a coyote snatched her near Simpson’s parents’ home in Encino, California.
