LeAnna Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are finally free to marry.

Cibrian’s divorce from Brandi Glanville became official yesterday.

The former “CSI: Miami” star and Glanville wed in 2001, and have two kids.

Their marriage imploded when Cibrian took up with his “Northern Lights” co-star, Rimes, who was also married at the time to dancer Dean Sheremet.

Rimes and Sheremet got divorced this past June.

“LeAnn Betrayed” screams the cover of Star magazine, which claims LeAnn Rimes‘ boyfriend, actor Eddie Cibrian, has not only cheated on her with his soon-to-be ex-wife, but also wants his ex “to take him back.”

The tab alleges the former “CSI: Miami” actor has “enjoyed passionate all-night sex sessions with” Brandi Glanville, whom he is divorcing, though he is in a relationship with Rimes.

A so-called Glanville friend adds that Cibrian told his ex (who is the mother of his two children) that “she’s his soulmate and that he really wants to be with her still.”

And Glanville supposedly acknowledged the affair, telling Star, “mistakes happen.”

But Cibrian himself is slamming the report via his Twitter account, saying, “Once again my ex has stooped to a new low attempting  to sabotage my beautiful relationship with LeAnn.”

“Not surprisingly the ONLY magazine that decided to run the story shares the same credibility and delusion as my ex,” the actor continues. “They should be ashamed of themselves.”

Adds a rep for Rimes, “The Star magazine story is absolutely untrue and completely made up of lies fabricated by people who clearly have no lives of their own. LeAnn refuses to stoop to their level by acknowledging or responding to these ridiculous stories.”

UPDATE 5:10PM 11/17/2009:

Gossip Cop can confirm: The Who are officially set to play Super Bowl XLIV in Miami on February 7, 2010.

Until now the band had called rumors that they’d perform “pure speculation,” but now a source close to the performance confirms to Rolling Stone, “it’s 100 percent the Who.”

The story corroborates what Gossip Cop first reported last Friday.

An announcement from the band and the National Football League is expected on Thanksgiving Day.

With the football season half over (or fully over for teams like the Detroit Lions and St. Louis Rams — oh, snap!), already there is Super Bowl XLIV talk, and equally important, “Who will perform the halftime show?”

That’s right, The Who will perform the halftime show.

SI.com ran with the story after a spokesman for the NFL stated, “When we have something to announce, we’ll announce it,” in response to questions about whether the British band will perform at the year’s most watched intermission.

Super Bowl XLIV is slated to take place on February 7 in Miami, and will air on CBS. So far officials from the TV network have fumbled by not commenting on the halftime entertainment. Actually, CBS already features the music of The Who on a weekly basis, using the band’s tunes “Who Are You” on “CSI,” “Won’t Be Fooled Again” on “CSI: Miami,” and “Baba O’Riley” on “CSI: NY.”

In the past, the Super Bowl has featured other musicians of The Who’s generation, including The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney.

Who band members Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey are also busy working on a new album.

“American Idol” judge, Simon Cowell, who also created “America’s Got Talent” and produces records, earned more than any other guy on TV. According to Forbes, from June 1, 2008 to June 1, 2009, Cowell raked in $75 million.

Next was Donald Trump, who earned $50 million from “The Apprentice,” book sales, and all the products – ranging from neckties to vodka – that he endorses.

In the number three spot is Ryan Seacrest. With his hosting radio and TV shows, among other endeavors, Seacrest amassed $38 million.

“Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen made the combined salary of thousands of men with $21 million. And the fifth highest-earning guy on primetime was “The Office” star Steve Carell, who took in $20 million.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Howie Mandel ($15 million), Kiefer Sutherland ($13 million), Jeff Foxworthy ($11 million), Hugh Laurie ($10 million), and David Caruso ($9 million).

“LeAnn Rimes is about to learn a very tough lesson about love: What goes around comes around,” wrote Life & Style this week in an article that alleges her current beau Eddie Cibrian had not only “been cheating on his wife with LeAnn, he’d also been carrying on a three-year romance with 24-year-old aspiring actress Scheana Marie Jancan.”

According to Life & Style, though he’s purportedly with just Rimes now, Cibrian has slyly “started seeing Scheana again.” The story adds, via a so-called “insider,” that Cibrian has “made it clear to Scheana that he wants to continue seeing her.”

But there was more from Life & Style. The weekly claimed that it had a “second insider,” who said Cibrian was “bragging” – while filming “CSI: Miami” – that he had also been “hooking up with this girl in New York not too long ago.”

Cibrian has denied cheating on Rimes, and Life & Style may now learn a “tough lesson” about “what goes around comes around.” Cibrian is planning on suing the tabloid.

The actor’s rep issued the following statement: “Unfortunately Life & Style Magazine has chosen to go out with a story filled with inaccuracies and deceitful lies, presumably to titillate sales, but clearly resulting in harm to Eddie Cibrian and others. This is irresponsible and reckless journalism. Eddie has met with his attorneys and will be filing a suit for libel and other actionable grounds shortly. It’s a shame that Life & Style resorted to a story of this nature and they will regretfully now have to face scrutiny of untruthful reporting in a court proceeding.”

And if you still doubt that Cibrian has eyes for only Rimes, a Gossip Cop source says the two looked lovey dovey after her Vegas concert last night when they stopped into the club XS, and openly made out.
