Robert Pattinson is the subject of a new casting rumor that claims he’s slated to play King Arthur in ‘Pendragon.’

Outlets like HollywoodLife quickly circulated the report, saying Pattinson’s “allegedly been tapped to play the lead” in the Camelot reboot and describing it as “a historical epic similar in tone to Kristen Stewart’s ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’!”

There’s nothing going on between Robert Pattinson and Caitlin Cronenberg.

But Star magazine doesn’t seem to care.

“Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are in major crisis talks about their relationship – after she saw pictures of him with his stunning new love interest!” announces the tabloid, which claims Stewart is an “emotional wreck” because Pattinson and Cronenberg have been “canoodling.”

This time, Famous wants readers to believe that he’s left Stewart for Caitlin Cronenberg, the daughter of his ‘Cosmopolis’ director David Cronenberg.

Star magazine reports that Kristen Stewart has “spent weeks worrying” because boyfriend Robert Pattinson “has been partying like a single guy while he’s off shooting ‘Cosmopolis’ in Toronto.”

So now Stewart is “making a point of having a wild time too,” writes the tab, which notes she hung out late one night in London with her ‘On The Road’ costar Garrett Hedlund, and was “caught leaving” the L.A. club The Roxy with him a few days later. We knew that when the Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart rumor mill cranked up again the stories would be bogus and silly.

Now it’s just getting ugly.

“Why Kristen Should Be Jealous!” shrieks the latest OK! magazine, the publication that once wanted readers to believe Stewart was pregnant.

We’re afraid to ask, but why should she be “jealous”?

Because Pattinson has supposedly gotten “cozy” with his ‘Cosmopolis’ co-star Sarah Gadon, leaving Stewart “steamed.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are once again the subjects of a “relationship on the rocks” report that manages to be as petty as it is wrong.

Heatworld starts with a magazine rumor that quotes a “source” who says the couple is “spending less and less time together and things seem to have become more distant between them.”

The story more or less alleges that Stewart is too much of a homebody for Pattinson, and that his career is making it more difficult to stay with her.

But Heatworld isn’t satisfied merely passing along tired hearsay.
