“Divorce Rumors True? Dr. Phil Puts His House On The Market” reads the headline of a post by Perez Hllton, who notes the TV doc is looking to sell his 8-bedroom, 11,000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion, which comes complete with a screening room, a pool, and a billiards room.

Dr. Phil’s desire to unload his massive home prompts Perez to ask, “Could this be another sign of divorce for the hick doctor?” 

The bad blogger even states, “The last time [Dr. Phil] and his wifey looked into selling the place, it was three years ago, amidst divorce rumors.”

Well, those rumors were false then – and so is this latest pile of junk.

Unlike Perez – who blocks Gossip Cop on Twitter because he’s afraid of us – we fact-check stories.

And a source close to Dr. Phil assures us that the Cop Blocker’s divorce insinuation is “ridiculous.”

But wait, it gets better.

Not only is the selling of their house not indicative of an impending divorce, but rather it’s a sign of their commitment.

Dr. Phil and his wife just “purchased another house” together, says our insider.

Oops.

“Tom ‘Twinkle Toes’ Cruise Is Getting Extra Annoying Now!” reads a headline from the annoyingly inaccurate Perez Hilton.

After recalling how Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes did a dance number at a recent charity event in L.A., Hilton reports, “Since then, poor Katie has been enduring Tom’s latest publicity scheme – making them the new ‘Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire.’”

Really?

Hilton, who blocks Gossip Cop on Twitter because he’s afraid of our fact-checking ways, goes on to claim, “Sources say that [Cruise] has them working on routines every free moment they have, constantly pushing Katie to practice harder because he ‘believes Katie has a long way to go before she’s ready.’”

Sound familiar?

It should.

Gossip Cop debunked this junk when it was first floated three days ago.

At the time, Cruise’s rep told us, “It is not true.”

And it’s still not true. But “Cop Blocker” Hilton doesn’t care, because he’s made a career of dancing around the truth.

“Mariah’s Life To Be A Musical,” exclaims Perez Hilton in a headline.

The blogger, who’s so afraid of Gossip Cop that he’s blocked us on Twitter, goes on to write, “Mariah Carey is planning to turn her life into a stage musical.”

Really?

“At least she has the good sense not to play herself,” snipes Perez, adding, “She does have someone fab in mind for the role - Leona Lewis!

Still, Perez opines, “Nothing good can come of this!”

Well, actually nothing AT ALL is going to come from this, because Carey’s manager tells Gossip Cop this tale is not true.

Today Perez Hilton writes, “Not True! Joaquin Phoenix Not Playing Poe!”

What’s interesting about that headline is that Gossip Cop exclusively busted the rumor Joaquin Phoenix was going to play Edgar Allen Poe TWO DAYS AGO, while at the same time Perez initially called Phoenix’s being (reportedly) tapped for the Poe role an “Inspired casting choice.”

Whoops.

Now, Perez has done an about face.

But what’s also interesting is that for today’s reversal, Perez cut and pasted reporting from ContactMusic, which noted Phoenix’s rep “tells GossipCop.com the star will not be appearing in the picture.”

Huh?

So rather than going to the original source (Gossip Cop) to admit he was wrong, Perez links to a third party, which rightfully gave Gossip Cop credit.

We probably shouldn’t expect more from a guy who still blocks us on Twitter.

Perez Hilton is so afraid of Gossip Cop – and our fact-checking ways – that he’s blocked us on Twitter. 

And that’s among his many mistakes, because if Perez weren’t such a Cop Blocker, he wouldn’t have made a fool of himself today with a piece he titled, “Obama And Clinton Call Tiger At Rehab!!”

Picking up on a wrong report from four days ago - which Gossip Cop already busted - Perez writes, “While Tiger Woods sat in rehab for sex addiction, both President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton called the douchebag golfer to cheer him up!!”

After regurgitating an erroneous Golf Digest article, where this mistaken story started, Perez then blurts, “Let’s get our priorities straight, people!! Tiger does NOT need any more coddling!”

Fair enough, but President Obama did NOT — repeat, did NOT – reach out to Tiger Woods. A White House spokesperson yesterday confirmed that the Commander-in-Chief did NOT comfort or contact Woods.

And when it comes to priorities, if someone’s going to do an entertainment blog, he or she should check to see if their stories are accurate before posting them.

“Jay-Z Bash Reportedly Refuses White Folk Admittance!!” is the title of another story that Perez Hilton was too busy to fact-check.

“Uh-oh!! This is NOT cool,” writes Perez before claiming Jay-Z ”BANNED white people from going in the VIP area” of a party he hosted.

Actually, what’s NOT cool is repeating allegations without looking into them.

Nevertheless, Perez, who blocks Gossip Cop on Twitter (because he’s afraid of us), goes on to note that after Jay-Z picked up a Brit Award for Best International Male Solo Artist, he threw a party at the Merah club in London, where “African Americans were reportedly let through to (sic) VIP no questions asked, [but] white people were refused admittance.”

So where did “Cop Blocker” Hilton come up with this?

These were comments made by a reporter in the U.K.’s Daily Star, specifically, “It was clear white people were not welcome in his VIP area. While the red rope was lifted for black guests to breeze through, let’s just say it stayed down if your face didn’t fit.”

The Daily Star‘s reporter neglected to mention a few facts that Gossip Cop found out after some investigation.

(1) About 40 percent of the guests in the VIP area were WHITE (there’s even video footage to back it up).

(2) While reporters from other newspapers were invited to Jay-Z’s party, the female reporter who claimed no white people were allowed was actually NOT invited to the party at all, says one of the organizers.

(3) Because that reporter wasn’t invited, she did NOT have the appropriate wristband that security needed to see in order to let her into the VIP area, which is why she – not every white person – was refused entrance.

Gossip Cop is told the reporter repeatedly tried to get into the VIP area, but when she wasn’t allowed in, “she left in a huff,” and had a few choice words for the door staff before leaving and later filing her “white people were not welcome” story.

You see, it was not so black and white after all.

Gossip Cop reached out to the reporter for a comment, but have yet to hear back from her.

For a post today about Jessica Simpson and Taylor Kitsch, Perez Hilton pulled out his two weapons — lateness and inaccuracy. 

In a story titled, “Is Jessica Dating Friday Night Lights’ Taylor Kitsch?” Perez not only lifts a story Gossip Cop busted a week ago, but as usual he didn’t even bother to remotely fact-check it.

First he declares Simpson ”is on the prowl!” and then “reports” that she “was introduced to the Friday Night Lights star by her bestie CaCee Cobb‘s boyfriend, actor Donald Faison back in December, and the two hit it off right away.”

Perez, who BLOCKS Gossip Cop on Twitter, goes on to quote a made-up source who says, “Jessica had a bunch of people over for pizza and beer, and Donald bought his pal Taylor… They ended up talking all night and it’s gone from there.” 

No, this story should be gone.

It wasn’t true a week ago when it was in the Star, and it’s equally untrue today.

In fact, Gossip Cop confirmed that Simpson has NEVER even met Taylor Kitsch.

Yet another fumble from Team Perez.

“Against our advice,” Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens “are moving in together,” reports Perez Hilton, who couldn’t get a story right if we spotted him the R-I-G and H.

He even claims the “High School Musical” stars “will begin house hunting once she returns from filming her latest flick in Canada.”

Perez, who’s so afraid of Gossip Cop that he’s blocked us on Twitter, then cuts and pastes the following: “‘When Vanessa was apart from Zac while filming her upcoming movies Beastly and Sucker Punch, she realised how much she missed him and loved being around him all the time’, a source told In Style.” He adds, “When she got back to LA, she told him she wanted them to move in together.”

The “Cop Blocker” then concludes with the word, “Tragic.”

Gossip Cop thinks his use of the word “tragic” may be self-referential.

So, where do we start?

Let’s begin with the fact that Perez says a source “told In Style.” Close. It was quoted in In Touch. Oops.

And the whole premise of them “moving in together” is also wrong.

When Gossip Cop confronted Efron’s rep about the rumor (a week ago), we were assured, “Each have their own homes… They are not moving in together.”

Yes, tragic reporting indeed.

Once again, Perez Hilton can’t be bothered by the facts.

The blogger, who is so afraid of Gossip Cop that he’s blocked us on Twitter, notes that Lindsay Lohan “and mom Dina showed up to the Chateau Marmont for one of the [Golden Globe] award pre-parties hosted by the (sic) The New York Times Style Magazine.”

He adds, “The only problem? They weren’t invited.”

Did Perez fact-check? Of course not.

Had he done a teensy weensy bit of reporting, Perez would have known that Lohan did not “crash,” as he put it.

Gossip Cop spoke to the party’s organizer, Peggy Siegal, who told us, “She didn’t crash. She was expected.”

And, among the reasons Lohan came to the party — which also drew the likes of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Jeff Bridges, Jane Fonda, Adam Lambert, and Anna Kendrick – was that she wanted to see Best Screenplay nominee (“It’s Complicated”) Nancy Meyers, who cast her way back when in “The Parent Trap.”

The only one who crashed here is… Perez.

Geez, Perez, give some of the other media outlets an opportunity to get things wrong.

Perez Hilton, who blocks Gossip Cop on Twitter because we point out his daily failings, has done it again with this utterly ridiculous and entirely fabricated item about Robert Pattinson.

“Cop Blocker” Hilton “reports” that “a fan recovering from swine flu unexpectedly kissed Robert Pattinson on the lips! She jumped out of a stopped car and said to the actor: ‘My mum wouldn’t pull the car over to let me out because I’m just getting over the swine flu… so I jumped out at the red light just to see you.’”

Continuing to repeat this made-up story, which Gossip Cop already debunked, Perez writes, “R-Patz was enraged and shouted at the girl, ‘You have the swine flu?!…What the hell are you doing kissing anyone?’”

The bad blogger even added, “The New Moon hottie had to reprimand his security team to make sure an incident like that doesn’t happen again, but we don’t see total prevention taking place.”

Actually, this did NOT take place at all. Like Perez’s reporting, this swine flu story is total hogwash. Pattinson’s rep even told Gossip Cop that it “never happened.”

Seriously, Perez couldn’t get a story right even if we typed it for him.

“Worried that his acting career may one day fizzle out, Taylor Lautner has taken steps toward Plan B. He recently became certified as a personal trainer,” writes Perez Hilton in all seriousness.

Perez, who’s certifiably, um, wrong, adds that it was “a good idea” and notes, Lautner would “never run out of clients.”

This story is not only false, but it’s also old. More than a week ago Gossip Cop busted this bad dish when it first appeared in Star magazine. And at the time, a rep for Lautner confirmed it was “not true.” That, of course, has never stopped Perez (who hates Gossip Cop) from regurgitating it.

It’s stories like this that make us wonder what Perez’s Plan B is. But first, what’s his Plan A?

Perez Hilton embarrasses himself online every day, so maybe we shouldn’t be surprised when a TV appearance implodes even before he gets on camera.

Yesterday, everyone’s favorite cop-blocking fact dodger stormed out of the KTLA television studios in Los Angeles when he arrived ahead of his scheduled slot on their morning show and then refused to wait his turn. Other guests, including Snoop Dogg and a children’s choir, happily appeared at their agreed upon times.

When told he couldn’t bump the children’s choir from their spot, Hilton yelled at the staff, threw a tantrum, and left — like a child.

Perez Hilton can’t even cut-and-paste on a second grade level.

“Look out Robert Pattinson, the original hot vampire is back!” writes Perez, who then “reports” that “Brad Pitt is returning to his blood sucking roots to star [in] and produce the upcoming vampire flick Vlad.” (Perez was referring, of course, to Pitt’s past role in “Interview with the Vampire.”)

There’s one slight problem with this story: Pattinson doesn’t have to “look out” because Pitt is NOT “returning to his blood sucking roots to star” in “Vlad,” which is about Vlad the Impaler, upon whom the Dracula tales are based.

Pitt is just PRODUCING the film. But “Cop Blocker” Hilton obviously missed that ENTIRELY CRUCIAL point while hastily cutting and pasting the story.

Perez concludes his latest misfire by saying, “Hopefully they’ll make him shave off that hideous bread of his!”

First of all, it’s a “beard,” not “bread” he’s growing on his face. And more importantly, PRODUCERS are generally not asked to shave their beards (no matter how you spell it).

Did Perez Hilton misplace his scissors and glue?

We only ask because his latest cut-and-paste job about Lindsay Lohan allegedly “making out” with Jessica Alba’s husband Cash Warren is an unfounded rumor that we debunked TWO DAYS AGO.

Perez, who’s fears Gossip Cop’s accurate reporting so much that he’s blocked us on Twitter, writes in his late-st post, that “a witness says they ‘started making out. Lip on tongue. It was raw. They were not shy!’”

Well, let’s examine this story.

First, it’s being repeated by a “Cop Blocker” Hilton, a guy who claims Fidel Castro is dead – and he’s the only one who has confirmed it.

Also, Warren and Lohan allegedly “making out” took place more than two weeks ago in a public club – and no one else reported it or saw it?

But instead of how Perez quotes a “witness,” whose name he doesn’t even know, how about what Lohan herself says?

The actress told Gossip Cop that she’s “just doing a [TV] show with Cash and it’s strictly business.”

Hopefully this wrong rumor will finally be dead (unlike Castro).

Darn that Perez Hilton. With all the correcting we have to do of his stories, we’re going to get Carpal Tunnel Syndrome by the end of the day.

Yes Hilton, who’s blocked Gossip Cop on Twitter because we point out all his mistakes, has done it again. In a piece he lifted from In Touch – without fact-checking – Perez claims Lindsay Lohan “has been sneaking around and spending time with Entourage actor Kevin Connolly!”

“Cop Blocker” Hilton further writes, “The two have known each other for years from hobnobbing around Hollywood, but they hooked up recently at an after-hours party at the home of Leonardo DiCaprio last month and now they’re thinking about taking their relationship to the next level.”

For the record, after that party a month ago, Perez tried to link Lohan to DiCaprio – and we corrected him then, too.

Sorry to ask this so late in the game, but why does anyone read Perez? 

Instead of just cutting and pasting stories like Perez, Gossip Cop reached out to a mutual friend of ours and Connolly’s, who said the link between the “Entourage” star and Lohan is complete fabricated. And Lohan herself told Gossip Cop, “Hahahaha! Nooooo,” and then asked, “What’s wrong with people?

At least Perez Hilton is consistent – consistently late and wrong.

Yesterday, Gossip Cop debunked a story about Will Ferrell wanting to play Simon Cowell in a movie. It all originated with quotes printed in The Sun in which the funnyman said, “I would love to play Simon Cowell in a movie – heck I would love it. It would be my dream role.”

Ferrell then comedically compared Cowell to his “Anchorman” character Ron Burgundy.

Now fast forward – a day later – and you have Perez’s piece, which begins, “LOLs! Will Ferrell has revealed his dream role – to play the lead part in a Simon Cowell biopic!”

No, LOLs… Perez, who’s so afraid of Gossip Cop that he blocks us on Twitter, actually takes Ferrell’s JOKING about playing Cowell seriously.

No, seriously.

“Cop Blocker” Hilton writes, “Simon actually has a pretty good sense of humor — we could kinda see this happening!”

Seriously?

Well, it’s not going to happen. Gossip Cop fact-checks, and Ferrell’s rep told us – yesterday – these reports are “false.” 

Besides Ferrell’s kidding, the only other thing that’s laughable here is Perez’s reporting.

Perez Hilton couldn’t get a story right if we spotted him the letter R-I-G and H. (And probably T, too.)

The bad blogger, who’s so scared of Gossip Cop he’s blocked us – yes, blocked us – on Twitter, recently reported that Lindsay Lohan “feels the need to make her ex a little jealous” and has done so by having “agreed to pose in a new Terry Richardson spread in a French fashion magazine called Purple.”

Well, why would that make Samantha Ronson jealous?

Oh, wait… First, Lohan didn’t do a shoot with Purple, she did it with another magazine, but facts are not that important to Perez.

“Cop Blocker” explains that Lohan is intentionally making Ronson jealous by posing semi-nude with a dude and another woman. According to Perez, the pictures with the guy “won’t do much to bother Ronson, but the shots with another half naked lady certainly will.”

He even quotes a source saying, “Any photos of Lindsay with another girl in a provocative manner will, of course, irk Sam. Lindsay knows what she’s doing when she sets up in those positions. She wants Sam to see.”

This is all quite fascinating, but Gossip Cop spoke directly to Lohan, who wondered, “Why would I want to make someone that I care for jealous? That’s unnecessary and completely untrue!”

That’s a very good point.

Well, “Cop Blocker” Hilton has once again employed his fertile imagination and, unbeknownst to Nicole Kidman, impregnated her.

Last night, Hilton wrote that “Kidman looked like she was sharing a baby secret… as she held her protruding belly and a finger up to her lips!”

He added, “She is glowing!”

Guess what? Like Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz, Katherine Heigl and countless other stars who Dr. Hilton claimed were pregnant, Kidman is also NOT expecting.

A rep for the actress assured Gossip Cop that Hilton’s guesswork was “not true.”

“She’s Smart,” is a headline about Madonna from Perez Hilton. But is he?

Perez, who blocks Gossip Cop on Twitter because he’s afraid of us, just posted a piece about Madonna’s recent visit to boyfriend Jesus Luz’s homeland of Brazil. “Touring the lawless city of Dona Marta,” says Perez, “her Madgesty insisted on wearing a bullet-proof vest under her leather jacket.”

He adds, “Good call!”

No, bad call.

Madonna did NOT wear a bulletproof vest. Her rep reiterated that the story is “absolutely not true,” and that media types like “Cop Blocker” Hilton still went with it, despite being told it was inaccurate.

The only thing the media fortunately did get right was that Madonna raised a whopping $10 million from local businessmen to build a school in the poverty-stricken area.

Under a photo of the Black Eyed Peas singer and headline “One Is The Loneliest Number,” Perez Hilton writes, “Another night without your husband, Fergie?” followed up by “Are you trying to clue us in?”

Maybe Gossip Cop can clue in Perez, who truly doesn’t have a clue about such things as fairness or fact-checking. 

In his gratuitously mean-spirited post, Perez reports, “Ferg was seen heading to dinner alone while in New York last night. No word as to where Josh Duhamel might be.”

News flash: Duhamel was on Long Island, shooting the movie “The Romantics.”

Poor Perez. The blogger, who’s fear of our wacky insistence on accuracy prompted him to block us on Twitter, must’ve been too busy dying his hair, getting stories wrong to spend the entire minute finding the answer to that one.

Perez Hilton never lets facts and fairness get in the way of a good story.

“There is no love for Diane Sawyer coming from Charlie Gibson,” Perez reports (and by “reports,” we mean “copies from the New York Post“).

The blogger cites “insiders” as saying Gibson “dislikes Diane BIG TIME,” repeating the Post‘s source’s claim that “Charlie frequently gives Diane ‘the stink eye’ as well as ‘bad-mouths her openly and often.’”

“How very 6th grade of him!” scolds the man pictured here.

6th grade? Gossip Cop thinks that places Gibson about five grades ahead of Perez when it comes to reporting.

In addition to saying Gibson “isn’t too thrilled that Diane will be taking his coveted position at ABC Nightly News” (if you’re going to copy, Perez, at least get the name of the show – “World News Tonight” – right), Perez only reprints some of the quotes from the Post item – entirely leaving out Gibson’s side of the story, as well as ABC’s.

What you missed is Gibson telling the Post, “I have tremendous respect and fondness for Diane,” adding that the two will be having lunch this week.

Perez, who’s blocked us on Twitter because we value accurate reporting, probably should have at least acknowledged the other half of the story, which includes various parties referring to the Gibson-Sawyer rumors as “bull[bleep]” and “silly.”

“Silly.” Like Perez’s reporting.

“Wowsa,” writes Perez Hilton today in a piece about the box office returns of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It,” and “wowsa” is exactly what we were thinking when we read his story.

Hilton, who is so afraid of Gossip Cop that he’s blocked us on Twitter, begins today’s post with “The world cannot get enough of Michael!” and notes that the “highest-grossing concert movie of all-time” has taken in $200 million.

Huh?

Isn’t this the same Perez Hilton who Gossip Cop called out two weeks ago for repeatedly claiming the movie was a flop? The first Perez post we corrected was a story he titled, “This Is It Is Falling Fast.” And we were equally fast to point out how wrong he was.

Then, two days later, Perez had a piece he called, “This Is It Was A Disappoint,” in which he boldly declared, “After being hyped to the extreme, the Michael Jackson documentary This I It is selling pretty short.” He further stepped in it and dragged it across the room when he nonsensically added, “Seems like Sony was way off the mark when calculating the public interest.”

No, only Perez “Cop Blocker” Hilton was “way off the mark.” (And we corrected him that time, too.)

Gossip Cop said right from the beginning that the movie was a hit, and urged everyone back then (and still today) to see the film because, regardless of what you think of Jackson as a person, as a performer you see “This Is It” – and so much more.

In a piece titled, “LiLo Wants Kellan Lutz To Pay Her Tab?!”  Perez Hilton writes, “we’re hearing” – meaning, “we’re cutting and pasting from another unreliable outlet” – that Lindsay Lohan was recently at Crown Bar in L.A. and was  “having a perfectly wonderful time, drinking and hanging with friends, until the bar bill came.”

He then says, “The waitress came over looking for Lindsay to pay for the bottle of Champagne she ordered and Lindsay told the woman to charge Kellan for it!”

Really?

“Cop Blocker” Hilton goes on to claim, “She left the bar never having paid the bill.”

Two nights ago Miley Cyrus attended the Broadway musical “Rock of Ages” and visited backstage with the cast, including “American Idol” alum Constantine Maroulis. But since a straightforward story is never adequate, some bloggers decided to interpret her night at the theater as something more. “Rumor has it that director Adam Shankman wants to cast her in the upcoming movie version of the musical,” whispers Perez Hilton.

And where did the rumor come from? Well, apparently since Shankman and Cyrus worked together on the upcoming “The Last Song,” it means he’d supposedly “love to cast her as the role of ‘Sherrie’ in ‘Rock of Ages.’”

“We’ll have to wait and see if she’s actually talented,” Cop Blocker Hilton snipes, “or if her acting is only as good as her singing!”

Well, they’re both better than Perez’s blogging. If he spent less time bashing teenagers and more time, you know, reporting, maybe he’d find himself on the right side of the facts more often.

“No she isn’t doing it,” a rep for Cyrus told Gossip Cop when we asked about the possible film adaptation.

Leave it to “Scoop” Hilton to make a Montana of a molehill without checking first.

“Rachel McAdams Swings Into Spider-Man 4,” declares Perez Hilton in the headline of one of his latest posts.

He then backtracks in the opening line that she’s “being considered for the role of the new villainess.” And in the following sentence, he writes affirmatively, “Rachel will be playing the Black Cat, a dangerous foe to Spider-man, while also being a love interest for Peter Parker.”

Forget about how he goes back and forth between how she’s “being considered” and how she “will be” in “Spider-Man 4.” Actually, it doesn’t even matter because Hilton, who’s so afraid of Gossip Cop that he blocked us on Twitter, is wrong on either account. She’s neither “being considered” nor “will be” the villainess in the film. She’s not doing “Spider-Man 4” at all. Her rep even told Gossip Cop his account is “completely false.”

As an aside, Perez wrote, McAdam’s character “falls in love with Peter Parker, and uncovers his true identity. Her father then dies, and Hardy becomes a threat to Peter Parker.” Huh? Who’s Hardy?

Oh, “Cop Blocker” Hilton was in such a hurry to cut and paste this inaccurate story that when he lifted it from the movie site IMDB, he neglected to include that the villainess’ name is reportedly Felicia Hardy.

What a tangled web Hilton has again weaved for himself.

Is Slim Shady coming back to the multiplex?

“Eminem will star in the 3D film Shady Talez,” ScreenDaily.com reports in a claim picked up by Perez “Cop Blocker” Hilton, among others.

According to the site, Eminem’s first feature since 2002′s “8 Mile” will be a horror movie “styled as The Twilight Zone meets Creepshow.” The item also has him producing the project.

Regardless of how you feel about the controversial performer, don’t hit Fandango for advance tickets quite yet.

A representative for Eminem tells Gossip Cop the reports amount to “someone jumping the gun on a very early discussion… there’s no real movement on anything with regard to this yet.”

So while “Shady Talez” may be on big screens one day, be careful not to “Lose Yourself” in these rumors.

The tabs are so obsessed with Madonna‘s Jesus Luz relationship you’d think they’d spend a few minutes on minor distractions like details.

The pop icon is “slightly on edge,” the Sun reports, as she supposedly jets off to meet her boyfriend’s parents in Brazil, “fuelling talk she’ll marry him.” The visit is “her way of saying she will make this relationship permanent,” a “close family pal” told the paper.

Not surprisingly, Perez “Cop Blocker” Hilton also got the purpose of the visit wrong.

While it is true Madonna is flying into Rio de Janeiro, she isn’t taking her cues from “Meet the Parents.” The Sun and dozens of other outlets fail to mention the actual reason for the trip: to raise money for humanitarian programs in the spirit of her Raising Malawi organization. Plans to meet with local business leaders have been on Madonna’s Brazil agenda for a long time.

She may well meet with her beau’s family – but Gossip Cop thinks the confirmed charity work should at least be mentioned alongside the prospective in-laws visit.

Radar claims that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes bought a “palatial $15 million” home in New York City, and even included a link to blueprints of the place’s interior.

According to Radar, the townhouse is in the city’s Greenwich Village neighborhood, and the “grounds measure more than 8,100 sq. feet.”

The story then includes the names of other stars living in the area, but Gossip Cop will not repeat who they are in order to protect their privacy.

Looking at the blueprints for the massive house admittedly is pretty interesting, except for the teensy weensy fact that it’s not the Cruise-Holmes home. Whoops.

A rep for Holmes told Gossip Cop that the story is “not true.” They did NOT buy a new $15 million townhouse in New York. Cruise has owned a place in New York for the past 15 years, and it’s not on West 12th Street, as mistakenly reported as well by Perez “Cop Blocker” Hilton.

Not only is Perez Hilton so afraid of Gossip Cop that he’s blocked us on Twitter, but he’s also still afraid to fact-check. Today, the “Cop Blocker” posted a ridiculous item trying to link Lindsay Lohan to Leonardo DiCaprio.

Basically, Hilton insinuated that they have something going on. He scribbled, Lohan “wasn’t able to go unnoticed when she dropped by Leonard DiCaprio’s El Lay home on Saturday night… Wait, what????” And then, after incorrectly stating that the two had a “flirtation back in April,” he rudely wrote, “Don’t do it, Leo!”

Since Gossip Cop always checks facts, we found out that DiCaprio – who turns 35 on Wednesday – had a small party at his home last night for approximately 20 friends, including Lohan. That’s it. No Lindsay-Leo alone time. Nothing scandalous.

“’Twilight’ duo, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, stay apart to squash romance rumors,” was the headline of a piece in the New York Daily News’ Gatecrasher column.

The article then went on to say, that in order to quiet talk of them being a couple, Pattinson and Stewart “are keeping a safe distance while promoting their ‘Twilight’ sequel, ‘New Moon.’”

The paper even has an alleged “insider” say, “They’ve requested to do press separately for the movie… to avoid being seen together. Any time they’re photographed in the same place, the rumor mill just starts all over again.”

Picking up on that story, Perez “too-busy-blocking-Gossip-Cop-on-Twitter-to-fact-check” Hilton writes Pattinson and Stewart “won’t be in the same city again until they come to the Big Apple for back-to-back appearances on the ‘Today Show’ on Nov. 18.”

A couple of things: One, neither Hilton nor anyone else would know about the “Today Show” bookings had it not been for Gossip Cop.

Two, is he freakin’ serious?! “They won’t be in the same city again until… November 18”? Uh, the premiere in Los Angeles is on November 16 — two days before — and they’re BOTH going.

But why stop there?

The Gatecrasher column and “Cop Blocker” Hilton must have simply forgotten that Pattinson and Stewart will be together on November 6 when they tape “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

And that’s right, they’ll also be together in Paris for a promotional appearance on November 10.

And oh yeah, the following day they’ll be together for an event in London.

So other than those three dates…

No wait, Pattinson and Stewart will be together on November 12 in Madrid.

Nor should you forget about their event together in Munich on November 14.

Just to recap then… so unless you count their appearances together in Los Angeles, Paris, London, Madrid, Munich and then again in Los Angles – that’s correct, they “They won’t be in the same city again until… November 18.”

Maybe Gatecrasher and “Cop Blocker” should consider a profession where accuracy isn’t so important.
