The “American Idol” alum and Angel Reed, who met while starring in the Broadway musical ‘Rock of Ages,’ welcomed daughter Malena James last night.

She is the couple’s first child.

Two nights ago Miley Cyrus attended the Broadway musical “Rock of Ages” and visited backstage with the cast, including “American Idol” alum Constantine Maroulis. But since a straightforward story is never adequate, some bloggers decided to interpret her night at the theater as something more. “Rumor has it that director Adam Shankman wants to cast her in the upcoming movie version of the musical,” whispers Perez Hilton.
