Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 13-year-old son Christopher was released from the hospital last night after being in a beach accident that left him in the ICU at UCLA’s medical center. The ex-governor tweeted: “I knew Christopher couldn’t be stopped! Big thanks to all the doctors, nurses & staff at UCLA that helped him recover.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger filed an amended response to Maria Shriver’s divorce petition, which asked for joint custody of the couple’s two minor sons, Patrick and Christopher, spousal support, and for the former governor to pay her attorneys’ fees.

In his first response, Schwarzenegger sought to deny Shriver spousal support and asked that they each cover their respective lawyers’ fee.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver united today to say their 13-year-old son Christopher Schwarzenegger, who was injured a few days ago in a surfing accident, is “expected to make a full recovery.”

Christopher Schwarzenegger, the 13-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, is in the hospital’s intensive care unit after a serious surfing accident.

He’s sustained multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung.

The accident reportedly took place in Malibu last weekend.
