The actor’s exit is effective immediately, although much of the critically acclaimed NBC sitcom’s upcoming fourth season has been filmed already.

Chevy Chase reportedly used the N-word during a rant on the “Community” set on Friday.

Multiple outlets are reporting that the actor-comedian used the racist slur during a tirade in which he complained about the direction of his bigoted character.
