Despite the New York Times calling Chelsea Handler’s hosting of the 2010 Video Music Awards “the worst in [the] show’s history,” she’s certainly happy with her performance. And so is MTV, with its highest-rated awards show since 2002. What did you think of Handler’s hosting?

“So the MTV Video Music Awards will be on Sunday, September 12th, and everyone knows that when you think of rap music and hip-hop, you think of ‘Chelsea Lately,’” said Chelsea Handler at the top of her E! show tonight, adding, “And that’s why I will be hosting them.”

Handler will bring her raw comedy to the stage next month as Lady Gaga, Drake, Katy Perry, and Eminem, among others, via for Moonmen awards. Will you be watching?
